I have used A1 Party rentals many times. They're a little overpriced but they have a large large selection. Recently I rented 3 eight foot tables and 40 chairs my husband picked up to tables and later realized we received 6 foot tables instead of the larger tables. We had set up a party for 8 ft tables stable and it and this was a problem we had to rearrange our party set up.

It worked out however I was a little bit upset. When I called on Monday morning to let them know what happened they were very dismissive they said you need to return everything in and take a we'll look at your paperwork. As if I was lying about what I received, no apologies. When I dropped off the gentleman who took the tables from me said he was the person who delivered the tables he didn't apologize.

I went inside to talk to someone no one apologized. If I had simply received an apology I probably would not have accepted the refund. What I was more disappointed about was the service that I received and the lack of understanding. I had thought about going with a different party rental place where the chairs are 99 cents (cheaper than A1), however, they did not have 8 ft tables. I'm definitely going back to JR party rentals in Azusa where the prices and service are better.

Kinda pricey but only place that carried navy blue linens - their service was excellent. Very Professional and Friendly.

Doesn't look like much from the outside. But they have quite a lovely showroom. Ready for all the events you can think of!

Really bad company. Terrible service. They didn't confirm the delivery time with me and ask me to stay at home all day. After they arrived I wasn't home and they ask to charger 100 dollar for them to come back. Bad bad bad service will never use this company again.

Great Easy hands free service. They have so much to choose from and we rented a speaker and microphone that worked perfectly for our small gathering.

They are the best provide our annual festival at St. John Coptic church in covina with every thing tent, barbecue, tables, chairs. You name it they will get it. Thank you see you guys in two weeks

There are not enough words to express my gratitude and most importantly how happy I am with A1! If there is a dream Team out there it consists of Gabriel, Patsy, Paula, and Eli who went above and beyond to make miracles happen! I do not even know where to begin. We had a wedding yesterday in Palm Springs and the last week the desert has experienced some of the weirdest weather, rain in and out of the horizon with no really understanding as to what may happen. On Thursday, just two days prior to our client's wedding, we decided we had to seek out a tent for 200 people, to not risk the potential forecast of rain.

That day myself and Associate contacted, communicated, and were denied by 29 companies. Yes, you're reading this right! From LA, to Orange, to San Diego, companies either had the tent with no available labor or they didn't service Palm Springs. With a final push, we stumbled upon A1, and to say I am thankful would be an understatemt. We worked directly with Gabriel, he wanted to do everything he could to help us, and not only did we secure our tent at 6:45 PM on Thursday, his crew was onsite at 8:00 AM the very next morning and installed one of the most spectacular tents we've had.

From how equipped they were in labor, to professionalism, I will not be going anywhere else for my equipment needs. Thank you A1 for your help, professionalism, and everything in between.

Food was delicious but. If you have never been before its a little confusing. But the y were very helpful. Food portions we good size.

My very first party was a success thanks to A1 party rentals and with the easy communication with our consultant Amanda. It was a pleasure working with her and very fast at responding any questions I had. Definitely will hire and refer to anyone needing any of their services.

Rather awful. The staff including the main office staff along with the main workers are completely horrible and it's just incredibly horrible overall. The service stinks completely and it's like the staff associated with this company and location weren't trained very properly in the service field as their service which include customer service skills are completely horrible and one could find better service from a stinky skunk than the so called service that is provided here.

The rentals aren't even that great and the selection of rentals are very lackluster and bland overall. Overall, there just aren't many good things to say here and so much revamping needs to be done for this company location but it likely won't happen anytime soon. Such a waste.

Great rentals, beautiful fabrics and linens, timely and no difficulty picking up the rentals and having it setup for a our special day. Can't say enough about the excellent service provided! Would recommend again!

Have rented from A1 previously and had a wonderful experience each time. I needed some tables for a grad party and wanted to say how cheerful and lovely the girls that helped me were. They are very professional and helpful! Will never go elsewhere.

Very bad service. I walked into there office two weeks ago and till this day, I have not received a response via telephone or email. My wedding is next month and it has been stressful, I thought by reading all the good reviews here on yelp, I would receive some type of service, NOPE not so, horrible customer service. I contacted another vendor, therefore I will be utilizing my services elsewhere.

