Better Catering By T & L CTRS

T&L catered my daughter's college graduation party in my yard. We went with the "build your own BBQ" option and could not be happier. The food was amazing. All the guests commented on how good the food was (the pulled pork was a HUGE hit)! There was more than enough food with plenty of left over to spare! T&L nailed it on the quality and quantity. Will def be using them in the future! A++++

T & L Catering was recommended to me by the hotel my sons college baseball team was staying in for a travel baseball weekend. I wanted to cater a late lunch for the team on Easter weekend. I called two days prior to the date of the lunch. Within just one phone call Pam had us completely set up and ready to go! She was very accommodating and super helpful. T & L delivered the hot food and set up the whole buffet for us! The food was fabulous and the pricing was perfect! I highly recommend T & L Catering! They were great!

This was my first time using T&L Catering for my event and it's safe to say it will not be my last! The staff are very friendly and great communication in regards to locking in details surrounding your event. I chose T&L Catering to provide the food for a mother's day brunch this year and I received non-stop compliments on the food and overall presentation of everything. T&L Catering is truly a one-stop place for all your event needs. They really made the whole process of planning a major event seem so easy. I would definitely recommend anyone to trust T&L Catering to execute your event flawlessly.

The room is big, they do the tables in whatever color you want. They have options to rent photo booth, or photographer, DJ. They accommodate pretty much whatever you need. I'm vegan so there weren't many options for me, but plenty for the guests. They wrap up your leftovers and send you on your way. Great space for a small wedding, birthday, graduation party, etc. I enjoyed it. Just wish there were a couple more vegan options (but not tofu). I didn't get to eat. Everything was still great.

We hired T&L to cater our daughter's baptism celebration @ the James Ward Mansion. Jaci and her crew were amazing, they made sure the space was set up to our specifications and made clean up a breeze. They also made sure all our guests needs were met. The food was delicious and we received nothing but positive feedback from our guests who attended- they raved about the food. We will definitely be using them for future catered events. We have used T&L catering and the Riverview Banquet Hall for two large family parties. Both have given us such a wonderful experience. The food has been delicious, excellent service, and such a positive experience overall. They also offer very reasonable pricing, as that was something we were looking for as well. We will definitely be using them again in the future and I highly recommend them for your party, big or small.

T&L Catering catered my mother's retirement party on 2/12/22. The food was amazing! The service was top notch. Definitely will not look to any place else when we need catering again! Tom and Pam were SO easy to work with!

They were very professional in assisting in my grandmother's repast. It was such a pleasure corresponding with Linda at the office. Our party was a bit early arriving but the staff was very accommodating and professional. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Cleanup was great and any leftovers were nicely wrapped up for us to enjoy later.

We hired T & L for our wedding celebration at the recommendation of our venue. Tom and his team were very pleasant and easy to work with - you can tell they're a family business. The pricing was excellent and the food was fantastic. We had a few special requests, which they handled nicely. A couple of negatives: a few of the tablecloths were stained or the colors didn't match (which we luckily caught the day before and was corrected before the event).

The other thing was that, while we had an excellent maitre d', the on-site service staff didn't seem to have much experience and started breaking down tables before the event was over, which was not a good look. We're chalking it up to the difficulty of finding staff these days, and considering the overall professionalism of T & L, we expect that this will not be an ongoing issue. We would absolutely hire again and recommend T & L for any event.

I just had my baby shower at River View and everything came out perfect. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious mainly the penne vodka everyone loved it. All the left over was wrapped and given to me to take home. From the bartender to the servers everyone was very nice. Even before the event everyone at T&L catering was very nice and helped with all the questions I had.

Silver Platter Caterers (a new division of T &L Caterers based in North Plainfield) catered my engagement cocktail party at my parents' house last weekend. They did a phenomenal job - countless guests asked us who the caterer was because their staff was so attentive and the food was so exceptional. All communication with Pam ahead of the event was seamless - the on-site run through two days before could not have gone more smoothly. Pam came and took detailed notes and photos of the house, capturing key information to share with her staff so they'd know exactly how to set up.

We had rented a portable bar we found online through a totally separate third party vendor. When the bar arrived the day before the party in extremely poor condition, Pam went out of her way to provide assistance. She remedied the situation by giving us a white linen skirt which she said we could cut to cover the front of the damaged bar. Pam was so helpful during a stressful situation and her creative solution was much appreciated.

