Inn At Burwell Place

A weekend stay was not long enough. Out stay The Inn at Burwell Place was great. Restaurants and shops are a short walk down the road. We felt like were staying with family.

The Inn is beautiful and the innkeeper Cindy Lou could not have been more helpful. Three of us stayed in one of the larger suites which was perfect. The breakfast basket left outside the door in the morning contained fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins along with a snack for later. We look forward to our next visit with more time on the fabulous front porch.

What an amazing place! The people are even better! I loved my stay here. This is like a home away from home. Cindy Lou is an amazing person. She went above and beyond every chance she could. I was so happy I picked this place. It is so warm and inviting here. It seems like there is nothing that was not thought about here. I was left wanting for nothing. Cindy Lou left breakfast baskets that had delicious muffins in the morning, as well as some snacks too.

They even had snacks in the room, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and water. All the rooms are beautiful. The suites are amazing. Well worth the money you pay for them. The bed was amazing. This place really left no stone un-turned on service. I will come back here.

This is the third time I've been lucky enough to stay at the Inn and each time has been comfortable and easy! Cindi Lou makes checking in and out a breeze and it available when needed. The house is beautiful and the baked treats that magically appear at your door just put the experience over the top. Definitely will be back!

Omg. I chose this place for my 5 day art workshop in Salem, Va. I based my decision to stay here from the on line reviews and my past experiences in othet B&B. This is a very classy place, comfortable in everyway, our group had the whole upstairs, we didn't even lock our doors, the entire time there. I loved their espresso machine in the hallway on top of the room coffee maker. Clean!

They provided the rpbes, indoor slippers and all of us especially enjoyed the fine quality furnishings, bathroom fixtures, ect. The place was definately a home away from home! And the owner, Cindy Lou! My, you read the reviews of her being the nicesest inn keeper. But, she was gracious, warm, kind, a giver, a good friend from the minute we said hello untill our goodbyes, several days later!

You get far more here for your money than you would at any of the hotels nearby. No comparison! Do it, enjoy your stay. If you are a piano player, you can even entertain yourself with the baby grand, downstairs. Have a great stay!

Wonderfully quaint experience at Burwell Place! The rooms are designed with a touch of historic ambience combined with modern amenities alongside the warmth provided by Cindi Lou the host. She will treat you like family and guide you along your journey in the Roanoke/Salem area. Highly recommend~

The best place to stay in the area. Gorgeous and comfy rooms, fabulous inside and outside gathering space, and warm and friendly hosts. Pricing is very fair.

Very quiet and comfortable bed and breakfast. The host was very informative and courteous. We only stayed one night, but look forward to staying there again. The do not offer a big breakfast, but do provide juices, fruit, yogurt, and fresh baked goods in a basket for each guest room.

What a beautiful home and accommodations. We stayed one night in room 4. The proprietors, Cindi Lou and Mark, have decorated the home elegantly. The extras found in the room, you will need to see for yourself, were wonderful. Downtown eateries and shopping were plenty. We will return, did I tell you about the room rates, we should of stayed here earlier in the week and made our day trips start here each morning.
