I hired Krazy Kat for my wedding and he was atrocious. I chalk this up to the fact that he helped himself to our open bar and drank all night. He played the wrong song when the bridal party walked down the aisle. He was suppose to play a very soft acoustic song but the girls ended up walking down to a popular pop song. He also messed up the song my wife was going to walk down the aisle to, the song that we were getting introduced to at the reception, and our first dance song.
My wife had gone on his website, as he instructed, and entered into his system the exact songs that she wanted to be played at what times. There is no excuse for his mess-up. The first song of the night he got right was the song that my wife was going to dance to with her father. My father-in-law had sat down during our first dance and Krazy Kat started playing their song immediately after our first dance song.
When it started playing my wife was alone on the dancefloor while he yelled my father-in-laws name over the song. By the time my father-in-law got to my wife the song was halfway over. I don't know if he was unaware, too inebriated, or just didn't care enough to stop the song or to make sure all parties were present before starting it in the first place, but it is inexcusable.
As if that wasn't bad enough a lot of my guests had gone to members of the bridal party to complain about the songs he was playing. As said before, my wife went on his website and listed hours of songs that she wanted him to play. He played maybe 3 of the songs off the list in the hours that he was DJing. He would get everyone on the dancefloor for a song and then halfway through change it to a slow song and everyone would leave the dance floor.
We had numerous guests go up to him to request songs because he wasn't doing his job. Krazy Kat may have been the "it" DJ in the 70s but clearly 40 years of wear and tear have rendered him an incompetent DJ.

Krazy Kat was the DJ at our wedding - and I can't say enough good things about him! He kept the partying going from start to finish. People were on the dance floor the entire night. I received so many complements!. One of the best services included in our package was online access to a form where we could detail all of our wants/needs. We could specify songs that we wanted to be played directly from his database, and what we wanted played during our entrance, cake cutting, etc. we even had the choice to select what we didn't want to hear (line dances, bouquets toss, etc). I could log in at any time and update my preferences. I would absolutely use Krazy Kat for our next big event.

Our DJ was fantastic! He reviewed all of the details with us at the very beginning of the reception to make sure that he had all of the correct information, and he checked in with us periodically to make sure that the music, volume, etc. was satisfactory. He was full of energy and everyone had a blast! The dance floor was packed the entire time, and he really made the day fun!
