If you are looking for a stress free enjoyable wedding dress experience, avoid this place. I went in to try on a dress I had found online that I was in love with. I was in love with it when I tried it on too. I ordered my dress in a size 0 in March for my August wedding. I was told my size would come in in time. About a month later I called to see when my dress would be here and they told me July and that they had to get a size 2 to be here before the wedding.
I was never asked if that was okay or told before hand. At this point it was a month later and I did not want to start the buying process again. One size I did not think would be a big deal so I said whatever it will be fine. Less than two weeks later I get a call saying my dress was there. Somehow it went from July to May which is odd but anyways, I make and appt and go up there and try on my dress, which is too big and a SIZE 4. two sizes too big.
The girl helping me try on my dress did not offer to pin it up or for my to try on a veil with it or anything. I left this place wanting to cry not only from my sizing being off but from the customer service. If my dress was coming in two sizes bigger why didn't anyone tell me and why was it not a priority to make sure I knew what it would look like when altered?

I had a follow up appointment with the shop owner to discuss a problem. The appointment was two months out. I traveled an hour to get there and she wasnt there and didn't have the courtesy to call me. So I was treated disrespectfully and my problem went unresolved. The dress was a very expensive montage mon Cheri in blue ombre. I thought I was paying for a quality dress.
If it needs alterations forget it. The lace is cheaply made and frays in frequent clusters revealing areas where the color did not fully penetrate. A seamstress's nightmare. Forget the optional sleeves. Even more trouble! The seamstresses in the shop agreed with me.a nightmare! Run!

I bought both of my prom dresses at Sandras and always had great experiences. I recently got engaged and went shopping at another location for my wedding dress first. I had a terrible experience, the sales people were too pushy, and I hated everything they put me in. I went to Sandras and they took the best care of me. They listened, asked questions, and supported me through the whole experience.
The staff managed to turn my nerves into relaxation, knowing I would be in good hands and that the staff won't stop until every detail is perfect. Thanks to Deb and to Susan for the care and support! 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Drive to Philly to get your nice dresses if you want good service, or even a friendly welcome. Just walked in to Sandra's, mid-day on a Tuesday, to ask a question about purchasing a dress for a photoshoot (not try on-just to ask a question) for a commercial that I'm working on. After being completely ignored and passed by by four employees without so much as a courtesy hello, I walked out. Jokes really on them, I buy a lot of nice dresses and am a very spendy customer. Will never step foot in the place again. Shockingly snobby for a small town shop.

I am a bridesmaid and my friend bought her wedding dress from here. Since she bought her dress here, all the bridesmaids purchased their dresses here too. The staff members here were not professional at all when all of us came to try on dresses and get sized. The worst part of the experience was when each individual was paying for their dress, the woman checking us out made it clear she expected a "tip" and started mentioning the methods of payment she accepted which made all of us very uncomfortable and pressured. If this staff does work on tips, management should let the bride know this ahead of time or post some signs in the building making customers aware of this, instead of having staff bring it up as a person is checking out, essentially being put on the spot.
We all placed an order for a dress and the wrong item numbers got entered so we had to address that issue too. I attempted to address these issues with the owner Susan directly, coming to learn that she is likely not treating her employees right. She does not pay them commissions on their dress sales, so recently added a "tip column" to the 2022 sales slip to have her customers cover what she should be paying her employees in commission.
Being a bridal consultant is absolutely a sales role and unhappy employees treated poorly by management are not motivated and as a result, are not as helpful to customers in my opinion. Susan didn't address a single issue I mentioned, and just tried defending the company and their reputation. The whole experience just wasn't fun. I was a little apprehensive about trying on wedding dresses for the first time. I had an idea of the style I wanted to try, but very unsure of how it would look on me. Brianna was nothing short of amazing - she listened to what I described/showed her I envisioned, and she explained how the process goes as well as how she would be brutally honest when needed (which I greatly appreciated).
She pulled a bunch of dresses, and even mixed up a few just to be sure I was sure of the style I wanted. I didn't hate any of the dresses I tried on, and it was definitely a tough decision. But Brianna never tried to pressure me into saying yes to any of them. When I was torn between two dresses, she let me try both of them on a few more times so I could be confident in my decision. I eventually said yes to the dress and I am so grateful I had such a stress-free and fun experience.

