Whitney did a fantastic job helping me find and purchase my wedding gown! I had a wonderful experience shopping here and they made me feel so special. This shop has a beautiful collection of dresses and Whitney made sure I was within my budget! Couldn't be happier!

Prior to our appointment, I was so very nervous, and was feeling overwhelmed at the thought of not only finding my perfect wedding dress, but also finding one in my bidget. A wedding is an important event, every bride wants to feel and look gorgeous on their big day. If you go to House of The Bride, you will feel such a heavy weight off your shoulders!

They're absolutely amazing. Absolutely Recommend! Making a private appointment was quick and easy. I love that they were able to accommodate not only Myself, but also all FIVE of my Bridesmaids, My Mama, as well as My Aunt. Finding the perfect Wedding Dress is a very important, as well a very memorable moment and I thank House Of The Bride for allowing them to be a part of this big moment.

Once we all arrived and went in, Whitney did her absolute best to help me find my perfect dress. She asked what style I was thinking about, my budget, and was very receptive of my wishes. I love that there was absolutely no pressure to purchase, no pressure to go above my budget, there also was no pressure on my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses either, and there was no rush at all!

As a matter of fact, I was encouraged to take my time! I could go on, and on about everything I loved while I was there, but I won't Lol I will end my review on this note, I am not a dress girl, or a girlie girl by no means, however, I felt like a Queen in my Wedding Dress, and Whitney has such a calling for helping brides find that perfect dress for them that She knew, she knew as soon as I seen myself in the mirror, before I ever walked out to show my group! I HIGHLY recommend The House of the Bride! Meghan and Whitney worked so hard to help me find the perfect wedding dress and accessories for my wedding day! The women are all so sweet, kind, patient, and supportive that it really makes for a wonderful and memorable experience! Not to mention they have the most beautiful wedding dresses and accessories!

Bethany made me feel extremely special! Before I even set foot in the door I was able to give them examples of things I like so when I arrived they had dresses pulled for me. They made the whole process fun and enjoyable!

Lexi was very professional and friendly. Although I was not able to walk away with with my wedding gown, I would recommend this shop to any bride. I called and spoke with Whitney before arriving and she pulled the perfect gown based on a 10 min consultation of a beach themed wedding.

Incredibly elegant salon with a variety of beautiful gowns. Whitney was incredible to work with! She listened to my vision of our wedding day and helped me find a dress that was perfect for me. The designer took a little longer to get the dress delivered (7.5 months after ordering, instead of the expected 4-6 months) but Whitney kept me posted throughout that time period. She also helped me pick out a custom veil that was the show-stopper of all of our wedding photos! I can't recommend House of the Bride and Whitney enough!

If you're looking for a classic and elegant style, look no further than House of Bride! I ordered my dress, veil and bridesmaid gowns from HOB. I had the opportunity to work with Alexis, Bethany, Whitney and Meghan. I cannot say enough on how kind all four of them are. I was so self conscious and stressed (due to Covid) throughout the entire engagement and the HOB staff all made me feel like the most special and beautiful bride.

There was definitely some hickups during COVID but HOB still managed to keep this stressed bride calm and beyond made up for it. My bridesmaids and I looked and felt absolutely fabulous wedding day. I have even been present with three of my best friends when they said yes at HOB and they all also had wonderful experiences. I would chose HOB over and over again! Thank you House of Bride!

I absolutely, HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop. We were greeted with smiles and warmth. My sister said YES TO THE DRESS! I will definitely go here for my wedding vow renewal. Don't judge a book by its cover. Love them!

My fiance chose House Of The Bride due to the lack of wedding dress shops in Augusta and we had quite the experience. She went in for a fitting and found the dress she wanted. After ordering the dress in a smaller size, it was extremely difficult to get in touch with them (we both work weekdays during their hours of operation so we couldn't meet face to face).

We eventually had to resort to email after a few weeks of listening to their voice mail, but still no response. I ultimately decided to go in during my lunch break to ask them in person. When I walked in, I was immediately met with a lot of raised eyebrows and a snooty sounding "Yes?" After explaining that I was trying to see if my fiance's dress was in, the employee went to the back and returned with her manager.

I explained the situation again and the manager stated, "Well let me check, it will take a second because I have to check every dress in the store to see." (I didn't really know how to respond to that, other than saying, "Okay, thank you."). She returned a minute or two later and said that it was there but only my fiance could come pick it up and I was more or less shown the door after that.

