Essential Simple wedding ceremony includes vows and ring exchange, for the Bride and Groom and up to 4 guests. Short & Sweet Short and sweet wedding ceremony including a reading, vows, and ring exchange, for the bride and groom and up to 8 guests. We truly enjoyed having Jeff as our officiant for our wedding; we loved how he emphasized the romantic aspect of marriage!

Beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding with a backdrop of their gazebo. Nighttime is more beautiful with the LED string lights they have along pathways or in outdoor seating areas. Inside the staff was very professional and willing to help with the smallest detail or question. I'd recommend this location to anyone needing a spot.

Thank you so much to Chapel in the Pines for the most beautiful wedding ceremony! From the minute we pulled up to take a tour of the beautiful grounds we knew this was it! Beautiful gardens, chapel and gazebo, very friendly and accommodating staff and the best pricing! Jeff was so helpful and kept in contact with us throughout. Was always there to answer our questions.
With our kind of last minute and quick planning of our wedding date they made everything so easy for us! Another great part is they are prepared for weather conditions as well so nothing gets interrupted on your special day! So happy we discovered Chapel in the Pines and would HIGHLY recommend! This is a hidden gem in Sycamore, IL ran by an amazing family who knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to weddings!

We hosted my son and now D-I-L's wedding at Chapel in the Pines this past Saturday. They were a pleasure to work with prior to the wedding as well as on the day of the wedding. They went above and beyond to answer our questions and make sure that the wedding went very well. It is a unique venue and the owners are very accomodating.

Attended a wedding and reception in August. Lovely venue. Encountered a personal problem, through no fault of the owners. Jeff, without being asked, went above and beyond normal customer service and resolved the problem. Unusual to find that kind of care and concern in today's world. Kind of nice to find.

Attended a wedding recently and everything was adequate, except the food. Two main issues, but ones I tried to work through and the staff failed; Firstly, tables of 8 were given 4 pieces of bread total. Though they served a vat of butter, the staff was 'out' of bread when guests asked if they could provide a piece of bread for each guest. Secondly, the food showed up in a budget rental truck and sat in the parking lot (85+ degrees outside) for well over an hour.
Cake wasn't served, it was left out for guests to find and bring back to their tables. But the biggest issue came when they served the meal and I specifically asked for no mushrooms. They asked if it was an allergy and I said, "no, I just really hate mushrooms". They came back to check a second time and we had the same conversation. They said nothing, but returned with a plate of overcooked steak WITH mushrooms. I left and found pizza down the street. Nice enough venue, horrible attention to detail and sub par service. Look elsewhere.

My husband and I were married here in January of 2015. My husband and I wanted something simple and small, that his three young daughters could be a part of. We got everything we were looking for! It is a beautiful location and we got some wonderful pictures. If you are looking for a small stress free wedding I highly recommend considering these guys.

We had a beautiful wedding at Chapel in the Pines a few weeks ago! After searching for a month for a place to have a nice but not over-the-top ceremony and reception, we found CIP and met with Howard, the owner. We loved that the venue already had a lot of charm and didn't require much additional decorating. As a couple, we are not very traditional, and the CIP staff were very respectful of that and were there to answer any questions we had, getting back to us very quickly via email since we are from out of town.
They even let us set up the hall the night before because nothing else was scheduled. On the big day, the staff were fantastic! They were definitely there to help, but not overbearing. We highly recommend the photo booth. Our guests had a blast taking silly pictures in addition to the more formal ones by our photographer. Overall it was a perfect day!

We just had our wedding at this wonderful place. From the moment we started planning our event over a year ago, to the actual wedding day, Howard, Donna and Jeffery could not have been more warm and caring to the two of us. They along with their great staff went above and beyond to ensure our complete and total satisfaction and happiness. We could not imagine not having our wedding there.
They coordinate everything with the other vendors, and truly stay involved to make sure everything is and was PERFECT! My new wife Donna and I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Howard, Donna, Jeffery and their staff for making our special day so memorable. We are still receiving calls and messages from our guests singing the praises of CHAPEL IN THE PINES!

The Chapel in the Pines is a difficult one to review. As a recent guest at a wedding there, I had a lot of mixed feelings about the place. In theory, it is a nice place. Very quaint, an adorable chapel, a functional banquet hall, lovely gardens and a really lovely bridal cottage should make for a perfect wedding. However, I do have several issues with the place. 1.
When we were setting up, there wasn't enough tables set out. The staff at first tried to argue saying that it was the set up that was reviewed with the bride and groom.not realizing he was speaking to the groom. He eventually did bring out the two extra tables, but it really shouldn't have been such an issue. 2. While the bridal cottage was awesome, they expected it to be empty by 6.15. Considering the wedding ceremony didn't start until 5.30 it was a rush to get it empty in time.
The brides friends ended up cleaning out the room in a frantic rush since she and her bridesmaids were taking pictures. 3. In the chapel and somewhat in the banquet hall there were a lot of bad silk flowers. It would have been prettier had the left the space more simple. 4. The staff member that was available throughout the evening was wearing a fleece vest. Seriously? It's a wedding.
Wear something better then a fleece vest. Plus, now I am looking at the website today and half of the buttons aren't working correctly. It could be an awesome venue, they just need to step up their game
