Over the years we've heard about so many stories where someone went to a drug store or warehouse club store to get their photos done to find out weeks later that their application was denied / rejected because the photo did not follow the correct guidelines set by the authorities! Let's face it, lots of people are always asking "where can I get my passport photo taken" But what they really mean is where can I go get my passport photo taken where I will look like myself and not a mug shot or some DMV photo!
Having an engagement photo session prior to the actual wedding day is a great opportunity for both you and your fiance to have some fun and get to connect with your wedding photographer even better. For any of the couples who has been photographed by Henry Wang from Lucy's Bridal & Photography will attest that when they are having their photos taken by Henry time really flies and especially for anyone who may think they are just not photogenic or camera shy, Henry always finds a way to capture those relaxed but absolutely gorgeous images with real emotions!
As a professional wedding studio and portrait photography studio, we truly take pride in being able to capture the beauty and unforgettably perfect wedding day with our style of memorable yet unobtrusive style of wedding photography. For the couple that does not want to spend too much of their wedding day away from their guests, we offer Pre or Post Wedding (Bridal) Photography Sessions.
Having photographed family portraits for more years than he'd like to admit, Henry has been producing relaxed and professional family portraiture that become family heirlooms. Over the past 35 years that our studio has been in business (family business FTW!), we have been privileged enough to have photographed many of our clients's families for the past few decades and we truly enjoy seeing babies growing up to cute kids then to teenagers then photographing their wedding and seeing this cycle continue again!
There are many different types of events that need photography so we have different ways of covering your events to keep a smile on the organizers and/or the attendees faces! Professional and friendly photographer takes photos of guests and hosts at entrance or on stage. Professional FAST prints from our on-site lab quality prints (READ: no slow inkjet printing here!). Thanks for stopping by! Please give us a call or send a quick note if you have any questions regarding my services!

Pretty good and very popular. Slightly odd service. One waiter was very "offhand" and gave the impression he could not care less. Left me sitting for 10 minutes without a menu whilst others coming in were given menus. The waitress I then approached was totally different. Really friendly and helpful. They gave me 15% discount for keeping me waiting which was nice. The food was good. The fresh orange juice was excellent. I will come back. Only marked it down to four stars because of the slightly unfriendly start.

Wow, it has been a really long time since I updated my review but here we go! One of my relatives passed suddenly so we had an urgent need for a formal photo of her for her services. None of the pictures we had on hand were suitable so we turned to Henry W. who shot our family portraits a decade ago for help. Henry was a lifesaver because we had less than 7 days to the service and he provided white glove customer service in performing a miracle.
He was able to quickly locate her photos and offered services to photoshop the other people out in a portrait, print, and mount within two days. We were in constant contact, keeping my nerves calm that this portrait was going to be done on time. Again, Henry was so pleasant and personable -- made the grieveing process a little bit better. Thanks, Henry! You are the best!

They forgot my order. My breakfast would be in 20 minutes but they forgot my order, so at the end it took them 60 minutes and they did not even rush to serve it. All others customers were helped first. My girlfriend in the meantime finished her breakfast before i got mine. Ordered: Scrambled eggs Classic; nothing special Juice Cappuccino; was good. Got at the end 15% discount on the bill.

We went there because it has such high notes but idk, maybe it was a bad day or something. the experience was really bad. The person serving us seemed very confused and as if they didn't know anything about their own menu. We ordered three drinks and three cakes. The order came seperate with long breaks in between, the person serving forgot to bring part of the order even though they had it prepared somewhere on the counter.
When we ordered we asked for drip coffee and that person asked 'what kind'. Happily, we replied 'light roast' but we were met with utter confusion and the person replied with 'no, would you like more chocolatey or fruity'. Obciously that person doesn't know anything about coffee and didn't know how to make a proper drip. The brew was underextracted and could hardly be called coffee.
It was just dark water with no taste. We also had baileys coffee that tasted slightly alcoholic and that's it. There was no flavour, no coffee, no nothing. Tea was supermarket quality teabag. The cakes were good and that was the only nice thing about the visit.

