Wende's ability behind the lens is amazing, and the pictures from our day told a love story that only she could capture. She made us, and our guests, feel special and created beautiful memories that we will have forever. We have since had her photograph our baby and family, and will continue to use her to document our life.

I first saw Wende's photos and albums at a bridal show in Grand Rapids, MI. I was so struck by the photo quality and gorgeous layouts of the albums that she was the clear choice for our son's engagement and wedding photography. Wende worked with the couple very closely to know them and what they wanted captured by the camera. The photos were a beautiful celebration of their day. Wende has an eye for detail, whimsy, romance, and beauty. No matter what the style, she finds a way to capture the uniqueness of the couple and the bond between them. I would HIGHY recommend Wende.

Clark Art is the best photography studio around. Wende Clark is seriously a very talented and wonderful person. She captures the emotion and reality of the moment. She is easy to get to know, and takes the stress out of getting pictures taken, making it a fun experience. I would give 10+ stars if I could. Wende is a master of posing and staging photos, particularly with our large and rowdy family! She is flexible and creative in finding the best set up, and her composition and skill are amazing. The photos she takes are nearly perfect straight out of the camera. If you want people, events, and emotions captured perfectly and professionally, Wende is the photographer for you.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would! I found Wende at a GR Bridal Show, I liked her photography and package deal so I booked her. She was 1 hour late for our Engagement session, she gave us no direction so we had to do all the work, she made us carry all her equipment, and we ended up waiting MONTHS for the pictures to go online, and they looked NOTHING like the ones she showed us before we booked.
She just did them all black and white, which we never asked for, and all of the pictures looked awkward because she gave us no direction. Things happened and we ended up cancelling the wedding, and she said she would send out the refund immediately; I received all of the refunds for every other part of the wedding within 2 weeks. It had been 6 months and I'm STILL sending her emails to get my refund and she keeps blaming her assistant for not sending the check. I told her I would take her to court if she didn't give me my refund immediately. I'm still waiting for a response.

Stunning wedding photo shoot. Hired Wende of Clark Art Studio to shoot out October wedding. Drawing us in with two all day photographers for a single terrific price, we wanted someone there to catch every monent. In the months previous to the wedding, Wende messaged us and met with us at our venue to ensure she knew what we desired and how to shoot the area. Wende is extremely detail oriented, making the most of posed moments and catching some incredible candid shots.
Our wedding photography turned out beautiful. The only thing my husband and I could have asked for was to recieve our photos sooner. However, multiple holidays followed our wedding and the quality was well worth the wait. Recomending Clark Art Studio, thank you Wende and staff!

Clark Art were the photographers for my wedding last summer, and I couldn't have been happier with my pictures. Wende, the main photographer, and her second photographer Emma, were really sweet and fun to work with, and they were really patient with my family and all the kids we had at our wedding who were pretty high maintenance all day. They came to the salon and took fun pictures of me and my bridesmaids getting ready, then went to the best man's house to take pictures of all the guys, then we all met at a park for the "first view" before the wedding and they had lots of creative ideas for pictures, some really romantic ones.
After the wedding, we must have stopped at five different places for wedding party pictures, Wende and Emma were up for about anything we wanted to do! They stayed later at the reception than I figured they would, and took tons of dancing pictures and group shots of my friends that were pretty crazy. We didn't get our pictures back for a while, it took longer than we thought it would.
But when we finally got our cd, we could tell they had done a lot of cool stuff to the pictures, like making the flowers in color and the rest in black and white, and they photo-shopped out signs that were in the background in one of my favorite pictures that wouldn't have been as good if they hadn't done that. Plus we were supposed to get an edit of 400 pictures but they gave us like 600 pictures to choose from for our album, which will be really hard to decide because we love them all.