Cynthia was such a pleasure to work with! Everything turned out beautiful and even though there was some rain, we were able to use mostly everything we rented from A1 Party Rentals. Cynthia was quick to respond to all my emails/questions/updates, she set up calls to talk about things in more detail if needed and the delivery/pick up was easy and quick. Cynthia checked in with me after everything was delivered and followed up again when everything was picked up -- amazing customer service skills! I would definitely use A1 again for our next party. Always a pleasant experience when renting from A1. I love the fact that they always have prior reservations in file which makes it easier for me to remember exactly what I have rented before and need.

Had such a great experience renting items from A1 for my wedding last month. Extremely professional, efficient, and pretty much on top of things. Communication was best over the phone. Paula was amazing. Answered all my hundreds of questions and allowed me to amend the list of items, even up to the week before when I had my final head count. Really had a great experience. Their delivery persons were also WONDERFUL! Really happy with the turn out!

The staff was friendly. The prices are great. The delivery and pick up were prompt. The chairs in excellent condition. I would recommend to any one.

Not really a review more of a comment. I just heard Sam Rubin from KTLA give them a shout out on tv from a job well done at The Emmy's. May have to use them one day

Used A1 for my wedding recently. After about 8 emails and two phone calls confirming everything, day of the wedding they arrive early (told them we don't have access till 5 they arrived at 330 and waited around). We Also paid for setup of tables and chairs. Right at 5 they start to load in and guess what!? They only brought about 9/16 large round tables, zero of the three (including sweetheart) rectangle tables, the bar didn't arrive and the drink dispensers didn't arrive.

After having our families panic a bit they eventually went back and got the rest (well MOST, they only brought one rectangle table back instead of three) but now the event is minutes away from starting so our entire families in dress clothes have to help these morons unload the second truck. The whole ordeal put us 30-45 minutes behind and we had to cancel some toasts and other things during the evening.

The prices weren't anything special, felt very high especially for "delivery" and the after-hours scam they get you with. They eventually refunded PART of the delivery but that's it. Incredibly disappointed with what happened. 100% would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Lots of options out there, I'd keep looking.

What more can we say about A1 Event & Party Rentals, other than they are AMAZING! We have worked with them for past events and there service is incredible. Our recent event was a corporate event that we had to design in less than a week. Cynthia, (we love her) worked so hard for us and made the dream come true. She even went so far to reach out to me on her day off to make sure everything was perfect! The customer service is amazing and they will do what it takes to make it all happen. We look forward to the next event!

I rented tables from this place and it was a Saturday and when I went to pick it up on the time i was given by the front office, when I arrived the warehouse gentleman didn't even speak english. After realizing the front office wasn't open on Saturdays, the warehouse staff had a hard time finding our invoice and the said the tables we requested were at a different location.

After my party, I checked my account and realized that our account was charged double. Thankful our bank caught. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. TABLES CHAIRS ARE OLD AND DIRTY.

A1 has become my first call for all my party and event needs. Customer service is amazing and the selections are endless. Anything you can think of they have (outside of jumpers).

I heard of A-1 party rentals years before I finally used them. When I did call, they were nice to me over the phone, and gave me quotes on whatever I needed. They also advised me to go on their website to see what the items look like and all the different choices. However, their website does not have the prices online. I finally decided on which items to go with, and gave them a visit.

I spend a few hundred on just the basic stuff and while there I accidentally broke a coffee mug. They charged me $6.00 for it. Not sure if all rentals have the same policy, if you break it, you pay for it. Which I understand. but, I'm giving you my business. I'm actually there paying for my stuff, and they didn't want to wave that $6. Well, the next day of my party, they came to pick up all the rentals, apparently I was missing a few forks and a knife.

Guess what I ended up doing. paying for those too. So, as long as you know this policy, and you don't care, or are super careful, you really should use them. They have anything and everything to make your party worth while. Things from silverware, to table and cloth, to bar's and gazebo's. and so much more!.

We've been using A1 Party Rentals for about 4 years now and I would recommend this company. Besides the snooty receptionist in the front, A1 always delivers for my family's events. The equipment is clean and functioning and in great condition. (Canopies, tables, chairs, dancefloor, heaters, lightning, linen, and dinnerware) AND they even have a kid-size selection as well. We always get their kids tables & chairs for our functions!
