His photography skills took him to IBM as site photographer in Manassas. While at IBM his assignments were A/V producer, photographer, and 3-D animator.

As I approach my tenth wedding anniversary, I look back on the horrible experience I had with my wedding "photographers" (I know: five star rating? What? Keep reading). We hired Bruce Best Photography for our wedding who turned out to be complete scam artists. Luckily, since they were too lazy to show up to my wedding, they subcontracted Rick Martin to be there. Months later after not receiving or photos and after repeated BS excuses, I tracked them down and got some raw, unprocessed photos on a DVD.
Basically garbage. Months after that, at a friend's wedding, I saw that Rick was their photographer. I introduced myself and Rick was so relieved to meet me again. He had also been shafted by Bruce and Anyr Best (please be wary, they change names all the time) and wanted to get me the pictures he had taken. He did so at no charge despite not being paid.
The pictures were fantastic and I still look at them every day. I see based on his website that he has retired from wedding photography. I hope it's not because of my wedding, but I can understand why if so. I just wanted to drop a 5 star on him not only for his skill, which merits that alone, but also for his compassion. Thank you, Rick! We will always remember you!

Personally. I'm not a photo guy, but Rick made the process extremely easy! He directed me and my family of 7 with ease. The photos he took were dynamic and I could immediately tell that he was extremely experienced and enjoys his craft. All of the photos turned out great and I would definitely take my pictures with him again.
