Arnaldo's Banquet Center

We just had our daughters wedding reception this weekend at Arnoldo's. I can not say enough good things. Everything was wonderful! Food was amazing and the venue is absolutely beautiful! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our daughters wedding was delayed due to covid and when we finally got to have her special day everything just went smoothly and seamlessly. I would recommend Arnoldo's to anyone looking to book a venue.

Very nice and clean location. Very friendly and patient. I plan on having my wedding here in September. I will update my review when I have my wedding but I have high expectations for this place. Very affordable as well. Again, will update.

Actually at a wedding reception as we speak. I have to admit, this part of the venue is smaller but very spacious at the same time. Pics attached will show which side we are on if you decide to have some event here. Decor I think is awesome.food was absolutely delicious.and the total flow of the event was absolutely great. I would say if you are having a wedding reception or party of a 100 people, this place is absolutely perfect.

Food was good. Hard to hear with the mic. Very crammed in for our small banquet. Wish they had moved the food line over a bit and moved the tables out more.

Beautiful water disaster amd great banquet food far far far superior to Crystal garden and the bar tender Sue is top tier.

I've been to this location for a few wedding receptions and it's always been a very good experience. My only complaint is the bar tenders seem to make the drinks rather weak but I imagine that is to help keep the crowd from getting rowdy. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice venue to have an event at.

We had our wedding at Arnaldo's in 2005, we looked at Grecian Center, Crystal Gardens, and a few other well known banquet halls at the time before making our decision. We were back at Arnaldo's last night Nov 17th for our daughters Volleyball banquet, and as far as I'm concerned, it is still the nicest and most elegant hall in the downriver area. I still love the lights on the ceiling representing the stars and the newly added bubbling water displays, not to mention, the food was on point.

Second year in a row we have been here for a volleyball banquet and this place isn't that bad. I have been here for multiple things in the past and they haven't changed. Not sure of the price to rent the facility but I would definitely consider them.

The food was good. The management was absolutely terrible. They are unwilling to make reasonable accomodations. Our party size had to shrink due to COVID, they were unwilling to change our head count to charge for all expected guests, even though they would not be making the same amount of food. We were not allowed to take leftover home but had to pay for food not purchased or made.

We communicated the change in size a couple months in advance. When setting up, we were yelled at and told "would you treat your house like this?!" while carrying boxes in because we propped the door open. When we asked for another table for our displays their attitude was hostile.

We were at Arnaldo's for a Republican Constitution dinner and we had a lovely time. The food was good (City Chicken tenders and roast red potatoes- yummy) and the servers were excellent!

I would not host an even here again. The rating is mostly for the food. The food is really delicious. The staff were rude and not accommodating. They seem to be very focused on squeezing every dollar out of their customers. At times, it felt like they were taking advantage of us because we were locked into the contract. The decor is VERY dated. As we were bringing things in for set up we were talked down to buy the owner John as he said "Is this how you would act in your own house?" That was very rude, especially since it was during set up when we were bringing boxes in.

My shower was booked here pre-covid and they were not very accommodating due to the changes that needed to be made because of the pandemic. We requested colors for the lights, they pride themselves on the custom lights, and they were supposed to be all pink but also had weird green color in them, it looked like a glitch. It ended up being a nice event, but this was mostly due to the work we put in, not the help of the staff.

We had a graduation party here! Staff was fabulous, the room is beautiful. no complaints. food is delicious lights are Cool

This review is solely about the food and customer service. The food is excellent, but that's where the positive experience ends. In order to reserve the space, the owner requires a minimum charge of 70 guests--fair. We only had approximately 35 guests, so we were already overpaying per plate. In order to offset this, we were satisfied thinking we could bring leftovers home with us. Welp, that didn't happen. we were not told in advance that "food isn't allowed to leave the building" (which, by the way, is an interesting statement considering the scrolling banner on the outside of the building advertises takeout).

The servers also did not provide any advance warning that they were taking the food away (for good); had they, we could have gotten an extra plate to snack on. What's more is that they "assured" us that a police officer comes by nightly to pick up the leftovers to bring them to a homeless shelter, but it turns out the officer is the owners brother, so draw your own conclusions there.

Another excuse for the "no food can leave" statement was "because COVID regulations, " but again, after a simple Google search, it turns out it's 100% up to the owner to make this call at this stage of reopening, and it is NOT because of rules outside of their control. Finally, regarding service and COVID (an excuse that they used in their favor), when the banquet began, the owner turned on the air conditioning and closed the door to the venue.

We requested the door stay open, even if that meant we turned off the A/C (because we preferred fresh air and ventilation as we're still in the midst of a pandemic), to which we were told that we couldn't because flies might come in. I understand it has probably been a rough year for the owners, but customer service, transparent communication, and flexibility can go a long way.

