We made an appointment over the phone. When we showed up they said they had no record of an appointment that day or upcoming. We showed them the email conversing with the shop and the number we called. They got the manager, Alexandra, out, who said yes we had made an appointment but they didn't have a credit card on file so it wasn't confirmed and so they booked other appointments and did not have the stylists to help us. Alexandra then proceeded to tell us how we needed to make the appointment differently next time and make sure there was a card on file.

Hello -isn't this your job? She did offer to make an appointment at their sister store. But she was not apologetic and didn't seem to care they had had wasted our time.

Finding my dress at The Bride's Shop was such a memorable experience! We had gone to several shops and found nothing that worked or that was close to modest. The moment we walked in, Alexandra made us feel so comfortable and like we were friends! We found "the dress" in under an hour! I couldn't believe it after the countless shops we had gone to!

It was so quick, easy, fun, and all for a great price! My mom and I kept saying, we should have gone to The Bride's Shop first and saved ourselves so much headache! Start your wedding dress hunt here! You won't be disappointed!

I was so nervous to go Wedding Dress shopping and was worried I wouldn't find anything I liked, but boy was I wrong! My experience at The Brides' Shop was amazing! Abby was absolutely wonderful to work with! She helped me find the perfect dress and veil that really fits me and my needs and stay within my budget. I was so surprised how easy and fun it was! I had an amazing experience at The Brides' Shop! I chose a super small family only wedding which means no bridal party and I'm away from home so dress shopping had to be done solo. Lauren was extremely helpful in picking out dresses that suited my style and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. She was upfront about costs and helped me get everything that I needed set up for my perfect day! Highly recommend this store if your looking for a one of a kind dress at a decent price!

Loved my experience with The Brides' Shop! Called them a few weeks before my appointment with a dress I had in mind from a designer they carried. When I arrived, the dress was already put aside for me, and we went and found a few more dresses to round out the collection to try. I felt like a bride the whole time, and found my perfect dress!

This was my 4th bridal appointment and I finally found a great dress. They always asked before putting me in a dress that was more than my budget which I didn't have at other shops. The gal helping me, Lauren, was helpful and nice. I felt confident in their expertise and it allowed me to have fun during the appointment. When I found the dress they captured the moment with a cute sign and a Polaroid camera plus they let me sit in the dress for a while until I was ready to take it off.

I would recommend going to this store to find the one but you should also check their website to make sure your budget fits what they carry in their store. For 2022 brides this is a great option because my dress will be here soon and the turn around for alterations is a lot faster than I have encountered anywhere else (at a great price). So if you feel that you are running out of time, buying here will put you at ease.

Best place ever! I loved my consultant; she was completely attentive to my style preferences and how I was feeling about things. She was great about giving me different styles to try without pushing me too far, and she had me pick a few dresses from the rack myself so I felt like I had some say in what I tried on. The shop is small but adorable. I felt very taken care of.

I didn't end up getting my dress from here, but they were so incredibly patient and amazing! Alexandria was stellar and helped me over multiple days on deciding if the dress was for me!

I loved my experience at The Bride's Shop! Alexandra was great to work with, very honesty in what could and couldn't be done with alterations. She was considerate of the short time we had to get a dress and did all she could to find options for us. The prices at The Bride's Shop were great and very good quality! The experience was very low pressure and tons of fun! I loved the variety here and will be recommending it to everyone!

If I could give this shop 10 stars, I absolutely would. My daughter and I had the best shopping experience ever. Not only was the selection of dresses unbeatable, the consultant who helped us was hands down the most knowledgeable, honest and encouraging person you'd want helping you in this journey. I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress! I came in with an idea of what I wanted but nothing seemed to feel right. After many many dresses they brought out a one that was a different style than I had in mind but I ended up loving it! I ordered in my exact size because the dress they had there was a few sizes larger than I was. It fit perfectly and needed very minimal alterations. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for an amazing wedding dress!

