We had our wedding at the Raisin River Room on May 28th. The grounds and venue were fantastic. Our family and friends loved the beauty, uniqueness, and history of the property. The grounds are perfect for truly beautiful photos for photographers and guests alike. The bartender and catering staff provided excellent service. Weller's overall is an excellent value, we absolutely loved how they are set up for the bartending services to allow for a completely customized bar menu, and you get to take the leftover alcohol home - WOW!
The porch on the Raisin River Room was a huge hit, our guests loved having the extra outdoor space to spread out to. Overall a beautiful wedding day and we highly recommend! My actual rating would be closer to 4.5 stars, this venue is worth the extra work but has some quirks you have to plan for like shuttles to a hotel, staging for the ceremony, and not having an on-site place to get ready.
I would also say getting a good outside day-of wedding coordinator is basically a requirement for this venue. Saturday weddings only have a few hours in the afternoon to decorate and set up and I promise you want a professional for that to get it done and advocate for your vision and not put that stress on your friends or family. The food was great but I did provide a detailed emphasis to Weller's that they should find a way to do food tastings. There were a couple menu items that I think would have been worth upgrading to something better for an extra charge like the breaded chicken and the tomato basil pasta.

My husband and I got married at Wellers in the Carriage House in May of 2022 and it was the most magical day! This venue is absolutely gorgeous and well-kept. We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue, food and service. Everything was truly perfect; this is such a charming and unique property and the photos here are STUNNING. The entire planning process went smoothly too and Wellers was very responsive to all emails and answered our many, many questions - special shout-out to Kelly! Highly highly recommend this venue - you won't be disappointed.

My fiancee and I toured this venue hoping to have our wedding here. In the contract they wanted us to sign, they had a clause that if the wedding gets cancelled because of government mandates because of the pandemic, they'd be able to keep the money we'd payed to have the wedding even though the event wouldn't occur. They wanted to charge $45.95 per person for food and would not let us cater with outside vendors.
They refused multiple requests for a tasting. The contract is full of "nickel-and-dime" clauses such as charging $50 if a patron vomits, $50 if they have to move furniture back into place, and that florists are not allowed to assemble arrangements on-site. Ultimately, we decided that this venue is not for us. If you find yourself in a similar position to what we did, read the contract carefully and bring up your concerns with the Weller's staff. They're good about responding to you, but if they won't budge and accommodate your concerns, that's a red flag that you're probably better off finding a different venue.

Attended a wedding here recently and had a wonderful time. The banquet room and grounds are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was stellar. I've been here several times over the past 30 years. Several other weddings, and once for a company Christmas party. It has always been lovely. Highly recommend for any large event!

My wife and I got married here in early October. When the day came, everything was perfect. The grounds outside were beautiful and everything inside was perfect. Seeing the venue inside during the day is one thing, seeing it at night is another. It really has a nice ambiance to it and everyone loved it. The food: We are still hearing from family and friends how good the food was.
I honestly didn't even know what was for dinner until it was in front of me. Andreea and Wendy did an absolutely fantastic job on that! We kept reading reviews on how good the food was prior to our wedding and were looking forward to that. It certainly lived up to the hype, the prime rib was top notch. The only reason I'm not convinced of 5 stars is this simple reason.
My MIL told me that when she went to set up inside hours before the wedding, there was nobody around. Nobody to get the extra things out that we paid for like table settings stuff, orchestrate where they wanted other items to go that needed to be refrigerated. etc. I guess she had to call multiple times to get someone there. I was not there for this to attest to what actually happened but I know she wasn't happy.
My MIL I guess lost her mind when she was told by staff that it would be another $125 to put donuts out on the trays after dinner. Again, I didn't see this or hear about it until days after. All in all, this is a great venue! Wendy was a pleasure to work with and Andreea nailed the little details. We would undoubtedly recommend this place.
