Husband and wife team, Ryan and Leah McCarthy, have a large staff of dedicated professionals to tend to your every event need.

We had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Venue 1223. It was the perfect place and Leah was so incredibly easy to work with. It's very nice and has an outside area with string lights where tables can be placed and games can be played. I couldn't have been better pleased with the delicious meal and now know why it's rated so highly. I DEFINITELY would use it again and I highly recommend this venue! Pam Cornforth

I have had many experiences at Venue 1223 and the catering side to make a credible review. Both at the Venue and outside to other locations, when Downtown Catering was part of it, the food, service and overall experience was A+. Most recently I used them for my daughters wedding. They went above and beyond, starting with a sit down to go over what they expected and most importantly wanted to know what I expected.
The communication was on point, and using Maren as the wedding planner made everything go smoothly. I would recommend not only the catering side, but also consider the actual Venue 1223 as it is magical once everything is set up.

Leah, I wanted to thank you for the incredible job that you and your staff did during this entire process. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and the night of the party, everyone with Downtown Catering was WONDERFUL! They were so accommodating and very sweet to all our guests. I had numerous guests compliment the food, waitstaff, and the beautiful venue!

I am a wedding Officiant with A Wedding By The Sea and have done 923 weddings over the last 25 years and have always found Leah McCarthy and DownTown Catering to be 5 stars on their professionalism, responses as well as their staff and food. No one was ever been disappointed and I would know if they have any complaints. Leah and her staff goes above and beyond in every case.

There isn't enough space to write each and every way that DTC made our wedding incredible. From the first moment when my husband, daughter, parents and I were hosted for a tasting to the ease of communication and planning to the execution on our wedding day. Seamless perfection. It has been just over and year and I still cannot count the number of friends who talk about the food at the wedding.
We had a small intimate 42 person event and everyone was treated with kit gloves. The family style dinner was perfectly served and everything from our biscuits to short ribs were absolute perfection. What's more is that we gained new friends. Thank you for making our day so special. We truly couldn't have done it without you and wouldn't have wanted to. You saw our vision.took it 10 steps further and made it the beautiful memories we carry today and an unforgettable experience for our guests. You are top notch. Thank you!

Oh my gosh, your team was absolutely terrific! We could not have been more pleased. Maren was uber professional and easy to work with. There were a couple of hiccups with the rental company(my fault) and she helped me handle things beautifully. She was always in the solution mode and never static in the problem phase. She even jumped in as a bartender.
I really, really appreciated your whole team! Everyone loved, loved, loved the food! If we ever have another function that needs to be catered, I wouldn't dream of using anyone else. Kudos, Downtown Catering Company! Job well done!

When tasked to hire a catering company for a large scale event, I couldn't leave it to chance. I scoured the area, asked friends and finally selected Downtown Catering to provide food for our tent on the 18th Fairway of the Harbour Town golf course for a major PGA 4 day event. There were hundreds of VIP's on our invite list. This company cares about their clients and the community.
What a pleasure they are to work with and the food was exactly what we had hoped for. Delish! The event was a huge success thanks to the Downtown Catering Company. Special shout out to Maren who takes charge and doesn't miss a detail so that you can focus on other things. Fabulous!