We came for my sister's first time shopping for a dress and Allison was AMAZING! She was so incredibly kind and made my sister feel like it was already her special day! And she took care of the rest of us and made sure we were all comfortable and enjoyed our time. Come here and make sure you schedule with her! She will help you find your dream dress!

The dresses were beat up, out of season. I was extremely disappointed. The workers were very aggressive with the dresses, heading and lace distressed in many areas.

This was the first bridal shop I went to and it was a miserable experience. I would highly recommend to start somewhere else. My mother & sisters were with me and we all had noticed how high strung and pushy the worker who helped us was. She was threatening me basically to buy the first dress I had tried on. telling me there wouldn't be another dress at all like this and I would lose the chance to buy it that day.

She sinched my dresses was too tight till I could barely breathe. She wouldn't let my mom help me with the dresses, so I had an invasion of privacy which I was not prepared for that day. She was way too much and a big turn off for staying at that store. I didn't buy a dress from that store and would not recommend going there. bad experience

I came here because my sister got her dhere years before. The two of us had very different taste but they had a good variety and I found my dress very easily. I completely rebuilt the top so it would have sleeves. I'm very happy with the alterations and really love my dress.

I went to five bridal boutiques in the SLC metro and this is where I got my dress! I recommend booking an appointment here. As always, if you can do a weekday, definitely do that; if you have to do Saturday, try being the first appointment. It's a great shop with multiple platforms and so many beautiful designer dresses. They have a lot of pretty jewelry and accessories available for purchase, too.

They do not have in house alterations. They have a NO PHOTOS rule to respect their unique designer selection (once you commit to purchasing the gown you can take photos). Their price range starts at approximately $1,000 and goes up from there. I said my budget was $1,000 and ended up with a $1,300 dress. I went in February and my dress is due to come in July.

If your dress is not in stock, the timeline may be even longer. If you're on a short timeline, you may try on discontinued "as is" styles. I was kind of bummed I couldn't just purchase the sample dress since it's the same size I ordered. (All of this is any bride shop you go to, not specific to this one.) You do undress in a dressing room with the bridal consultant there to help you in and out of gowns, so consider what undergarments will make you most comfortable in that situation. Kayla was a fabulous consultant.

My family and bridesmaids are all out of state so she suggested and helped Face Time them in to see the dress. My sister loved her and said she's invited to the bachelorette party.

I used Yelp to come to a decision about making an appointment at The Brides' Shop, so I'm happy to come back and share my experience! I'm happy to report that I found a wonderful dress here for my wedding next year. Brooke was very knowledgeable, informative, and warm to both me and my mother. The shop is very clean and efficient, even during busy times. I'm so happy to have chosen them to work with! I can't wait until my dress comes in.

I've been to various bridal shops in Salt Lake City as a guest of many brides. I was particularly impressed with this bridal store when I went with my sister (the bride). I really thought the variety of dresses was extensive and I loved the customer service. I'm somewhat of a wedding dress snob, so when I say I recommend this establishment I mean it. I'd like to address some of the other concerns of the lower reviews on here: you cannot take photos of dresses at any designer bridal shop.

These are DESIGNER dresses. The designers don't want people stealing their designs. no brainer here, don't expect to take photos and don't complain about it. Another thing- higher end designer bridal shops START at $1000 (if you are lucky). Again, these are designer prices and most of these dresses only sell once or a couple of times to brides AND these dresses are custom tailored and designed to each bride.

So essentially you are getting a one-of-a-kind dress design that no one else will wear but you. That's what you are paying for. And it's totally worth it if a wedding dress made exactly just for you is a priority on your wedding day. Our attendant was Rebekah and she was a dream to work with! She was very knowledgeable about dress designers and dress timelines.

My sister had a very limited timeframe (3 months- and yes people, you normally can't order a designer dress in less than three months. 6-9 months is the standard for designer dresses). Rebekah was able to help my sister find a dress (that she actually loves!) with a limited timeline that could be rushed in time for the wedding. My sister looked beautiful on her wedding day. Would highly recommend!

