This last fall I came to Bridal Gallery with a group of bridesmaids for my sister-in-laws wedding. Our consultant was so fun, spunky, and really patient with the group. The reason for the three star is that of the 4 bridesmaids, 3 were sized incorrectly. One was sized too small and the shop had to pay to order her a new dress. Another bridesmaid's dress was too big, but she was able to make it work.

I was sized 6 sizes too big.6! I was sized as a 10. I am roughly 5'2 and 125 lbs. I disagreed with the consultant because I knew that I had tried on an 8 and it was noticeably too big. She tried arguing that I had tried on a 10 and I had to actually go grab the dress that I had tried on to prove that I was correct. She then realized that she was wrong and realized too that she was using the wrong sizing chart.

Even with the correct chart, she sized me as a 6-8. I am typically a 2-4 but was so confused and frustrated that I just went ahead and ordered a 6. It was way too big as expected and it cost my $100 to have it altered so it would fit correctly. I was supposed to try on wedding dresses at this shop a week after this situation and I ended up canceling my appointment because I was worried about how they were going to size me.

It was a much more comfortable & better experience than we had at a competitors bridal shop.

I had an amazing experience at Bridal Gallery. They offered a wide variety of options and were very friendly. Alex did a great job helping me find my dream dress.

Worst experience Ive ever had buying a bridesmaid's dress. I've been in many weddings and never dealt with such a train wreck. Dress didn't come in time for the wedding and I'm still fighting to get my money back.

I drove all over the state looking for the perfect dress & ended up finding it at the Bridal Gallery! My best friend & sister in-law also found their dresses for their own weddings there years later! Gorgeous & unique selections!

Measurements for bridesmaid dress were done incorrectly. Bridal Gallery ordered the dress one size too small in a dress that does not come with extra fabric in the dress to let out. The store did nothing for us. Just said since they could not let it out we would have to buy a new dress or try to order more fabric and pay the price of a new dress for fabric and alterations.

After the sale.there was NO customer service. No response to 3 emails. No one even bothered to call us back. Spent $200 on a dress that they ordered wrong and they do nothing about it. Beware they do not order according to the manufacture of the dresses sizing.they just order what they think is maybe an average.but for a professional bridal store they should know better and order according to the manufacturer sizing.

For more details on this check out BBB complaint file. The owner of this company is by far the MOST RUDE person! Never seen such a disgusting manner of "customer service". Obviously they hide behind a contract designed covers them and stick it to the customer. Be careful what you order from them, because unless you are 100% sure that dress will fit.good luck getting them to work with you to make it right!

I cannot say enough how FANTASTIC my time was at Bridal Gallery. The staff was so kind and welcoming. My consultant, Sam, was absolutely amazing. It's almost like she could read my mind and kept pulling the perfect dresses for me to try on. She asked me to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and try on a dress with a style I originally didn't think I would like. Sure enough that ended up being the dress I picked! I could rave about my experience all day long. If you're looking for a place to get your dress, you can't go wrong here!

They did an amazing job! They keep with in my budget and help me find the perfect dress! All the girls were super helpful and kind. I went over on my time because I was stuck between 2 dresses so they stayed a little after to help me get it all worked out. 2 hours later I have the dress of my dreams and it's all thanks to the Bridal Gallery. They are a 12 out 10 on customer service, and the shop is just a great atmosphere! Thanks again for the help!

While in Michigan I scheduled several appointments to shop for a wedding dress with my daughter. What a unique surprise when we pulled into the parking lot. A reserved spot for "bride with her name on the sign". Nice touch I wish I could remember our stylists name because she was great. She contacted my daughter beforehand to ask what type if dress she had in mind and had her send pictures so they could have them pulled and ready when we got there. Although we didn't find the one there our experience was outstanding highly recommended Bridal Gallery.

Very helpful! Easy to find. Lots of different styles and dresses to choose from. I went in to try on a FB marketplace dress and they were very accommodating. I was told upon arrival that I couldn't come out of the room because it wasn't a dress being purchased from there but because there was no one in the store they let me look at myself in the mirror. Everyone was extremely nice and gave me good advice.

I had a great experience at Bridal Gallery and found my dress there. They have a great (large!) selection, and the organization by style, and featured designers area kept it from feeling overwhelming. The Associate that helped me, Rachel, was very calming and helpful; not pushy at all. The selection process was fun, and even with Rachel and some friends and family there to help pick some out to try on, I ended up finding my own dress, which was unexpected, and a very fun outcome!

After finding the dress, Rachel and the other employees were very straightforward in explaining the ordering, payment and fitting process. As I live in Chicago right now, they were very understanding of providing a larger pickup window once the dress came in.

No one has the variety that Bridal Gallery has. Their staff does a wonderful job of listening and making sure your needs are met. Aubrey hand made my veil to match my gown. She also built up the neckline on the front and I was very happy with it.

Excellent collection of dresses. This was the only place in the area that had a wide array of the wedding dresses I was interested in trying on: classy, elegant, unique dresses WITH sleeves. They had my favorites from Mori Lee, Maggie Sottero, and Allure. I contacted them several months early to reserve my appointment and they still had all of those samples by the time of my appointment, whereas other stores had sold all of them before I arrived.

They ended up being out of power due to a totally random storm, but were apologetic and squeezed me in the day they opened back up and never made me feel rushed. My consultant was professional, would help me get in and out of dresses quickly, and wasn't pushy. They even had all the dresses I'd inquired about ready to go in my dressing room by the time I arrived!