I visited this place for a breakfast. I really can say that it was one of the best breakfast I had. The place is very chilly with interesting arts on walls. Coffee is delicious and enjoyable for coffee lovers. For breakfast, I ordered pancakes with cheese, nutella and nuts. The portion was very large for such an affordable price. And of course it was very delicious and sweet! Definitely I'll come back there for more and I recommend this place!

My cousin recently referred me to Henry Wang photography aka Lucy's Bridal and I'm so glad she did. I had a 8x10 and 11x14 waterproof photos printed and framed in beautiful walnut frames. Henry was very professional, replied timely and did wonderful work for me. I would definitely recommend him to others and be a returning customer.

This was my first experience with a professional photographer. Henry made the experience so fun. His instructions were easy to follow and the pictures came out great. We didn't have to wait long and he constantly made sure we were comfortable. I'll only come here when I need professional photos done.

Overall: Quick service and good communication. Would recommend! The Good: From a personal reference, I went in for a business portrait. Henry and his team was professional, friendly and courteous. There were examples to refer to and he was more than happy to accomodate my needs. Lastly, the editing and processing time was less than 24 hours! The Bad: N/A

We came here to have our pre wedding photoshoot and everything was great! The photographer, Henry, and his family member, Jenny, was great and extremely helpful during the shoot! The price was reasonable and the customer service was outstanding! Pearl kept in touch with us before our photoshoot and she helped us pick our clothes such as my dress and his tux! So glad I went with Lucy's bridal!

Horrible place. They will scam your $. My 7 months pregnant wife and I came here to document this significant moment of our life. It was part of our company program for a free photo shooting. Since the photos came out not too bad we decided to purchase for few selections (they were not cheap). But when we went back to pick up the prints we were told that we cannot get the files for pictures we already paid for.
How am I suppose to post on our Facebook or share with our families oversea through email? They ask us to pay more for extra prints or $50 per file. I understand that they won't give us files for everything we shoot. But how about the ones I already paid hundreds of dollars for? Now I have to pay additional $300 for additional 6 files? I am sure I can spent my money better else where.

DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT step foot inside! horrible service! totally did not know how to treat a bride with respect or make them feel at ease at such a joyous and stressful time in their life. we came here on a sunday afternoon and this lady who speaks broken english did not speak chinese with my friend's mom. although my friend and her mom was speaking chinese to one another. instead there's these two middle age women trying to do broken english with one another.
She could've made my friend's mom life easier. Anyways, because it's a weekend you are only allowed to try on 3 dresses. the freaking place was empty! we were the only customers in the whole store. So my friend looked through the dress rack and placed the dresses aside. Then the staff continued to remind her that she is only allowed to try on three dresses.
My friend said that she understood but was trying to pick a few then choose three from the bunch. The staff stated that she couldn't and needs to keep the dresses on the same rack. So finally she picked three dresses which dis not fit and then the staff informed my friend that the dresses on the rack are the last dress, they no longer make the dress, and there's no way for her to tailor the dress. WTH, thanks for wasting our time.
You could've told us that from the beginning. If you want to get high blood pressure then come here because the staff will definitely make your blood boil. I would NEVER EVER recommend coming here to anyone! Dress material felt cheap. Dresses are very affordable. Saw dresses for $1000. tips: *closes late compared to the other stores off las tunas. *it's stuffy inside. *they do have a water dispenser. *shared gender parking. *they also do photography. *they have chinese wedding dresses for sale or for rent. *you are not allowed to take pictures. *street parking.

Came in here this afternoon with my sister in law to dress shop (for her, not me). When we arrived, we were acknowledged and told to walk to the next room to see the wedding dresses. On one side, you see a row of dresses that are available for renting. On the other side, you see a row of dresses to purchase. I thought the dresses all looked beautiful, but unfortunately my sister in law didn't see anything that she wanted to try on (but this was one of the 1st shops we stopped in along Las Tunas and so I don't think she quite warmed up to the dress shopping routine quite yet). Anyways, the room with all the dresses is pretty spacious and the dressing rooms that I could see looked pretty big.
The lady who was helping us in the room (unfortunately I did not get her name) spoke pretty good English and she didn't pressure us to trying anything on and was quite friendly. Overall, would recommend stopping by here on your Las Tunas Dr. wedding row shuffle as you try on wedding dresses or bridesmaid dresses.