My first experience at Sandras was awesome. David's bridal made me very angry and Sandras accommodated me last minute. I was not excited to get my wedding dress because I was so angry at David's bridal. My first appointment with we consultant at Sandras was perfect. I tried on eight dresses we picked out a flower girl dress I couldn't have been happier.
After ordering my dress and my flower girls dress and veil, I received a phone call a few weeks later stating that my dress had arrived. I was excited I thought it was my dress but it was my flowers girl dress. I never received a phone call when my dress came in. A few weeks before my wedding I anxiously called and was told that my dress was there.
I was a little annoyed that I never received a phone call but was just happy that it was there and set up an appointment to try the dress on. My experience at that time was fine and left making an appointment for alterations. My alterations appointment was very odd. While the seamstress did nothing wrong, I kind of felt like I was forgotten about. Sandras either overbooked themselves or did not have enough hands on deck to handle all of the appointments they had around the time that I went.
A nice woman brought me my dress and helped me get in it and the seamstress came in, left. and no one ever came back. I was left standing there confused on sure what to do for at least 10 minutes. Luckily my mother was able to help me get out of my dress and we searched the store to find help, and we were told to leave the dress and make a second alteration appointment.
I couldn't believe that I was left standing there in my dress with no help to get it off and I was not able to try my veil on I was afraid to open the package by myself. My alterations were complete a few days before my wedding and I was very nervous because there was not time to make second alterations but my dress was perfect, it fit like a glove.
I love my dress it was affordable, and comfortable, I just wish the customer service would have been a little better. my groomsmen all also received their tuxedos from sandras they were very handsome however all groomsmen had issues calling in their sizes because they were unable to get anyone on the phone some called for over a week trying to get through.

I found a lovely dress here for my daughter's wedding. After taking measurements, I was told I'd need a size 12. Since I usually wear a 4 or 6 I expressed my concern - we finally compromised on a size 10. The young woman helping me when I had my fitting told me not to worry, a few alterations and it would be a perfect fit. When I brought the dress in to my tailor the first thing she told me was that I needed a smaller size!
Thanks to her expertise she said she'd be able to take it in all over so it would fit perfectly. I will be going back to her soon to try it on so we shall see. The alterations are costing nearly the price of the dress. Bridals by Sandra should be the experts and should have a better idea of how to size a dress.

Went in to try on a dress wanted to bring my mother back to see the dress no longer need the dress they took a "refundable" deposit called to get the money back and was told that's not gonna happen in that exact tone by some rude lady named susan when I told her I was going to leave her a Yelp review she goes that's not gonna happen here it is Susan as promised you guys are crooks!

I am extremely unhappy with this establishment. My mother ordered a dress for her granddaughter's wedding, which was supposed to take place last year in 2020. She paid full price to place the order and they contacted her when the dress arrived. They offered to hold it until she scheduled an alteration appointment. When she went to the appointment they thought my niece was there for alterations to a wedding dress which she never purchased, and they did not have my mother's dress.
Instead of owning up to their mistake, they acted as if my mother was at fault and was confused. They clearly have no concept of customer service. I will NEVER give them any more business and will make sure my friends and family are aware of how horrible they treat people. Shame on them!

Got married in a small ceremony in June and my dress was the talk of the wedding! I had a great experience at Bridals by Sandra - all of the staff were incredibly friendly and the service was wonderful! I had a positive experience with the alterations there was well. I had a modesty window added to the front of my dress and I was amazed at how perfectly it matched the rest of the lace on the bodice! They even made a note on the slip to wax my straps before I picked it up (to help keep the beading from irritating my skin) and it was really helpful!

