Take one step into the outdoor redwood cathedral and you'll know why couples travel from all over to say "I do" at Felton Guild. Three cobblestone steps lead up to a beautiful redwood stage where you can celebrate your union in front of family and friends sitting on redwood chairs and benches. Make the stage as unique as your love with streamers, dreamcatchers, floral arrangements and more-or, simply let the majestic redwood trees serve as the backdrop to your vows.Upon exiting the redwood cathedral, you'll find a sunny reception lawn, spacious enough to easily accommodate more than 200 guests.
When you get married at Felton Guild, you can rest assured that your wedding guests will have plenty of options when it comes to local accommodations and activities. Situated at the Mt Hermon Exit of Highway 17, the newly renovated Hilton is just an 11-minute drive from Felton Guild. Take a dip in the heated outdoor pool or grab a bite at Stonehouse Bar and Grill.

The venue and backdrop of the redwoods were stunning. However the unnecessary stress imposed by Kathy the day of the wedding left a lot to be desired. Changed the entire layout at the 11th hour, making up it was due to liscencing and compliance. The entire morning she made it a point to make it her wedding versus the bride and groom, from how the speakers were facing, to DJ, to sweetheart table, cocktail hour table her friend the bartender who offered two minors alcohol twice stating (it's ok it's a special occasion) I was not happy to find this out after the fact.
The venue was paid through 9 pm yet again she came and demanded the music be turned off at 8PM. She proceeded to cause a scene even the tenant she was trying to vent to stated let them have fun. Her need to control every aspect was like nothing we or the vendors have seen. She kept stating how she has people paying more for the venue so now, clearly she's doing something right.
Overall beyond unprofessional. We re-read the contract and nothing that she was stating aligned with the contract at any point. The place is gorgeous we made the best of it but I would never recommend it due to the micro-management and behavior displayed.

Having been a florist primarily in the wedding business for almost thirty years, I've designed for weddings all over the bay are, from Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, to Pebble beach in Carmel. The Felton Guild site is truly one of the loveliest little sites here in the area that reflects the natural beauty of our gorgeous Monterey bay redwoods. The intimate ceremony site nestled in a circle of towering redwoods, the rolling lawn with dappled sunlight surrounded by birch, willow and redwoods, is a lovely wedding site run by caring people who make sure that everything about your wedding day goes smoothly and better than you ever imagined. I always look forward to their events, it makes my job a pleasure.