SHORT VERSION: Photography: good customer service, variety of packages to accommodate your budget. Wedding gown rental: borderline mediocre-bad customer service, limited dress selection, best package pricing- $480 for 3 dresses LONG VERSION: Photography: Even though we did not use this co for our engagement photos, the customer service was outstanding.
My initial phone conversation with Henry was great; he was very informative. When my fiance and I went in to look over the types of packages they had, they were well prepared and answered all of our questions. Just like if you were taking photos in Taiwan, the packages includes makeup/hair and outfits. They have 3 types of packages, prices range from $888 - $2688. Renting wedding gown: I showed up a year before my wedding hoping to look at some dresses but I was told by Mandy to come back 6 months out before my wedding :( That was rather discouraging considering the fact that other places on Las Tunas at least let me try on the dresses and put a down payment a year out.
Even though my first visit was disappointing, the price of it made me come back 6 months later. 3 dress for $480 which included altering the length, veil, and petticoat. What can I say? I love a good deal! Fast forward to earlier this month, I have returned since it is 6 months out from my wedding. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon with my mom & sister (no appointment necessary was what I was told) but was not greeted by anyone.
A lady was just standing there. didn't even bother to come over to see if we needed anything. 10 minutes later, Mandy comes into the room where there were 3 rows of wedding gowns. We were told that only dresses furthest on the left side of the room against the wall was available for rent. which meant there goes 2/3 of their selections. Then she said I would have to look for dresses that is near my size since all they do is alter the length.
So if your normal dress size is anywhere around an XS or S. be prepared to find virtually nothing. There were literally just about 4 dresses that was my size. out of the 4, only 2 was decent. I tried it on anyways since we were already there. Mandy did come in and help with the dress, which was a plus. However, the dresses were just meh. Even though the price was what brought me back, the lack of selection was what drove me away.

Lucy's is basically our one stop shop for our wedding. We are going with them for tux rentals (with shoes), photobooth, and photography. with Henry Wang. We already did our engagements with Henry and they looked amazing! We even used 2 of his shots to design our wedding invitations (photoshopped a few things here and there to make it creative and add a twist to them).
Excellent staff to help us with everything we needed: Jenny helped us out with the dress rentals for our parents and the bride, tux rentals for me and my groomsman. Something new they're providing now is a photobooth! Of course we had to go with them for the booth too! Good quality work, good customer service. and their store is always nice and clean. very important with the wedding industry! Thanks guys, looking forward to having you guys on board for the big day!

Love this place! We were recommended by a friend and was grateful they did. The staff were friendly and helpful. Henry and Jenny are very personable and helpful. I knew I wanted Henry as my photographer right after we visited him. He was our wedding and engagement pic photographer. We went to greystone mansion and staples center for our engagement pics.
The staff helped me pick out different gowns to wear for the photo shoot. They were helpful and gave me good suggestions. The pictures were awesome! Didn't know there could be that many different wonderful shots in one place. Our wedding was is January. Pictures came out lovely and wonderful. Very natural. Henry also spoke mandarin which made it very helpful for our guests.

3/18/08 Will have a better review up tmr. 3/25/08 gosh, it seems like yelp is the bane of my academic career! now that spring break is over, i'm back at yelp. anyways, great place for wedding photos. i came here for a local magazine shoot back in high school and the place was really professional that my mom recommended it to her friend who was getting married. when the first of my high school friends was getting married, he, his fiance, his sister, one of our high school friends, and i went walking down this street, looking at all the wedding photography places and in the end, he settled on this one. a bit costly but a very good deal. for my friend's wedding pictures, they took him to different locations for the shoot. there were some crazy awesome costumes as well! japanese/shonen kind of outfits, chinese, traditional american, pretty outfits. great stuff. ask me if you want to see sample pictures : i highly recommend this place. oh yeah, one of my high school friends also came here for prom pictures. but, she had her dress made in vietnam to copy a wedding dress she saw so it looked like a wedding picture, without a groom. lol. great place! March 30, 2008 I just checked out their website.
For more information, check it out. Pretty nice background music, not anything too annoying. They do Bridal, Wedding, Family, Prom, and Glamour pictures. Pretty neat. I think for my 'future' wedding pictures, I would want Glamour Wedding shots, lol.
