We ordered cake and specifically instructed to Happy Birthday sign to be written in Ukrainian or English. Due to the current situation! However it was written in Russian and my daughter invited friends who are Ukrainian.

This place is heavily underrated for the quality of cakes they produce! Not your usual buttercream filled sponge cakes. these are curated creations with amazing flavor combinations! We used to order for all occasions from lana's and havent been able to find a match ever since moving out from neighborhood!

Lana's bakery creates beautiful and extremely sophisticated pastries and cakes with a European/French influence. We bought our wedding cake as well as some petite desserts for a sweets table. They were so delicious, and we received many complements. Lana is a true professional and provides excellent customer service and experience. My wedding cake was exactly what I wanted, and the fresh flowers (from my florist) were the perfect touch.

It says to phone to place an order. I called and the person who answered did not speak English. So I went elsewhere.

I've been here 3x in the last year. So not a lot. I really like the desserts though. Nothing is too sweet.well I always ask to be sure. The one cake which is the most popular is passion fruit, mango and one other thing. It is so light and refreshing, not heavy like cake can be. If you want to steer away from buttercream and layered cakes, go in there and try the cakes and other wonderful desserts.

Just discovered this cute little bakery and I was pleasantly surprised. The bakery is cute with little tables for dining in. I got 4 mini pastries and they were well decorated and taste amazing! I will definitely be coming back.

The desserts were good but the place Isn't safe. The only other customer in the bakery walked in without a mask even though there was a sign on the door that patrons needed a mask. I said something to Lana but she ignored me and refused to ask him to put a mask on. He walked all over the bakery and right next to me. If you don't mind covid go to Lana's!

Again amazing cakes and deserts even during a global pandemic. I purchased the passion fruit cake, omg it is soooo beautiful and sooooo delicious. Tastes like a vacation on the beach with a drink in your hand. Got a mini of the chocolate raspberry, fabulous for chocolate lovers. Tried the pistachio and it was a five star. Also purchased one of the mini mangoes it was so light and tropical loved it

Hmm. my budget tracker tells me I've been here 3x in 2 weeks! Maybe not the best plan for my waistline, but I couldn't help it! Each day, there's 15ish mini pastries to choose from ranging from $1.79-$1.99. They're the perfect size to have a taste of everything. Fancy individual cakes and pastries are $5-6 and perfect for celebrating a Happy Every Day!

Outside of this, there's various 6-8" case cakes, cookies including macarons, and a few bar options. Espresso drinks are also available, but they don't do it iced. Lately, I've enjoyed the mini blueberry lavender pastry, pistachio apricot pastry, and almond marzipan mini. The coconut chocolate individual cake was so appealing to the eyes, but most of the flavor of the sweet was a coconut mousse and lacking a bit in cake layer.

My oldest toddler inhales their macarons, and usually she doesn't eat much unless you stuff it in her mouth. I ordered an 8" pistachio strawberry torte from here also. It's dome shaped and decorated with macarons on the outside. The girl at the front could've done a better job with a greeting upon my entrance, and when she couldn't hear what I said, she mumbled a careless "huh?" Also, considering I spent almost $50 on a cake, it would've been nice to receive a macaron that looked a little better, but the staling blueberry one I got was drastically mismatched as far as size of the top and bottom cookie.

No wonder she gave that one to me. she grabbed it from the back, as the display case was still being set up, and I couldn't see what she had put into the box. Anyway, the decorating on the dome torte was creative and lovely! I was expecting way more ratio of almond cake layers to pistachio mousse, since the majority of your cake slice will end up being mousse. The strawberry compote layer in the middle and the crunch added inside the cake was a nice touch. Plan to be back at some point for sure!

Love Lana's Desserts! Can't get enough of their delicious macaroons! That sweet smell of sugar in the air when you enter, takes me back to my childhood.

European cakes are so delicious. Inside is cozy and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, young staffs need more study what service is.

