Bernard's Landing Resort & Conference Center

This was our second time staying here, this time for a full week and we highly enjoyed our time. The units are small but very functional and we never found ourselves tripping over each other. The units do seem to have a small bug issue but it seemed worse after it would rain but nothing a tiny jig didn't take care of (we were in a bottom floor unit so being at ground level might have aggravated that).

The unit we were in could use some minor attention to detail - only 1 burner worked on the grill, shower in one of the bathrooms drained very slow, towels smelled lightly of cigarette smoke but we used the machines to clean the towels and we were right as rain. Indoor pool was wonderful and the small pool outside our unit was fantastic in the evening. Enjoyed the daily deer and the peace and beauty of Smith Mountain Lake.

Bernard's Landing is a beautiful place to land for a relaxing, comfortable, spontaneous vacation! My husband and I decided to take a few days to do just that and couldn't be more happy that we did. Carol, with whom I had dealt with a couple yrs before, answered my email within a few hours of reaching out.although she was out of town on vacation, she took the time to direct us to someone who could help us get a place to stay last minute.this is the the second time she's gone the extra mile to make sure we had a place to stay, an amazing place at that.our condo was gorgeous.we had a stunning view of the mountains and the lake and couldn't be happier with our stay.our 2nd time staying here and it doesn't disappoint! This was, and always will be, our go to place to make memories at Smith Mountain Lake! I highly recommend, thank you again Carol!

EJ Good day, Thia is a beautiful place to visit. Very quiet, clean and peaceful to just relax and inhale the fresh air. My girl friends and I came down for a girls weekend holiday getaway. We had a wonderful time staying in the condo! Which I highly recommend because it is so clean and comfy inside. We had a gorgeous panoramic view of the lake. Absolutely breath taking.

I would definitely visit here again. The only problem we ran into was they didnt tell us that the indoor pool was under construction when we called and made reservation. They can also give some details of where to put the trash. Other wise, perfect!

Great experience with lots to do right on the resort. Phenomenal views and the lake was great.

Great location at Smith Mountain Lake so my wife and I chose this location to have our wedding in 2004. The location is very well kept up with nice landscaping and a beautiful view of the lake, especially at sunset. My wife and I visited Bernard's Landing recently again for purposes of revisiting some great memories of our wedding there.

My family rents a condo here every year. The facilities are extraordinary. Two outdoor and one indoor pool, steam and dry sauna, tennis, large beach area. The neighbors are always friendly and they enjoy having visitors come and enjoy the lake. The management is very nice. They were understanding when my 3 year old broke a window slat. No extra charge. They have boat rentals stocked with new boats every year. A great lake to visit and an amazing place to stay on the lake!

We had a wonderful evening at Bernard's! Celebrating our friends anniversary, we docked our boat at the restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Started with apps, ahi tuna with avocado salad and chips sprinkled with old bay seasoning. The Cheese Board was not my favorite, came with only 2 cheeses and some bread. We all loved our entrees and the wine list was amazing! I will definitely go back!
