They are extremely personable and professional! There hours our great to pick up and return suits! Absolutely loved my experience with them!

Always exceptional service. I have been using DC Tux for over 30 years and they have never disappointed. Staff is extremely customer focused, friendly and do everything in their power to do things the right watt. I will never go anywhere else.

Fast and easy service. They helped me pick out the right tuxedo with plenty of leeway on options. They offered a wide array of selection, and their assistance and service were second to none. Highly recommend for prom and other formal events.

First off they are very kind and friendly there. Another big thing was the place was cheaper than most tux shops and they don't order stuff because they hold there stock there. It helped me get a tux for about 192 with tax. This was also last minute 2 days before prom.

Very friendly and accommodating. The Tux was the look my son was going for. Two criticisms I would have is; one the pants were too big tighten a much as the could be ( the tux shop personal did supply me with suspenders) and second the shoes felt new and were painful to wear all night. Luckily I had the same color shoes and was able to change. There were other guys that also had to change. Visiting the store for measurement was easy and professional. However, picking up the Tux was a very arduous task as there weren't enough dressing rooms or people to help with the fitting. What should have been a 15 min. task took almost an hour. Other than these issues we all were very pleased with the efforts of DC Tux.

Update: The owner reached out to me right away after writing my previous review and offered to have a private fitting to help remedy any concerns about being rushed and not thorough. The customer service was incredible. I highly recommend DC Tux, because should you have an issue and you express it, they will quickly try their best to make it right. Horrible service!

I took my son into rent a tuxedo for prom- the service was terrible. They were letting the other boys try on the suits, but never let my son try it on. They didn't let him try on pants, or the white shirt. He didn't let him even try the vest on with the jacket! My son is 6'4 so he his tall, I wanted to make sure they have pants that actually fit him.

I noticed the other boy's pants in the shop were quite short on them and didn't fit right. He was rushing us out leaving feeling completely unsatisfied. They never asked what kind of collar for the tux jacket, or what type of cuffs on the shirt he wanted. I'm surprised they treated us so poorly because they posted requests for reviews. They definitely got me to review DC Tux, but unfortunately it's an unfavorable review. I would NOT recommend this tuxedo shop.

Fitted for my friend's wedding and I must say they did a terrific job with the measurements and the way it fit my frame, received several compliments on the way I looked it made me feel very great. My hat's off to DC Tux for doing such a terrific job.

Seems to be a locally owned family business. Was greeted immediately upon entry and realized that this is a nice cozy place for all your tux needs! I only came in for some measurements to be sent off for future use, but now that I'm aware of this shop I look forward to using it for my family's needs as we grow up and through our formal needs. TYSM to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and for accommodating my needs. We truly appreciated our experience, your time, and your efforts.

My experience with this shop was terrible, they caused me unnecessary stress and disrespected me. We had an out of state wedding so we communicated when everyone got fitted that we would need to pick up the suites on Wednesday vs their normal pick up day which is Thursday. I called about a month before pick up to ensure everything would be ok, I was told no problem but it wouldn't hurt to call back closer to the pick up date to make sure.

So I had to add another thing to my list right before my wedding due to this business not knowing how to properly manage a business. I called the week of my wedding to confirm and was told yes Wednesday is ok to pick up the suites but to come in the afternoon. When we showed up everything was going ok but then the shop owner stated that he didn't have 2 of the shirts that we needed due to him missing the dry cleaning pick up.

I shared my frustration with him because I had called and ensured that everything would be ready for Wednesday pick up and they said it would be. After I shared my frustrations the shop owner proceed to yell at me. I have never been treated so poorly by an owner like I was that day. After putting that aside it turned out the shop did have the shirts that we needed and that the owner had yelled at me for no reason.

Fast forward to our wedding I discovered that the grooms cuffs look dingy and orange. Almost like the shirt was not even cleaned. I called DC Tux and the only recommendation they could give was that "well we have a lot of clean shirts at the shop" even knowing that we had an out of state wedding. This is a poorly ran business and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. I would recommend looking elsewhere for rentals.

I needed a nice tuxedo for a dinner event in a very short period of time. DC tux was able to get me fitted and out the door with a great looking tuxedo in the matter of a couple of hours when other places simply could not get it done for me in the needed amount of time. They were helpful understanding and professional. And as luck would have it the event that I was going to attend ended up being canceled so I didn't actually use the tux. I explained to this to the people at the store and they graciously offered me a discount on my next rental. Top notch service. I will be back for certain.

First time shopping for prom and could not be more pleased with the service, style options, and costs. The quality and fit of the suit was more than I expected. Appreciate the kindness shown by the owners. We will return!

Extreme cold due to the polar vortex on Wed. 1/30 had school cancelled. So we took the opportunity to pick up a black uniform shirt for my son who plays in his school Orchestra. The shop is small with racks out front only for color and style selection. The actual stock is in the back, or I'm guessing, must be ordered. The gentleman at the counter when we walked in, was friendly.

He measured my son, went to the back, and returned with the shirt. In between, I got a phone call I had to take, and while I felt rude in that way, he didn't seem to mind. The transaction was about 5 minutes, efficient and super easy. I'm so glad we were able to get what we needed hassle-free.

I have nothing but success with this Tux shop. They cover every base and are so courteous! Even when they are extremely busy they do everything to make it a pleasant experience and my kids have all felt the same way!

We had a few groomsmen who needed their tuxes a week in advance and they had no issues getting them ready early. My husband and I were very pleased with the customer service and all of the groomsmen looked great in the navy blue tuxes! Thank you for your great service!

I personally like the shop as they are fast and accurate with sizing. Very responsive to customers and willing to work with you. Been in business 30yrs. So they are doing something right. We have triplets and Weddings will be easy with this shop.

Wedding tuxes were great. Customer service - out of this world! Kim was super helpful and very willing to do anything we asked. She'd call me with updates and questions frequently and it was nice to know that we were a priority, even in the heart of prom season. Out-of-towners emailed their measurements and hardly no adjustments were needed. My dad's tux had a spot on it when he tried it on and it was taken care of immediately. I would recommend DC to anyone purely because of the personal feeling and unwavering service.

Very kind and welcoming experience compared to other more well known tuxedo shops. I would rent here again.

DO NOT use this tux shop! We did not get our tuxes until 2 hours before our wedding pictures started after arguing/begging for 2 days with DC Tux. Our wedding was Friday 6/1/12. We were first told that we would have the tuxes no later than Wednesday. That didn't happen but the shop promised they would arrive first thing Thursday. My husband & dad got their tuxes after a 2-HOUR WAIT at the shop, but the rest of our groomsmen were kept waiting all day.

At one point the manager told my mother-in-law that my husband was *LYING* about when he was told the tuxes would arrive ~ and then the tuxes never arrived on Thursday. DC Tux also used excuses like it was the first weekend after a holdiay (1 week after Memorial Day), so they "couldn't be responsible" for the delay. At one point the shop manager said to my husband, "It's not our fault you're getting married on a Friday." If you make a commitment to a customer, you should honor it - & don't make a promise you can't keep.

The groomsmen had to meet the delivery truck ON OUR WEDDING DAY to pick up their tuxes from the truck driver, with 2 hours to spare until pictures, so no one got fitted profesionally. Overall it was a *HORRIBLE* experience. DO NOT USE this place for your wedding or any other special occasion - unless you want to spend all of it at the tux shop!
