Focus Learning Center had their graduation here. It was very nice, and we appreciate the school, it's teachers, and faculty for all they have done. Our boy did it! Thank you Makoy Center!

It was a great Venue for Graduation! My oldest boy is graduated! Thank you to Focus Learning Southwest in Columbus, Ohio. You picked a great Venue for Graduation, and I'm so happy for all the Grads, and their families. And, we are super grateful for the school, and the teachers, who helped to get these kids graduated.

I was there during a Celtic ball and the place was absolutely lovely and i had a great time with my friends. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our company held our employee appreciation party here. Food and service was very good. I would hold a personal event here.

If you need any event to go off without a hitch, pick the Makoy Center. They were able to provide so much more than what other venues offered at a great price. The staff (especially Matt Clay and Stephanie) were wonderful: friendly, thorough, super flexible, went the extra mile, patient every step of the way. Best food ever too, especially the au gratin potatoes! Our wedding went perfectly, and maybe I'm biased because it was mine, but it was the best wedding I've ever attended. I would give more stars if I could! Thanks guys :)

Nice place, with a nice balcony, and good staff. The room is small for a 200+ gathering but otherwise not bad.

My husband and I hosted our wedding at the Makoy Center and it was the most magical night of our lives. Our ceremony was held outside and the reception was in the Emerald room. Between the ambiance of the Emerald room and the creative touch of our wedding planners the room was beautiful and elegant. The entire experience was awesome. The staff was helpful and easy to work with and the food was phenomenal! We highly recommend considering to host your next event here!

Good place to attend a wedding as long as you're not getting married. Good party place.

The Makoy Center does an awesome job with planning your event. Had my daughters wedding there on October 23 and I will tell you Matt, Clay, Stephanie, all the servers and bartenders were simply wonderful. They were so attentive to my daughter and her husband as well as our guests. They made planning our event simple and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the Makoy Center for your event.

The Hilliard Coin Show is the third Sunday every month. Dan Rich puts on a great one-day show! The Makoy Center is a perfect venue! Hilliard has a lot to offer, if you want other attractions!

My niece got married there and 3 hrs before her wedding they told her it was a pipe that busted and she could only get married cut her cake and then we all had to be out by 9pm we had no access to restrooms no other accommodation like emergency port-a-potties or a water truck was looked into at all my niece could not serve her guest food nor any type of drinks. The venue seemed so unbothered like it was no big deal very unprofessional

I have hosted a few events at the Makoy Center including my own wedding reception in the Emerald Room. I will always refer people looking for a full service venue here. Matt and Clay and their entire team are responsive professionals who are thoughtful and have always gone out of their way to meet our needs or accommodate special circumstances. They have always been fully invested in our experience there at the venue and we've always been beyond pleased.

The food and service are always 5 star and the property itself is well maintained and decorated. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Makoy Center. Highly recommend.

Nice venue, great staff, helpful and professional. We had my friends wedding there, outside. We got there 4 houra in advyand prepared everything and they helped us a lot. There was two changing rooma for bridesmaids and groomsmen. The location is lovely as well.

I cannot thank Matt and his team at Makoy Center enough! From the first interview there was a great connection and I never once questioned my decision of using Makoy throughout the entire process. As most brides know, the Venue can make or break a wedding, not only did it make our wedding; but it exceeded our expectations along with most, if not all of our guests.

The venue was large and we had plenty of space, the food was absolutely delicious (tenderloin and au gratin potatoes), the bar's variety of drinks was amazing and the bartenders were very efficient! Most important the staff was out of this world. Matt works way too much and answered my crazy emails even after hours. I never once had to follow up with him, as he was on top of everything! Nick was also great, he kept me moving on my wedding day and never skipped a beat.

Even after the wedding they boxed everything up so there was no clean up and we could just enjoy the rest of the night. They made our wedding seamless and anyone would be crazy not to use them!

They really know how to roll out the red carpet and help make a special event memorable. My 35th high school reunion committee worked with them for a year and they really gave us a lot of help and hosted us in style! Major shout out to Matt and his team for making our event extra special!

I am currently planning my wedding at the Makoy Center on October 3rd and EVERYTHING has been great so far. The staff has helped make payments easy and we have attended a food tasting (which is set up like an actual wedding). The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I am counting down the weeks until our special day and I think we made the right choice to have our event at the Makoy. I plan to update my review once our reception is done (I don't see myself lowering the rating that's for sure).

Havent been here in years and the place still looks the same since the last time I was here. The hubby and I were here last weekend for a friend's wedding reception. Great venue too!

Ok I have an apology to make to the Makoy center, I had been told that a whole bunch of people didn't come and I made the assumption that they had RSVP and then were no shows. So i imagined enough food in the back room for another whole wedding, this was not the case, only a few no shows that had said they would attend. so my only small gripe was still the staff was not as helpful as they could have been.

So bottom line if we have anything come up where we need a venue (large or small) makoy center will be my 1st and only choice. If you have your wedding there please invite me; I will bring a nice gift if you serve the pasta Diablo
