Wow, what can we say, what an honor! Each of us at Expect Style, thank you for allowing our firm to become one of the finest businesses through the Laughlin area! Expect Style was began by Cindy & Curt who have backgrounds in event planning, music and photography. Curt worked in public broadcasting both in television and on the radio. He was a producer at a news station.

Where can I even begin with this company. Their company name portraits something entirely different than the service they give. My fiance and I hired Expect Style for DJ and Event Lighting for our wedding. We know Cindy Hanser the owner, and from the looks of the images she markets on her website I figured this company was a safe bet to go with on the wedding-boy was I wrong.
The day before the wedding at the rehearsal our maid of honor was going over ceremony music details with Cindy and she gets snippy saying "I've done this before, I know what I'm doing". The owner also rambled on saying the bride won't even notice if the music is not in the correct order! She had started on the lighting in the room which looked hideous and unfinished but it was still a day before so nothing was said-thinking she wasn't done setting up.
Then the wedding day came. We hired a great photographer from out of town and for some reason unknown Cindy-the owner of expect style who is also a photographer started taking pictures and followed the actual hired photographer around-this became a problem with the hired photographer since Cindy and her camera's flash were getting in the way of the hired photographer and videographer. Cindy had no business in the first place taking pictures.
Her main focus should have been the DJ and Event lighting for which she was hired to do-then maybe the job could have got done correctly. The hired photographer went to the maid of honor to have Cindy stop following him around, and getting in the way. She became very defensive, argumentative, and just plain unprofessional to my maid of honor when speaking with her.
All the ceremony music was totally out of order-which I wouldn't be surprised if this was done on purpose after the way she acted. The Event lighting was horrific! She took PVC pipe made a tall rectangle-draped some sheer white fabric and propped it against the walls in the corners of the room, and the lights hit this. You know this is bad when your guests say it looks awful and unfinished.
For the reception music they have you fill out questionnaires stating the must have music, mother of groom, and father of bride dance music etc. We did this but somehow they didn't know the mother of the groom song still. They took music requests even though in the notes we specifically stated NO to music requests, and they missed quite a few of the must have songs.
Expect Style totally dropped the ball on the service they gave-and what's worse is we paid $1500 for all this. Horrible company to hire, and the owner could seriously use a class in customer service.
