ABC Rent-A-Tent is a family owned and operated, full-service tent rental company, servicing a large geographical area including: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. In 1986 we began renting tents for small backyard parties in Southeastern Massachusetts. As demand for outdoor parties grew, so did our business. Since then, our product line has grown tremendously, offering a large inventory of tent and event rental equipment including: tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, lighting/decor, generators, heaters, while also partnering with other vendors to provide china, glassware, flatware, linens, catering equipment, and more.

I had my eyes on a sail cloth tent which many companies did not have as an option. Of those that did, the price quoted by ABC rent-a-tent could not be beat. Larger tent companies quoted the same kind and size of tent at thousands more! Not only did ABC offer the best price, the customer service provided by Don was world class.

I'll start off on a positive note. I've used this company a couple times before and always felt the price was good and the service was great. This weekend was my daughter's wedding. I again rented a tent from Don. The men who came to set it up were professional and excellent. I had a drawing of where all the tables and chairs went and they set it up perfectly.
On Saturday morning when I went to set the tables, I realized 5 out of 13 of the 36" round tables were actually 30" rounds. It may seem like it's not a big deal, but 5 chargers fit on a 36" round, as opposed to 3 on a 30" round. I called Don who told me that they interchange them, meaning you might get 36" or you might get 30". If I order 36", I expect 36".
He should have told me right from the start. I needed 36". I didn't need to find this out on the moring of my daughter's wedding when I was most stressed. If he had apologized it would have been one thing, but he rudely told me it is what it is and he couldn't help me, and hung up!, which left me scrambling to find more tables elsewhere when I had 1000 other things to do. I think it was handled in a very unprofessional way. I will not be using them again. That's not the way to treat repeat customers!

Giving even one star to this company is doing them a favor. Don will promise you gold and deliver dirt as soon as you pay your deposit. He delivered dirty, broken rentals for our WEDDING which he treated like a backyard barbeque once he had our deposit. He was even unprofessional enough to call us yelling and threatening once he heard that we were unhappy with what we got. I wouldn't ever recommend this company to anyone!
