Longacre House, with its charming and comfortable rooms and beautiful English Gardens, is the perfect venue for gatherings of up to one hundred-thirty (130) guests. Whether you are planning a social event or corporate meeting, bridal or baby shower, a casual family affair or a lavish wedding reception, we are prepared and eager to take care of the details.
We are happy to customize any menu. All pricing is based on 50 or more guests in attendance. Please call to request pricing for groups of less than 50 guests. A 22% operational fee, service staff, and sales tax are additional. Gourmet Express Catering reserves the right to adjust pricing if needed based on individual party parameters including but not limited to distance, length of service, or extended setup. Highly recommend Gourmet Express and their staff to handle your next event. They were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the planning process and were always available for questions/concerns. Not to mention their food is delicious and the guests at our wedding in Mid June are still talking about it! Couldn't have asked for a better wedding day and Gourmet Express had a HUGE role in making that a reality.

We had an absolutely beautiful Engagement Party at the Longacre House in Farmington Hills. And the owner and staff at Gourmet Express Catering facilitated the party by creating a delicious menu and delivering exemplary service. Laurie Kort, the co-owner and event organizer, was accommodating within reason and answered each text and email promptly. Laurie worked with me to create a personalized brunch menu.
The pancake bar was a huge hit with the young and young at heart! Laurie was so kind through out the process and gave great suggestions. For example, we had 9 children under 10 years old attending the event and Laurie suggested that we use the sun porch as an activity room. It turned out to be genius. We had the families with young children sit at tables near the sunroom and the children had fun in that room throughout the party.
Our older guests were equally pleased and several commented on the children's good behavior. The afternoon was enjoyable for all. Don't hesitate to ask Laurie for suggestions! On the day of the event, the Gourmet Express staff assisted us the moment we stepped through the door. Gage immediately offered to help unload the table decorations from our vehicles.
And one by one the rest of the staff introduced themselves and volunteered their services. Thank you to Missy, the 2 Brittneys, Emma, Bonnie, Regina, Liz, Gage, and Danny. I cannot say enough regarding the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were attentive without being intrusive. They assisted guests with mobility issues and the parents with young children as they navigated the buffet line.
At the end of the afternoon, they did not make us feel rushed even though another event was scheduled for the evening. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend Gourmet Express. The food and the service cannot be beat.

Gourmet Express is an excellent choice when planning a special event. Laurie Kort and her staff have helped me plan several special occasions, but most recently helped our family planned a memorial luncheon for our mother. The food was delicious and the venue setup was done with such care. The staff was amazing and we were so impressed by the efficiency and the attention given to many of the details that made our luncheon run smoothly.
We thank Gourmet Express for making our memorial luncheon a very special occasion. I would highly recommend Gourmet Express. Our family received many compliments from our guests and we know that our Mother's life was honored in a very special way.

Gourmet Express went above and beyond, Missy helped me plan and organize everything from food, floor plans, and even decorations. My husband and I had to completely replan our wedding in three months due to our original venue faling through during the pandemic and without Missy I don't think we would have been able to get it done. We didn't even have time to taste the food and all people could rave about at our wedding was how good it was, especially the dessert table. I highly recommend using them.

I would like to share the highest review for Gourmet Express Inc. Missy and her team are exceptional. My beloved mother's repast was hosted at Longacre House in Farmington Hills and Gourmet Express catered the event. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so attentive and professional during our time of loss! If you are in need of catering services look no further. Gourmet Express will take great care of you and are affordable, as well! They will have ALL of our business for our family's catering needs in the future!

We had our 55-guest reception at Longacre House in August. Missy and the staff at Gourmet Express exceeded our expectations. Not only were they professionally courteous, they were also genuinely helpful and caring about the small details. We can't say enough good things about Missy. From day 1 she was quick to respond to emails and offered tons of helpful suggestions as the reception got closer.
We were able to relax and enjoy the wedding because Missy and staff orchestrated everything! Missy even helped the groom and groomsmen put on their boutonnieres. She had the evening timed out perfectly and never got flustered or irritated. The food was delicious, guests were raving about the appetizers (Spicer Package) and everyone enjoyed the friendly bartender with the British accent. At least 2 guests asked us for the name of our caterer before the night was over and we highly encouraged them to consider Gourmet Express for their events.

My daughter had her wedding shower at Longacre House 8/22/21 and we were so very pleased with Gourmet Express Catering. The food was delicious and very affordable. Missy and her crew were exceptional. Very attentive and professional. She was a joy to work with and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend them. Our day was wonderful.