Omg! I tried on wedding dresses for the second time and this was by far the best experience! The person who helped us was sooo helpful and it was a night and day experience compared to David's bridal! The dressing room was so gigantic! The person who helped me went above and beyond to find the best dresses they had and every dress I tried on made me feel special and so amazing! I hands down had the best experience here!

Everyone here was friendly and cautious of COVID protocols. With everything going on they still made my experience special and exciting. Brianna did an excellent job finding dresses for me to try with little guidance. I wasn't sure what I was going to like and it was almost as if she knew me better than myself! Before my final decision and reveal to my friends and family she chose the PERFECT veil and little bouquet. They did a great job making the experience special while also being cautious of cleanliness and social distancing.

Brianna was amazing! She helped me find THREE wedding gowns that I loved. I didn't think I'd even find one. She listened to me and was so complimentary and sweet during the appointment. I had 2 AWFUL experiences here. When looking for my own wedding dress in 2017 the service and prices were awful (that hasn't changed). The owner treats her workers terribly and the workers aren't helpful what-so-ever. I had to buy a brides maid dress there 2 years later and the girl did a TERRIBLE job measuring me for a size and she was not helpful when I asked her advice. My dress was TOO SMALL and of course they don't care about that after I paid $200 upfront. Wish I could give them less than 1 star. Save yourself the trip and money.

Do not come here! They will only add stress to the wedding planning process! Great selection of dresses and fair prices, BUT the WORST customer service. Whoever answers the phone was rude to multiple members of the bridal party throughout the process and could not pull up simple information about the bride's dress. They made our bridal party an appointment for alterations when there was no seamstress working.
They do not care about your convenience and have made members of the bridal party drive from where they live (3+ hours away) FIVE times just to purchase their dress and get the hem fixed. NEVER going there again and will redirect anyone I know from going there in the future.

This was my second experience at Bridals by Sandra (two times a bridesmaid, never a bride). Sad to say, the second time was worse than the first. There are three main reasons for my continuing disappointment: 1. Lack of Service. They have upwards of 6 girls all who are going to spend $250 a piece on a dress, and they don't offer (a) water (let alone cheap champagne), (b) enough seats in the dressing room so everyone can sit, or (c) to bring in different size/colors/styles of dresses. 2. Demeanour. Unfriendly.
The girls helping the bridal parties are not just shy, but unsmiling, not excited, and not willing to ask questions about the wedding or the bride. Essentially, the attitude is "give us your money and get out". Our bridal attendant's lurky sullen demeanour and constant side eye put a damper on the excitement in the room. 3. Pricing Structure. Ladies - be warned: If anyone in your bridal party is a size 14+ (which translates to a 10/12 in real sizes) they will be charged an extra $50 per dress.
No one will tell you this ahead of time, no one will tell them and they will be suffering in silence while the store gives lip service to the bride that they are giving 10% off. They are not - they are giving an upcharge. In this day and age of size positivity, this store is still stumbling along in the 1980s. I will never go here for my wedding dresses when there are so many better options out there.

Terrible experience. The sales girl was so unfriendly. She didn't smile, personality of a mop. I had to rely on her to pick dresses to try on, they had no pictures to reference. So when she brought me gowns and I said I didn't like them, she seemed annoyed. I was so turned off by the sales girl, I will never recommend them. The prices were very high too.