Rebekah is AMAZING- as soon as I told her what I wanted she had several dresses picked out for me to try on. I ended up buying the fourth one I tried on! She also had the PERFECT veil to match. This shop has a wonderful atmosphere and I felt comfortable with Rebekah and I am impressed by her knowledge and helpfulness. I needed my dress shipped quickly and she helped figure that out and gave me a place where I could have my dress altered. So glad I came here!

I was there last year and finally have time to review this. I set up the appt for first slot on Thursday 2 weeks ahead. Right after 1-2 dresses in, the sale girl left me to sell jewelry to walk-in customer. My aunt had to help me in/out of dresses. I was looking for ball gown: so we had no idea how to get in and out. (Alta moda a few street away was helping us with everything.) So after a few dresses on our own, we just left. The sale girl was still helping the walk-in bride pick jewelry and she said "ok/thank u and if u cant find anything here, visit our sister store - the perfect dress." fml.

I was hesitant to come here after reading the negative reviews by some, but I could not have had a more opposite experience. Allie was my stylist and after asking a couple questions and looking at pictures of other dresses I had tried, so immediately started pulling some for me to try on. She was so friendly, and honest to God, she found THE dress almost immediately.

If I had just been looking myself I never would have thought to even try it on, but with Allie's guidance, I gave it a try and just fell in love. Rebekah, the other employee working that day, was also extremely nice and kept coming over to give her opinion on the various dresses. Neither one of them made me feel pressure to buy right then and there, which was not the case at horrid David's Bridal the day before.

I made an appointment to come back two days later to try it on one last time, and once I made my decision, I got sized and they went over all the information with me about when the dress would arrive, a recommendation for a seamstress, etc. Allie gave me a big hug on my way out and I was just so happy to have my beautiful dress chosen. Yes, it does stink that they don't let you take pictures in the store before you decide on your dress, but they're a small boutique shop and I'm not going to argue their right to protect their products so they don't just rush out to find a cheaper version somewhere else. Speaking of price, my dress, for being as beautiful as it is, turned out to be very reasonably priced at just around $1000.

I highly recommend The Bride's Shop if you want a pleasant, friendly, low-key experience trying on dresses at a tasteful shop. Allie and Rebekah were both fantastic and I look forward to seeing them again when my dress arrives!

Sadly, we bought into the pressure of buying a dress the same day. The manager checked to see if it was still available, twice while we were there and once when we called back. We came back and bought the dress at closing. By the time we got back to my daughter's apartment, she was sad and worried about the dress. I emailed early the next morning and talked to the manager as soon as they opened.

There is a no return policy and she said there was nothing she could do. We hoped my daughter would like it again when she got the dress She picked it up two weeks ago. They did not even steam out the shipping creases and barely took the time to just help her get into the dress. Sadly a day that is supposed to be the happiest day of her life is becoming a day of disappointment and sadness.

Obvious things to note: It's a small space and you need to make reservations. The price point begins at a thousand dollars which made it tough for my best friend who is a college student and has a smaller dress budget. She was directed to only pick gowns from the sale rack which hovered between $800 to low $1,000's. They were all gorgeous.

All designer. And once we left she stated how uncomfortable she felt during the whole experience. It was silent with a tense sort of energy. You're not allowed to take photos. And she didn't realize she'd need to undress in front of the store employee. I know it's standard for a bridal shop not to allow photos but there wasn't anything that really made it feel like a first class experience either in the service or with the environment. After this experience, my friend swore off wedding shops in favor of a website.

They're very helpful and making sure everything went smoothly. It's what I've always dreamed of on my big day. We're very pleased and believe me, you will too.

The best selection of wedding gowns in Utah if you want to avoid the typical hideous Mormon wedding dress. The seamstress does simply amazing work. The owner is fabulous to work with. The prices are better than you would think. Shop and compare.
