Came here for an alteration on a dress that was about an inch too small the woman had me try it on and immediately said no theres no extra fabric they are only able to take in the dress and that was it I ended up taking it somewhere else and they made it work also instead of the owners learning to take criticism or request insight on how to improve their business they respond back to reviews that aren't praising them in a petty and condescending way that speaks volumes on who they are!

I haven't walked in yet I gave a 5 star review based purely on the clear answers to simple questions. The other shops around town must alter clothes with clown shoes on and big red noses. A bunch of maybes and half answers from 4 other shops listed in my "alterations in Goodyear " search

Quick, easy, they were polite and I was in and out. I know the process for women is a bit longer and needs more detail but for guys they make it really simple. If you don't want a suit purchase or rental to drag out forever then this is your place. They get the job done now.

Susie's was absolutely amazing. We were from out of town and needed a last minute suit for our son's prom. She measured him, found the suit color requested, fitted him, and showed him how to use cufflinks. We were in and out in under 45 minutes. I was informed last minute of an interview for a potential promotion at my job. I am a novice when it comes to business attire and only had mere hours to prepare. My first thought was to find a suit rental place so I picked the first(small business) recommendation on google and found Sukies. I explained the situation and like a professional she got to work. Took my measurements and unfortunately didnt have time to alter the suit that I decided to buy instead of rent.

So I decided to buy the shirt and tie there and went to a department store for the suit and pants. She offered to press my shirt and it will be ready when I return. I left and came back 1 hour later. Thanks to Sukies Tux and Alterations. I was ready for my interview and I got the Job!. 10/10 will recommend.

I cannot say enough about Sukie's! I took my bridesmaids dress here after taking it to another local shop that totally had no idea what they were doing when it comes to alterations. I walked in with an ill fitting half altered dress, I had less than 1 week until my event and from the moment I walked into Sukie's I felt at ease. They were able to get my dress altered perfectly and with a day to spare just in case any additional alterations needed to be made. I would give Sukie's 10 stars if I could. If you need alterations in the West Valley, this is your spot!

I cannot rave enough about Suki and her alterations. I have been using her for nearly 20 years. Her sewing skills are absolutely amazing. I am often in awe at the beauty of her work. It is truly a form of art. She does wonders with needle and thread Not to mention the customer service is always personable and welcoming.

I brought my bridal gown in to have it altered for my wedding in October. The wedding plans have changed, due to everything going on, but the dress was one thing I didn't even have to worry about. Sukie did such a phenomenal job and the dress looks so amazing. I love it even more than when I first tried it on. Thank you for making the alterations experience easy and seamless! Sukie is amazing! I had a friend of mine use her for her wedding dress alterations and I thought I'd go in after she raved about her. I bought my dress online (BIG RISK) And when it came in it was a little big. I took it to Sukie and needed it altered and she worked so hard and fit me in. She made me feel so comfortable and I trusted her with my dress completely.

My dress had hand beading all over it so she had to to around that and all the delicate lace. my dress also had a removable train and she even added a bustle for me! She did the alterations on my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses! When I came in for my final fitting after all her hard work. I put my dress on and FINALLY felt like a bride. She gave me the remaining fabric from what she altered. her work is absolutely flawless. Totally recommend!

Don't believe any negative reviews! I am very pleased with the service I received here! I needed a dress altered in a short amount of time and within the day I received a response about the quote I requested. I was told to come in any time and they'd be able to help me and they sure did! The woman who runs the front desk was very kind and wore a mask which is sadly hard to come by in this state. I cannot thank you enough for helping me with my dress in such a short amount of time!

With everything going on this year, planning a wedding is very hard, so stressing over a dress not fitting doesn't help, but I was very lucky to find Sukie's. They were amazing from the first visit to my last visit. My dress was to small to begin with and when she said she could make it fit, I cried. I wasn't expecting her to be able to do what she did, with everything going on these last few months, i was ready to just buy a new dress.

I'm so thankful, I can't express enough how much I appreciate her. She is like a fairy Godmother with a sewing machine. I definitely recommend Sukie's. You won't be sorry. Thank you guys, I'll send you a picture after the wedding. Amy.

Dan and Sukie were amazing to work with! David's Bridal wanted over $500 to alter my bridal gown! I called Sukie's and went in for an quote which was noticeably more reasonable. It was comforting to know that I would have someone whose been doing this for many years take care of my dress. Everything came out perfect for my special day and I cant thank them enough! I work very often with Sukie to repair all my rare vintage tee shirts! She takes very good care of all my items, finishes her work quickly with amazing quality! All my items are fixed like new, and usually within a week or less! I wouldn't take my business anywhere else, and couldn't recommend it more! Not to mention the price is extremely fair for the quality I receive! Absolutely love it here

Good service and altered my outfit for a wedding with a week. I needed a taper on the wide legs and minor closure on the chest with a strap fix that was about 50$. More than my outfit which was from Ross but I was ok with it. The seamstress definitely got it done for a wedding I needed to attend.

My daughter decided to have a new pair of pants altered at Sukie's. She had waist taken in, legs hemmed and tapered on a pair of work pants/fireman. Sukie said there are 2 prices.one was over $100 another less expensive. Sukie related that they would still "look nice". She should have said "They will not look professional and look defective".

She paid $63 for the work that was done and shocked when she saw her new pants! They looked TERRIBLE! Waist was all bunched up and sewn front and back, belt hoops were crooked and zipper area baggy in the front. When we returned to show Sukie her pants, she was defensive and said that is what was agreed upon. I think her husband or male employee was there and began defending her work.