My experience with Bridal's by Sandra has been great so far. I heard about them from a friend and I am so happy I did. After a less than great experience at David's Bridal I was so relieved by everything and everyone at Bridal's by Sandra. Erika E was such an amazing consultant and made my experience even better. She was so patient and kind!
She put me in dresses that made me feel amazing and we're EXACTLY what I was looking for. I really felt that she genuinely cared about me throughout my appointment. I felt that my dress was very affordable for the high quality gown designed by Mori Lee. Erika also helped me pair my dress with a gorgeous and affordable veil. I was also able to find 7 beautiful bridesmaid dresses for my girls, although they seemed a little expensive between $180-$260 a gown. However, I was so happy to see that there was such a LARGE selections of dresses!
We ended up getting 6 dresses of the same color but different styles. I will also be ordering my groom's and groomsman's tuxedos, as well as my invitations through Bridals by Sandra in the near future! Whenever a bride purchases a dress here, any future transactions (as long as they are paid in full) such as bridesmaid dresses, jewelry, veil, MOB dresses, tuxedos, and invitations all receive 10% off!
The only negative I do have to say is that there have been a few times where I called and was greeted by the receptionist and she was not as pleasant as the rest of the staff tends to be.

I live in Philadelphia and was visiting my mom and had heard good things through friends about this store. My consultant was Alyssa who was knowledgeable and charming and every dress she pulled was the right style and I found my dress unexpectedly on the 3rd try! She was patient and corseted me into it 3 times so I could keep seeing it on. The price was excellent and they clearly have a range of designers and styles. I couldn't be happier and can't wait til my dress comes in!

I currently live in NYC, and was set on purchasing a dress in the city to make alterations easier, but decided to "just look" near home to make my mom happy. I had previously gone to 3 stores in the city, and while I found dresses I liked - the service was subpar and I constantly felt rushed. (In one store I was allowed only 4 dresses and no veils unless I would purchase that day.) So, I had low expectations upon entering Bridals by Sandra.
I was lucky enough to have Alyssa as my consultant. What a great experience. She listened, offered suggestions and was KNOWLEDGEABLE about every single dress she had me in. She was patient and didn't appear to get frustrated when I couldn't make a decision (let alone form an opinion.) The dresses she pulled were beautiful. She also offered suggestion as to bridesmaid dresses (when/how to order so fabric coloring is the same, etc.) She was a full blown wedding pro. While I did not purchase my dress during my visit, my next appointment is booked and I'm now 100% set on ordering from Bridals by Sandra.

Just visited the page to comb through reviews to determine what my consultants name was (Stacey) from 3 years ago so I could recommend her to someone and figured I may as well leave a review while I'm here! Bridals By Sandra was top notch for my October 2014 wedding. I had been to at least 5 other bridal shops and was not having luck (or the best customer experience) with finding the perfect dress. Finally, my mom and I made the trip up to Nazareth and I met with Stacey.
I described what I liked, didn't like, and how I was looking for just an element of "different". The first dress she pulled from the back was the perfect dress for me! Stacey was very friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my requests. she basically read my mind;) I absolutely recommend working with her! For follow up appointments (including my whole bridal party) I had the opportunity to work with another consultant (Deb, I think?) who was also amazing and incredibly knowledgeable.
My dress came in on time, alterations were done quickly and were absolutely perfect. I was able to take home my dress the day of my follow up alterations appointment. the seamstress took care of some last minute tweaks, steaming/pressing, etc. while we were there to save me the 1+ hour trip back up there so close to my wedding. I absolutely recommend Sandra's for all of your bridal needs.

My dress came in on time, alterations were done quickly and were absolutely perfect. I was able to take home my dress the day of my follow up alterations appointment. the seamstress took care of some last minute tweaks, steaming/pressing, etc. while we were there to save me the 1+ hour trip back up there so close to my wedding. I absolutely recommend Sandra's for all of your bridal needs.

I think It's awful when you cannot return a dress when you change your mind! I just asked for simple store credit for the mother of the bride dress I was sold in size 12and I'm a 6. We can take it in they said. It even had a hole on the side. I would not recommend getting anything at this store. They make you sign a paper right off that it can't be refunded.
I get that, but store credit is a no. Dear Sandra's, your already got your money. She claimed it was like buying a bathing suit! What? You can return bathing suits. I only had it for 3 weeks and you knew the wedding date. There are much much better places to go. The front desk person is very rude. I saw her do it when I was there and to me on the phone. STAY AWAY.