In all, I am giving House Of The Bride two stars because while their wedding dress selection is great and my fiance found one she liked, the customer service was very unpleasant. I understand that this isn't the typical place for a male to walk into, that is no excuse to not greet someone and make them feel like a burden for coming in. Also, the lack of communication is difficult to deal with, and you're better off going in and speaking with them in person. I do get the feeling however that because they are the only bridal dress shop in the area (besides David's Bridal) it's just kind of a "deal with it" situation.

I had a poor experience here. I bought my dress and a month later I emailed every 2 weeks 3 times asking if my dress ever came in. I emailed the contact page on the website, submitted a contact request, and emailed the sales associate I worked with. Nobody responded. I understand that the dress may take a while to ship, but I was just asking for an approximate arrival date.

I even called the office and the phone would just ring and nobody would pick up. I double checked the office times and called at times like 10am or 3pm to avoid lunch or closing. My husband ended up having to go in and ask since I work during their hours. They were very rude to him and told him the dress was there and I needed to pick it up. There was no way for me to know that.

That day they texted me and told me about a seamstress with no information about my dress even being in. I asked if I can pick it up and they told me to make an appointment. To pick up my dress! They finally decided to give it to me 3 weeks before my wedding. Leaving hardly any time to get alterations. Not helpful at all. I came here because I like to shop local and didn't want to get a dress through David's Bridal but I might as well have after all of that. Bad customer service. Impossible to get a hold of. If you want to add stress to your wedding then this is the place for you.

The experience I had here was amazing! The lady that was helping us, Whitney, was amazing. She gave us all her input on how to make the dress the best it could be for the bride. Everyone at the store was very welcoming and helpful. She gave us input on flower crowns and what she thinks might be the best. Also helped tremendously when it came to the alterations of the dress and making it just the way the bride wanted it! She was very helpful. Such a cute little store with great priced dressing and bridesmaids dress!

I had a really great experience here, even though I did not find my dress at this store. They had a good selection and great prices. The sales associate told me that the most important thing to them was that I find my dream wedding dress, even if it wasn't at House of The Bride which I really appreciated. Had I not found my DREAM dress elsewhere I would have been back for a dress here.

Meghan and Whitney are so wonderful! They always are extremely helpful and just the absolute sweetest. They have so many beautiful dress styles to choose from and such patience when you're describing what you're looking for. The best dress shopping experience!

When shopping for your wedding dress, it is so important to be around experts who really care about their clients, products, and service. I had an incredible experience her twice, once for my wedding dress and once for my mother who purchased her wedding dress for her 25th wedding anniversary renewal. They are so kind and friendly and genuinely get excited when you find the right dress. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a dress for their special day! Whitney was wonderful!

This bridal shop is amazing! The girls are so sweet and helpful throughout your entire bridal experience! I too thought that I would not have luck finding my dress at my budget but I was so wrong! After my appointment with them I also had a dress appointment with Davids bridal and lets just say, I left Davids bridal after trying on two dresses! No service compared to the experience House of the Bride gives you!

If I could give this place less stars I would. The lady who owns the place is extremely rude to her customers and staff. She seems to be a miserable human being. My wife wanted to have a very expensive evening gown altered and was told by the owner, she couldn't "make any money off her allowing her seamstress to alter her dress." We live in the same neighborhood and prefer to keep our dollars local however I will drive to Evans before I give this store a dime. She also was very snotty to the exterminator as we were leaving. Sounded like she doesn't pay her bills. Buyer beware.

We purchased my dress here in June 2010 and they were very helpful. I dont think they have the largest selection, and their dresses are on the pricey side, but I ended up buying a sample. We also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from here and the girls were easy to work with. I did make an appointment and when we were there (a weekday) we were the only ones in the store besides the salespeople.

They always say that something has to go wrong.for me it was a dress disaster. With 3 weeks till my wedding I found myself without a dress and in a new city. Luckily I stumbled upon House of the Bride and they went above and beyond the norm to help me get the dress I wanted.without even making a commission! They have a gorgeous selection of dresses and superb costumer service. I would recommend this bridal salon to anyone a million times! The owner and everyone else who works there are just wonderful and I will be forever grateful to them all!