After much debate, she did undo the crooked, bunched up job and gave us $25 dollars back. She told my daughter to take her pants where she usually goes. Be careful if you go here. Hassle to have to go back and forth and spend time trying to get everything straightened out! P.S. I am expecting a passive aggressive comment here from Sukie's. Look at her previous comments when a customer has a concern or comment.

I have used Sukie's bridal for years. From prom dresses, to buying and altering my wedding dress, to bridesmaid dresses and jeans hemmed. Dan and Sukie are always kind and accommodating and do fantastic work. I definitely recommend them for everything bridal and alterations!

I bought a wedding dress that was a size 10 and asked Sukie to alter it to a size 2. I was blown away by the work she did on my dress! You cannot even tell it was a bigger size and it fit perfect. I asked her to cut some of the lace to make off-the-shoulder sleeves and even that was done with perfection! I expected the alteration to pricey and they charged a reasonable price at Sukie's that I was willing to pay.

I really love the workmanship that Sukie's Bridal Tux Shop offers. She sewed my sons patches in his Taekwondo uniform and they are straight and sturdy. Price is a bit high but you get what you paid for! I will go to Sukie's for my future alterations, thank you!

They did such a nice job with the alterations on my wedding dress. They steamed it and it came out perfectly. Very competitive prices and great customer service! I'll be back!

Great experience in renting a tuxedo for prom. We have a young man living with us and this was his first prom or dance of any kind. Service was quick, tux was exactly what we needed, and price was fair. Even though they were very busy with multiple proms, I felt valued and I appreciate that!

I've been taking my clothes to Sukie's for a couple of years for alterations. I'm short and very curvy with a small waist. It's very hard for me to find pants that I don't have to make alternative to. I love that Sukie's have me to try on every garment to get the exact measurements. I've never had a problem with anything they've done for me.

Customer Service is also excellent and I love their new location. That being said, these services are not cheap (that's the only reason I gave them 4 stars). Every couple of months I get a text with 25% off, wish they would send these out more frequently or do something for their regular/frequent customers

Amazing place! They have really great and nice service! It's very clean and very organized! I rented my tuxedo here for prom and got in and out very fast! I'm totally going here again for prom next year! They have really great prices for renting the tuxedo! Definitely recommend going here!

I bought my wedding dress in Tempe but I live right near Sukie's, I see it all the time. I figured it is worth a shot seeing as it's so close to my home. I made an appointment and when I arrived I was greeted kindly by my name and I was assisted right away. I went over the alterations needed and am set to pick up my dress next month. It was a little pricier than I expected, but I guess I wasn't sure what to expect. I'll update my review when I pick it up to let you know if I got my money's worth. I've picked up my dress and it is great!

I again was greeted promptly and taken back right away to try it on and make sure everything fit well. It did! I will return to Sukies again if needed, but I may compare prices elsewhere beforehand. Thank you Sukie!

My mom found this place and had me check it out while visiting AZ. My wedding was coming up, in AZ and the dress shopping had just begun! I had already chosen a dress in the Midwest where I'm from but once stepping into Sukie's shop and trying on her dresses, I changed my mind about my original choice! For the price of one, I ended up getting two dresses!

One for the ceremony and one for the reception! Sukie was so sweet and really catered to my requests of how I would like the dresses to look. I bought the dresses in December 2016 and experienced only A little hiccup 10 months later with my ceremony dress not fitting particularly in the thigh area, (my fault) and Sukie did the extra alterations in less than 1 day and the second dress fitting just 4 days before the wedding.

I felt flawless and absolutely stunning with her work! Big thank you to Sukie and her team! She has a lot of dress selections and our groomsmen and my father and my father in law even rented their tuxedos from her as well. More than happy with this one stop shop!

This place does and outstanding job, my daughter is in Girl Scouts she just got her brownie vest but we need patches on immediately due to the Veterans Parade, I called all over and everyone else was closing or over priced. Sukie's did a great job In providing customer service and great quality work

Our son rented a tux for Prom. They were fantastic! We appreciated their friendliness and customer service.

In summary, I hope this place tanks and goes out of business. Just stopped in to get an estimate on a formal gown alteration with the wife; we were quoted $75 to shorten a $20 dress. While openly discussing her competitors cheaper rates she walked away and wrote us off (rather than meet the rate). I guess she really did not in fact want to earn our business.

Not my loss either! Because judging by this business owners lack of ethics and personal judgement I think we will be much happier elsewhere! Oh, and since you don't have my personal information, it looks like you can't harass me. Seriously, when you go out of business I'll be sitting in your parking lot drinking a margarita! P.S. As a small business owner, your own information is public record; you may want to rethink your views on "confidential information".

Totally awesome all around! I have a naturally large bust (DDD) with a 28" waist that makes it virtually impossible to find a cocktail dress, button down shirt or anything that resembles cute. After three days, 67 dresses and a wedding the next day, I was ready to say forget it and let my husband go solo to our friends wedding when I suddenly caught Sukie's Bridal & Tux out of the corner of my eye. Sukie was AMAZING along with the gentleman at the front desk.

They listened to my dilemma and immediately showed me their beautiful selection of ready to buy dresses. With my only concern being I needed a dress, I didn't bother to even look at the store hours. Needless to say, Sukie never once said her store was already closed. She understood my dilemma and had nothing in her mind but to provide superb customer service. (If you've shopped anywhere lately, it's hard to come by "true" customer service anymore.) I picked my dress and she tailored it for the wedding by the next day!

The price was incredible as well. I'm always looking for great deals and this is a one stop shop. Sukie has it all. My wardrobe consists mainly of t-shirts or shirts that have to be worn with tank tops. Thanks to Sukie's, that will no longer be the case.
