Services
Glencliff Manor is an early 20th century manor house which has been carefully renovated to capture the original elegance. The Manor house was built in 1927 by Teresa's Great Grandfather. The property that it sits on has been in the family since 1757. The manor is surrounded by towering 300 year old oaks, magnolias, boxwoods, and meticulously manicured gardens and grounds.
The staff at Glencliff Manor and Chef Dave Ellis of Dish would be happy to work with you one-on-one to create the perfect menu for your event. We would be excited to help you recreate a favorite meal from your travels or use a family recipe to make your event even more personalized. If you would like to do a tasting just let us know and we will gladly arrange it for you.

I had my wedding at Glencliff and it was perfect! The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and my photos are amazing. Teresa handled everything from the food to the flowers. I was able to enjoy my wedding instead of having to set up or worry about the details. My guest loved it as well. I would recommend Glencliff to any bride in the central Virginia area.

We could not be more pleased with how our daughter's wedding turned out! From the first tour/planning meeting, throughout the process, to the final clean up after the "big day", everyone at Glencliff Manor was top notch. The food was fantastic, the flowers were beautiful, and the staff was perfectly attentive. I can't say enough good things about the "Micro Luxury" all-inclusive package and it being stress-free for us.

There are truly no words to describe how seamless, stunning, and fairytale-like our wedding was at Glencliff Manor. Teresa and the team at Glencliff provided us with our dream wedding amongst the uncertainty of COVID-19. Teresa has compassion and an innate love for weddings and she was able to move mountains in order for Shea and I to have the wedding of our dreams!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful and intricately designed ceremony and reception for our wedding guests. We 100% recommend having your wedding or special event at Glencliff because they truly care about YOU and your wants/needs. Theresa, and her staff are warm, cheerful and the venue was spectacular with the spring flowers! It reminded me of an English Garden or great Southern Plantation with even the trees adorned with spanish moss! The house DJ also had a terrific report with the guests. Loved the hen and peacock house on site- very well kept.

Teresa and the team at Glencliff are incredible! She was extremely reliable, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. She has an absurd amount of experience and knows exactly how to focus on the couple so that it is a stress free day! The grounds are beautiful- they put a ton of work into making sure flowers are blooming, everything is clean, and the set up is exactly how you like it.
They maintain tons of lights that make the venue look like something out of a fairy tale. Teresa went out of her way to help me during the planning process so that everything was prepared and she took care to communicate all of the details with us so it was all taken care of. She solved countless crises (the cake baker backing out last minute, the rehearsal dinner being double booked, our outside caterer being non responsive, I could go on.) without ever adding stress to my plate and with always taking care of the problem in a quick and professional manner.
Everything is also priced very reasonably- I honestly would have been willing to pay double what we did for the great service we got and the beauty of the venue. Also, we received massive discounts from other vendors because they love working at Glencliff so much. The bouquets were also incredible! Teresa included extra flowers and designed the bouquets to fit in perfectly with the rest of the day. She is clearly an expert in her trade. Everything was fabulous and I'm so thankful we chose Glencliff for our wedding!

Glencliff Manor is a beautiful location to host a wedding/reception! Our daughter got married in June in Lynchburg and both the bride and groom's family were from out-of-state. The grounds are breath-taking! (Many of our wedding guests were very complimentary on how beautiful Glencliff was!) Teresa was wonderful to work with - she handled so many details for us that would have been difficult to take care of long distance.
Although we did not use all of her "team" for one-stop-shopping, it was nice to have that option. We had our wedding ceremony at a nearby church and Teresa was there for the rehearsal and service, making sure everything came off without a hitch! Teresa did a beautiful job with the bridal party flowers, the poolside spread of hors de oeurves, and a delicious dinner.
