Great service, great food, great staff, beautiful venue and the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming.

I had my wedding in Nahant country club, in June 19, 2021. This place is simply beautiful. Yasmene is the best, they take care of the weddings as if it was their own, such amazing and unforgettable work. The decorations in the venue are beautiful and they put so much attention to detail. The food was oh high quality and tasty. I could not be happier with everything, I'm so glad we chose this place for our wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a country club for their wedding. I had the wedding of my dreams and it was thanks to how amazing everyone here is.

Run, do not book any event here especially if you cannot tell the future because any money you give to them belongs to them. They will never give you a refund even if the state tells you that you cannot have your event, somehow they sustain damages and simply keep your money. Ridiculous to cancel my wedding due to covid THEN follow up with, we are also keeping your money.

Don't waste your time, work with a place that is actually BBB accredited. As they followed up they have actually confirmed their inability to simply refund people their money rather they will keep it and force them to another date to keep their money and use it to pay their staff. This posting is honest and sadly accurate. We wish that you'd reform your business practices to be ethical and customer centered rather than centered on preserving your income alone. I do not wish you the best, I wish for you to do better.

What an amazing afternoon! Thanks to to the Country Club and the amazing ambiance, personal and event management team, my sister's bridal shower was an event to remember. Yasmine was such a pleasure to work with, making the entire planning process and event day execution a breeze. The room set up was stunning, food was great, and everyone had a wonderful time. We look forward to hosting another event here in the future. Thank you again!

This venue is like stepping back in another century. The building is stunning with the gleaming wood floors and grand dining room. We had a rehearsal dinner here which turned out perfect. From the get go, Yasmene helped us create a beautiful night with delicious food for our guests. We had a choice of baked haddock or chicken piccata, both were yummy.

They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, even ordering the beautiful themed cake and making the room more beautiful with the additional flowers and lights I brought to the event. We had the use of the lovely bar to use for drinks and delicious appetizers. I wouldn't hesitate to host your next event here. We all loved it.

Run, do not book a single event with this place. Their contract alone says they can keep every dime you gave them even if a pandemic occurs causing you to have to cancel your event. Not to worry I have a fantastic attorney than can get through this, but I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't highly upset and disappointed that they cannot see that they are taking advantage of people and making a bad name for themselves. I'll do my part by leaving the truth on every site possible.

Had our wedding here everything was perfect staff was lovely. Food was great bartenders were awesome! Great place for a function would definitely go back for event if need be.

SAVE YOURSELF FROM HAVING ANYTHING HERE! WE ARE OUT OF $3000 for our wedding because we had to change the date due to financial reasons and our deposit will not be refunded ( which stated nothing about this in our contract) unless the date gets rebooked. So far it hasn't! This place was the only one I looked at. My first wedding now i'm not even excited anymore.

They don't respond to calls and emails right away so your often left in limbo. I wish I could give no stars because this truly is such a scam of a place! Not happy at all! Go elsewhere! Not only it is unfair that she stated in my contract it was noted which is was not but I know people that have worked for this venue personally and they are not only unfair to their clients but to their employees as well! No thanks!

We had our wedding reception at Nahant Country Club. The service was amazing! Yasmeen was our event coordinator and she did everything you could ask. She helped with food selection, table placement, time management and overall guest experience. The country club hosts 1 event at a time so the day is all about you. The food was excellent as well. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Our wedding was perfect and the Nahant Country Club deserves huge credit for that! Taking photos at a wedding here. What an excellent venue! Really great service, a beautiful room upstairs for the bride to get ready, and a lovely gazebo for the ceremony. And the food is wonderful! Caesar salad with lots of fresh grated Romano cheese, crispy green beans, and a beef tenderloin that was perfect.

We had our wedding there on 10/29/16 and we had a Halloween theme. Yasmene was so great in allowing us to decorate the place so that our vision was met. She also came that day and helped us set-up (my father created the main room as a haunted house). Her and her staff all dressed up that evening to ensure all looked great with our theme (costume attire was required by my guests).

My guests raved about the food (we did an all app reception) stating that they actually had to push the staff away cause they were full. I would highly recommend Nahant Country Club. The place is beautiful and you have the whole house for you and your guests.

I got married here on May 21! It was amazing, the whole process was just wonderful i worked with Yasmene and Heather. They both were at my beck and call! anything i asked for it was made possible! For me, its all about he experience and my experience with them was wonderful. The food is AMAZING, all my guest loved the food. Also, for most of my decorations and a lot of other things i took their recommendations.

After all, this is what they do for work. and I left a lot to their judgment and i am so glad i did! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day, and i owe it all to the girls @ the NCC.

If I could give more stars, I would. We just had our wedding here May 22, 2016. My husband and I are living in Florida but are from VT and MA. We chose the Country Club a year and a half before the wedding. Yasmene was our coordinator and I couldn't be more happy with her and her staff. I did all of the planning from FL which meant a lot of emails and phone calls but not once did I ever feel like I was being a bother.

The country club had the most amazing food and Yasmene was so perfect in executing my vision that I gave her. Trust me it's not easy to do with me. No one would be sorry to have their wedding here. More people need to have it at the Country Club. It's the most beautiful location and you have the whole place to yourself. They really made our day the best day of our lives. I cannot thank them enough!

I was recently here for a baby shower and everything was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. There was a nice variety of croissants and other breads with the tea and coffee station before opening up the breakfast buffet. For breakfast, we had waffles, eggs benedict, sausage and bacon, followed by an assortment of mini pastries and cakes for dessert. I walked around to see the other rooms, and it really is the perfect venue for a bridal or baby shower. Also, the drive along the water coming in was really gorgeous.