My favorite bakery at Wheeling. They have recently expanded the store and its much spacious now. The quality of the cake and other pastry items are top notch. Price is comparatively high, but for the quality and freshness definitely worth the price. For special events, we have preordered and sometimes when we forget just get the cake available at the display shelf.

They have bite size portions available for most of the cakes, and it really helps in selecting the cake. We love the layered chocolate cake the most. They have coffee available at store as well.

Opera, honey walnut, chocolate raspberry, apricot/pistachio opera are highlights.

Every time we've ordered cakes here for special occasions, we've been so pleased. Lana is an artisan and she and her staff are accommodating, friendly, and helpful in choosing the right cakes for your special occasion. I'm so happy there is a cafe seating area as I enjoy stopping in for a tea or coffee and an apple square or Florentine.

We ordered our daughter's first birthday cake and small pasturies for the party. It was just amaing. Everybody was asking where I got these fancy pasturies and a beautiful cake. Many people did not realized that it was a cake, but a part of decoration as it looked perfect. They all tasted amazing. I am heading back there for X mas party dessert as well!

Excellent and beautifully decorated high end pastries and bakery, good coffee and tea, and sitting area with lovely decor. Good service, too. Great spot for a quick meeting, social or business.

This cake was unbelievably yummy! So, so good! It was a short notice (4 days) and a very large cake, so I was very happy they could accommodate me! I tried many different cakes at Lana, and they all were very good!

Consistently beautiful and carefully crafted cake and desserts. I love that they have a cute champagne bottle candle for birthday cakes. They have incorporated passion fruit, mango, coconut, and all sorts of fruit in their baking. Each layer is meticulously designed and packed with flavor. Small cupcake sizes are $6. Larger cakes are ~$30, and serves 8-12 persons. They have sit down area for dining in. Apparently they expanded the area to the space adjacent to it last year!

The customer service was horrible. There were three women in there, no customers, one lady was on the phone with a wedding order so I understood that. However, nobody said hello when I walked in, and I just stood there waiting. I had my two daughters with me and decided to practice patience and I did. I finally kindly said, is there someone who can help me (I will be honest and say that I wanted to have an attitude, but two little girls. didn't want to be a bad role model).

She came over immediately, no apology, and asked "what would you like". I got a vast array of about 30 desserts as it was for my husbands coworkers. My husband said they didn't like their stuff and they were asking who made it. They were really expensive to not have good things. I really did expect great desserts despite the bad customer service.

I was looking for not too sweat cakes and found this place on yelp. They were cute cake shop and taste good! When I visited just before they close, they did not have much cake left. So I think if you want to try many kind of cake, I recommend to go at early time. I put only 3 star because it took about 30 mins to go. I didn't feel I wanna go again taking much time. I think I if they are around my house, I put 4 star and go again!

The best individual pastries I have ever eaten! Delicious and unreal, every time when I visit this place i gotta grab all of them. I like the prices (comparing what i saw at other places). And the tea was also an excellent, now i prefer tea than coffee.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The elaborate cakes just make you drool. Between the two of us, we didn't think we could finish one in two days, so we opted for smaller dessert options, and there were plenty. I had the chocolate raspberry mousse. I am not a big fan of raspberries unless they are combined with chocolate. This was un-freaking-believeably good! The chocolate to raspberry ratio was pure perfection, So rich!

So delicious! My husband had an apple cream cheese pastry. I don't normally mention what he had unless I had a bite. It was also very good. Not as good as mine though, as he couldn't keep out of it. The service was great. There are like a bazillion things in the case, and she knew what each and every one of them was without having to ask someone else. Amazing!

Old review - A beautiful family run cake bakery! Updates - I am editing my review to take away a star as my last visit was a little disappointment. Cake was good and top dollar as expected but they couldn't give me 'Happy Birthday' label for cake. Its little difficult to accept that cake bakery won't have it. My first visit also had similar experience with disposable forks request but I ignored it giving them benefit of doubt.