They did a good job with the clips, and though I'm not a tiny size, they made me look good in every dress I tried on. They were knowledgeable about potential alterations and even found the perfect veil for the dress I chose. I'm glad that they provide alterations on site. When I was deciding between 2 different dresses, multiple staff members voiced their opinion in a very helpful manner, discussing the style/theme/appropriateness for the venue.

This was the first stop we went to on my sister's dress search and she almost left in tears. The girl who was helping us was nice, but she kept taking off and added nothing to the experience. One of the other bridesmaids ended up going into the fitting room and doing the sales person's job. We have since gone to another store (which I'm not allowed to mention or yelp will delete my review) and the experience has been completely different. My sister is smiling and getting the bride experience she deserves!

Best Allure shop I've found with amazing prices! Don't let the not-so-glamorous facility fool you, this place is top notch!

This was the first place I went to, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Rachel, my consultant, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all things wedding dress related. The entire process started with being handed colored rings to clip to the dresses I wanted to try on. I went with a large group of friends and family, and I was able to give each of them a clip in order to try on a variety of dresses.

I was open minded to what kind of dress I wanted, so this was a fun process for everyone to feel included. Rachel assisted me with trying everything on, and was able to address what I liked and disliked about each dress. From there, she walked through the store and selected additional dresses that she believed I would like all staying within my budget.

At the end of the night, I had four dresses that I truly liked, so she wrote them down on a personalized card, so when I came back for their trunk show, I would be able to try them on and make a final decision.

Rachel was amazing! From the minute we walked in she was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgable! She made the whole experience of finding my dress easy and enjoyable! Every question I had she was able to answer which made ordering my dress easy! Great collection of dresses and in addition to Rachel, the rest of the staff all seem to really know bridal gowns and are eager to help! I definitely recommend anyone looking for their wedding dress starts here!

Terrible customer service. Workers were clearly talking about numerous clients in a negative way. Workers had a snooty attitude for a less than par bridal studio with folding chairs.

The customer service at this shop was the worst I have ever received. I understand it's a Saturday and we didn't have an appointment, but that is no excuse for making customers feel unwelcome. We waited 30 mins for a room and were told we had 30 mins to try on bridesmaid dresses. On our way out, after 30 mins, we heard two clerks discussing our party in a negative manner. Extremely unprofessional as well as overpriced.

Somehow the order for one of my bridesmaids' dresses got messed up, causing it to come in way later than it should have. Honestly, mistakes happen so that's not what bothered me. What bothered me is when I called to understand how it happened, I was spoken to like I was audacious for asking. And this being the third time I or one of my bridesmaids were treated rudely by them just takes the cake for me.

I can handle human error, but NOT a poor display of customer service to that extent. I'm sure the reason why I wasn't treated with the same regard as others is because I didn't buy my bridal gown from them (with good reason) but a good business wouldn't consider that a factor in how they treat a customer. (After all, I was a customer in ordering my bridesmaid dresses from there for the convenience of the majority of my bridesmaids who live in the area).

Like one of the previous reviewers of this establishment said, there are plenty of places in the Grand Rapids area to get bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses that treat their customers with professionalism.

I went to Bridal Gallery to find a gown for my wedding. They give you rings to place on the hangers of the dresses you like and a consultant will collect them as your browsing and put them in a room for you. Our consultant was very very nice and helped me into each gown and clipped the dress to fit me as some of them were not my size. She even pulled some dresses for me based upon the styles I liked. I didn't find my dress at that store but I did have a great experience!

Initially our experience with Bridal Gallery was very pleasant. While my daughter did not purchase her gown here, we did purchase 5 bridesmaids dresses and my mother-of-the-bride dress. Then came the alterations. The seamstress was extremely rude to one of the bridesmaids. The seamstress told our gal that she needed to lose weight, which was interesting seeing as the dress was to big, and that she asked to many questions.

At her fourth fitting, when it was apparent that no changes had been made to the dress, our bridesmaid asked to speak to the manager. With my daughter listening on the phone to the conversation, the manager told our gal to take the f. dress and get out of the store. Regardless of any interaction that may have taken place between the seamstress and the bridesmaid, no manager should be swearing at a customer like that, and out on the floor where all the customers can here her use unnecessary, foul language.

I was dissappointed with the quality of gowns. Many looked like they had been there for years and many outdated styles. The shower curtain rings on the dresses was strange and very inpersonal. I would say it seemed more like a clearance house of gowns. They did have some bridesmaids I liked but didn't have a good selection to tryon and the color I wanted was available for me to see before ordering.

My girls tried on a few dresses, but I couldn't bring myself to tryon any gowns there (It reminded me of shopping at TJ Max where you have to dig for an hour to find something) Not happening for my wedding gown! Once the service person realized I wasn't going to ger a gown there she just disappeared and we never say her after trying on the bridesmaids dresses.

Loved my experience here! Went in there to try on bridesmaids dresses and ended up getting my dress there as well 6 months later. They have a large selection and their prices are good and made even cheaper if you pay all up front. They helped me order a custom veil and everything came in sooner than they promised. Everyone was friendly and they steamed my dress and veil for me before the big day. Would reccommend to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience at this bridal shop, and I didn't even need an appointment! I grew up in Kentwood, and never realized this place had so many dresses. 10 aisles to be exact! They are sorted by style (strapless, lace, mermaid, pick-ups, straps, plus size, sale, clearance, etc.) When you walk into the store, you fill out a card with basic info (name, wedding date, etc.) and they give you colored rings to put on the hangars of dresses you want to try on, and they put them into the fitting room for you.

When trying on the dresses, the bridal consultant was very attentive, and even suggested other dresses I might like. The experience at Bridal Gallery was very laid-back, enjoyable, and I even think I found my dream dress there! This bridal shop is a must for local Grand Rapids brides!