We were married in June of 2015, and worked with Yasmene to create a perfect experience for our destination wedding. Yasmene will bend over backwards to accommodate your requests, and does so happily while bringing her expertise to the table. Our wedding was small, under 20 people, but we saw the set up for a 200 person wedding as well. She can handle any size, and pull it off with grace and style.

The grounds are beautiful. The club is quite beautiful. The food was delicious. BTW, I was an out of town bride who wasn't seeing the venue in person until the day before the wedding, but with Yasmene running point on everything, I had no worries. Nahant was a special location for us. I'm so glad we decided to get married at the Country Club. Can't say enough good things about it.

My husband and I got married here on a Friday night in September I can honestly say through the entire planning of our wedding the facility was great. The package deals really kept the stress to the minimum, I was even looking forward to future events at the beautiful mansion. Then wedding day itself happened - mishap after mishap including the ballroom being set for 104 guests when we had 120 confirm and had given the head count weeks before and paid for 120 guests!

They skimp on staffing which made dinner take MUCH longer than we were quoted. When I shared my concerns the day after the wedding with the manager she was very snippy and told me "at least it was all rectified" (meaning our guests got fed). No one should enter a wedding and have to stand waiting for a chair! Nothing could ruin our day and we still felt it was perfect but it was such a let down to have such poor day of coordination & utter lack of organization.

Get Everything in Writing! Their seems to be a loss of memory when it comes to what was discussed and what is billed! Lot's of disappointments when it came down to the final bill. There were charges on my bill that we had discussed as waived and I had to pay and pay and pay.need I say more? Get everything in writing!. The food was good. There was one waitress that was really rude!

Once the bill was paid, all the venue wanted was everyone out! The head guy didn't have enough class to thank me or my wife for using the venue after we were hit with a huge bill!

Had our wedding at Nahant Country Club in August. Overall I am very pleased with NCC. The wedding package included just about everything including the wedding cake. Looked at a few venues and found that NCC was the most bang for our buck. The ballroom is very elegant and classy. The bridal suite was large enough for the all the ladies to get ready.

The landscaping is quite beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. The outdoor terrace was perfect for cocktail hour for guests to go out and mingle. Everything went according to plan and Peter, Pat, and Barbara did an excellent job on getting it done. The food stations had plenty of food for the guests and the meal was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to do photos at Nahant Beach which was an added bonus.

I will agree with other comments that maybe they need more bartenders as there was always a line, but I don't think guests minded as much. I would recommend NCC to anyone looking for an outdoor summer wedding that won't break the bank.

We had our entire wedding day at Nahant Country Club - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We were two brides, one American and one British, getting married mid-April (so who knew what the weather would be); they were very flexible and accommodating. We didn't see each other before we got dressed, so they re-fitted a powder room into a second bridal suite for us, which was great.

We made use of just about every room - and there are several! We had the ceremony outside, formal photos in the room at the end where we would have had an indoor ceremony, and used the front sitting room with the veranda along with the bar/lounge area for the cocktail hour. The ballroom was large enough to accommodate our 130 guests for dining, as well as the dancing after without having to move tables, but still felt intimate because of the way they set things up.

The venue is not actually on the ocean, but being in Nahant, it's just a few seconds away. For our mid-April wedding, that was perfect - outdoors right on the beach would have been too cold. From our first visit to the wedding day, we spoke with Beverley, Peter and Yasmene, as well as Pat, the chef. All were pleasant to talk to and work with - be aware that they respond more quickly to phone calls than emails. Pat went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome every time we visited.

When my wife's parents visited from England in September, NCC allowed us to have the tasting much earlier than usual, so that they could take part, and we toured the facility multiple times as various relatives came into town. We did most of our planning with Yasmene, who was very professional, had great suggestions but was also very willing to do anything we needed. Barbie, the head wait staff, was wonderful.

We made all of our guests aware that credit cards aren't accepted at the bar, and it was no problem (many weddings we've been to are cash only, so we weren't surprised by that.) Our guests had nothing but compliments for all of the staff at NCC.

Our venue hunt was over after seeing the Nahant Country Club for the first time. We had previously looked at 3 other venues, but after seeing the beauty of this venue and feeling at home with Peter Dawson, it was a done deal in planning our August wedding. Peter Dawson and the entire staff at the Country Club really make you and your guests feel at home.

Their wedding package covers almost ALL details at a reasonable cost and makes everything easier for the bride and groom. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Their chef, Patrick, is very talented and truly caters to your every need. I can't say enough about the convenience of this venue. There's a beautiful ceremony gazebo, a back-up fireplace room in the event of inclement weather, a bridal suite upstairs, a bar, a cocktail room with a 2nd bar, a terrace for guests to enjoy cocktail hour, and a stunning ballroom. You've got everything you need in one location.

My only one complaint would be that you're charged the price of your higher entree for a split menu-- for example, to serve chicken or fish. More than half of our guests chose chicken, yet we had to pay the price of the haddock entree for all 200 meals. While that doesn't sound like much, it sure added up. Our guests had a blast and they're still raving about how much they enjoyed our wedding. Nahant Country Club truly makes their mansion yours for your special day.

I've had two holiday parties here we are a large group and several people were hesitant to go to Nahant. They do such a great job everyone was thrilled to go back this year. Classy, great food, only concern CASH ONLY BAR

Went here for a wedding. Place was huge and nice enough.but the bar was another story. They had 2 bartenders on for a wedding of 150 people, took forever to get a drink! Bar was cash only, and there is no ATM on the premises.they lost ALOT of business that night because no one had cash. Food was "meh" and service was pretty good. Next time I'll bring a flask.