This place deserves 10 plus stars. When my daughter got engaged this is the place she wanted. Her wedding had been postponed twice due to covid. John, Mario, and Robin were the greatest people to work with. They treated us like family. They have the best food in the downriver area. She also had her wedding shower there. You won't be sorry they know what they are doing. Family owned with the best food. Lots of complements. One happy bride and groom thank you Arnaldo's

Attended family wedding. Nice room and Decent food but staff was rude and pushy and taking plates off our table before we were finished! Then my sister took a couple of cupcakes from cake table when they made them available and a staff member grabbed them back and yelled at her! Staff member ended up apologizing but too little too late! Also had an issue with our final bar tab so buyer beware. Won't be having any more parties there! Nope Nope Nope.

This is where my wedding was held. Almost everyone that attended complimented me on the food. They said is was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The options we had were the chef carved tenderloin of beef, panko encrusted cod, and the herb roasted rosemary chicken. Service is top notch and the decor was both tasteful and beautiful. We had a Star Wars/Super hero theme which they helped us create.

Star wars movies played behind the bar all night. The second time we came here was for my baby shower and again everyone raved about the food. They are extremely organized and every detail is thought of. We also come here every year for Mother's day. The brunch is out of this world. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great event venue. You wont be disappointed.

Recently attended a baby shower here. It was a very spacious room. I would say it could easily fit 70 people with plenty of room. The staff was present. The food was delicious. Would totally recommend for any type of shower event!

Just had my daughter's baby shower on February 9, 2019. The venue is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious. The management was very rude to us. It was freezing cold in the banquet room. We repeatedly asked them to turn up the heat, they said it was our fault because we had the door open, not true. Our guests were arriving. The shower started at 11:00 a.m. and they did not put any beverages out until noon.

We asked them to set it up sooner, we were ignored. We specifically asked them not to cut a certain cake. They took it and did it anyways. I went into the kitchen and told the manager he was not supposed to cut it and his response was, "well, it's too late now". My daughter was in tears. Some of my family members left early because they were so cold. Both of my daughters are engaged and we considered using this facility but after the way we were treated, we will not use them again. Beware.

Arnaldo's is our go to for events. My husband and I had our wedding shower, wedding reception, and baby shower here. The facility is spotless and the staff is great. The food is homemade and always outstanding. Try the homemade ravioli. You won't be disappointed.

We just had our wedding at Arnaldo's Banquet Center this weekend. I couldn't be happier! Everything was just the way I wanted it! We received so many compliments on the decor and the food! I was really sad the bridal party missed the appetizers because I heard they were delicious too! We had the crusted chicken, mostaccioli, carved beef, herb potatoes, ham, and veggies and everything was soo soo good!

They also made churros for us too which were delicious. The pizza at the end of the evening was great too! The bartenders were fabulous, interacting with our guests and super friendly. There is nothing I would change. If we are ever to have another big event I can guarantee it will be at Arnaldo's!

We had our wedding reception here on May 19th 2012. What an amazing venue. We booked the main ballroom. Which the moment I set foot in I knew that's where I wanted to have our reception. There is nothing more beautiful downriver. The food was amazing. It was so hard to narrow it down on what to have. The staff was friendly and efficient. They made our whole night g by with ease.

People talked about the food for months! I also believe their prices were less then most of the other places we had visited. I'm sad my wedding day is over, but I sure hope to visit Arnoldo's again soon!

Not only was the food amazing (gotta have the vodka sauce with penne!), the service was even better. They constantly offered more food and asked if everyone was good. The bartenders were amazing and if I was even near the bar, would make me a drink and have it waiting for me. The servers cleared plates in a very timely fashion. Just from top to bottom, it was the best service AND food I have ever had combined in one place. Thanks Arnaldo's!

We had my sons soccer banquet here. A lot of the schools use this facility for events and catering. The food is basic banquet food. We had a Garden salad, Mashed potatoes, green beans, chicken, pasta, and meatballs. The service is good and the location is really nice. This was not my first event here so I knew what to expect.

Food: Excellent. You would be hard-pressed to find food this great at a similar price from other venues. Luna reception Hall itself: Again, great. Perfectly-sized for smaller events and weddings (most places seem to have a 100-person minimum for weddings). Very clean. Setup according to our wishes. Robin (who was the one I dealt with most at the time): Also great.

Very friendly, polite, cordial, aware. Covered all of the bases. The owners: I interacted with one of them on two occasions: the morning of my wedding and that night. That morning, he snapped at one of my family members for politely asking a question, then took off to another room. That night, he walked around looking angry and muttering to himself. This is why I'm giving 4 stars. If you want my business, act like a professional.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here. We were in the smaller banquet hall, Luna. The staff was amazing from the booking process all the way to the time of the reception. The food was amazing. We heard more times then not from our guests on how amazing the food was. I also am a DJ. I've played numerous times at Arnaldo's, while I've never had a bad experience, being on the other side of the DJ booth and having such a great experience is why I recommend Arnaldo's to everyone.

I came to a wedding here and it was a great venue to be at. The parking situation is without a headache, the bathrooms are up to date and clean, and the ballrooms are spacious yet intimate. If I were planning an event in the area, I would look here for certain. The staff is very pleasant to speak with as well and we all know how important that is. A fine establishment!