The day of the party, Georgeanne and her team arrived hours before the event. They took over the kitchen and transformed the house making it beautiful and event ready. Both bartenders were awesome and all servers could not have been nicer - they thought of every little detail and the presentation of the food was lovely. From the passed hors d'oeuvres and cold station, to the paella, carved beef/ham, and sliders, all food was delicious. The dessert spread with a beautiful presentation of mini-cupcakes and assorted bite size cakes was also a massive hit - kudos to the Chef. Can't recommend them enough!

They catered my 15th work anniversary at my job I didn't know what to expect but it was awesome. The food was delicious and they set it all up. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area Ps. I recommend the bbq menu every one at work thought it was great!

I used T&L Catering for my October Barn Wedding at Glenmoore Farm in Hopewell, NJ. The price was very reasonable for the food and other services provided. My experience was nothing short of amazing. Tom and his staff were responsive and made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. Tom went above and beyond to answer all questions and, make sure my wedding was exactly what I envisioned.

I got countless compliments about the all the food but especially cocktail hour. The charcuterie display was outstanding. The food was hot delicious and promptly served. The staff doted over me and got what ever I needed. Highly recommend them.

I just had a party catered by T&L this weekend, and it was great. The food and the service were stellar! We had Denise as our server, and she set things up in a timely manner, and was there for anything we needed. She was very nice, and accommodating. Everyone there said how delicious the food was, and there was plenty of it for sure! Thank you to T&L for being so easy to work with from beginning to end. Also, the prices were really reasonable, which honestly, made me a touch nervous at first.

Just because other quotes I was getting were so much higher. But, it all worked out and everything was great. I can see why they were highly recommended from Facebook members.

I've used T&L catering several times already. They catered my kids birthday parties, several Super Bowl parties at my house, Thanksgivings, Christmases, and New Years! It's pretty obvious I don't cook much! Hahaha! But this catering service makes it so easy to host a party without all the work and stress. They are always prompt and the food is always delicious, that's why I keep going back to them.

This is my 5-6th time using T&L for an event. This time it was thanksgiving and I was a little apprehensive about pre cooked food and turkey. I thought it would dry out during reheat. NOPE! The food heating directions were easy and in 2 hours it was hot and juicy. Sides were excellent! There's a reason we keep going back to T&L. I'm guaranteed good food and good service at a reasonable price!

We had an awesome experience with T&L catering. We hired them for our sons baptism party. They have an extensive menu to choose from as well as offer a tasting so you know what you are getting. There portions are perfect, you can tell they are pros at this. They arrived early and setup everything so the food was ready and hot when our guest arrived.

We had a few people from our party asking us where we got the food from. On top of having delicious food, they are extremely friendly. Top notch customer service. Thank you T&L!

T&L catered our company picnic and they did an awesome job. They delivered all the tables and chairs the day before. Came early to set up and start grilling. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend them to everybody.

Just hosted a 50th Anniversary party this Saturday Jan 27th. What can I say! From the service to the food, to the hall, EVERYTHING was absolutely PERFECT! I ordering my whole thanksgiving dinner from T&L Catering this year. I was very skeptical about it at first but I spoke to a few people who have catered from them so I went with it. A day later I have to say it's the best decision other then getting married I have ever made. Everything I purchased was beyond amazing. For what I paid for everything I feel as if I robbed them.

I now will order my thanksgiving dinner from them every year now. I can't wait to get catered other food from this location. I give them a A+ on taste, presentation and service. Great job Ken

T&L catered in my home for my sons Confirmation. This is the 4th or 5th time I've used them and every time exceeds my expectations. Tom is so easy to work with. The menu voices have something for everyone (and I have some picky people). Tom confirmed everything the day before and even gave me a call the day of to give me an update on delivery time. Chris arrived as expected and set everything up.

He had everything, including water for the stereo trays, which left me free to do last minute things before my guests arrived. I highly recommend T&L - I won't use anyone else!

Writing this from wedding they're catering. Some of the worst food ever. The hors d'oeuvres we blah! Potato pancakes were just squished tater tots, coconut shrimp bland. Dinner-Sauce tasted like jarred sauce. The filet mignon has the worst marinade on it. Everyone at table spit it out. Tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. Best thing is the bread. Lots of full plates thrown out. Do not recommend!

They went above and beyond our expectation. The crew was really accommodating of our requests.

We used T&L for 3 summer housewarming BBQs and we couldn't be happier with the food or service! This was our first time doing at-home catering, and we took a leap of faith as we weren't able to make time to try samples. We got so lucky! Each time, they were responsive and delivered the food right on time. Everyone raved about the food, and they worked with us to accommodate different requests each time.

Even when they forgot a tray of chicken nuggets at the last party, they sent someone out right away, and it was ready in time for our guests' arrival. A great experience!
