Pacific Hills Banquet & Catering

I am not only a fan. I am a member. It's close to home, has fantastic views of the city and the wine is also good. I like their sparklings best. I had no idea this place was even on the old Alameda Naval Base until a girlfriend who I had met in Las Vegas back in 2010 and stayed friends with introduced me. I've taken over a dozen friends there myself and I've only been a member for 6 months. There is a nice eatery where you can purchase something to nosh while you drink your wine and watch the sun set. ENJOY!

I can say this is one of the very few places who knows how to make Falafel, the business owner is a very sweet lady, and her kids are fabulous specially her daughter, love this place and recommend for whoever looking for a Mediterranean food.

I attended an event here for a church gala dinner and was really impressed with the venue. It was large enough to accommodate our group and very spacious. The food was delicious! And the servers were polite and attentive (not like other places where you are trying to flag someone down). Decor was modern and the lighting also very high tech. It turned out to be a successful event for our church thanks to the reasonable prices.

We recently attended a wedding reception here. It was beautifullY designed, very spacious & airy, the waitors & waitresses were very patient & kind. Our dinner (stuffed chicken breast & steak) was perfectly seasoned & grilled, absolutely delicious.

I want to start by thanking Rod & Co. for existing. It wasn't long time ago that I had my wedding in the Pacific Hills banquet. I can only say wow, what an experience it was for us. The party floor is near the beach so we got a lot of outstanding pictures at the beach. The banquet hall was beautiful both outside and inside. The food was perfect, everyone was full and satisfied and they was filling in as soon as something was missing on the tables.

The service was ON TOP, we wasn't missing anything, The team and we basically agreed all the time, you know, girls are always picky and fussy about this big day of their lives. But you know what, this team know what they're doing, LITERALY. This is a day we're going to remember for a loooong time, a dream came true. It is thanks to Rod and his wonderful wife & Co. Thank you thank you thank you thank you with all our hearts.

Doesn't look like much when you pass by, however I was none-other than IMPRESSED with not only the polite service, but also the delicious Mediterranean food as well! You can tell it is authentic and that they put a lot of time in making customers happy. I want to stress how polite and welcoming the owners were. It felt much like a community instead of just a quick place to come, eat, and leave. I am very satisfied with my time at the bistro!

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is yummy and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.

We held our annual holiday party at Pacific Hills Bistro, Banquet and Catering and it was fantastic! The food was amazing. Several of our associates have remarked how delicious the chicken was and the great drinks! Rod worked with our budget to provide us an excellent holiday event. This is the second event we have held at Pacific Hills and we have never been disappointed in the service and style. Thank you for a terrific event!

We have had nothing but a great experience with Rod and Pacific Bistro. Everything has been great and as we were able to choose all our own vendors for our wedding. He was very helpful giving us extra options. Our wedding is in 2 days and we're both extermly excited. Thank you Rod and everyone at Pacific Bistro.

I would like to personally thank Rod, Mona, and the entire staff at Pacific Hills Bistro, Banquet & Catering for their exceptional service, attention to detail, and overall positive experience. We had our wedding here and Rod provided us with everything we needed to have an incredible experience. From the belly dancer to the DJ, to the food - the attentive staff did everything they could do to cater to the needs of our 350 unique guests.

While our wedding was a couple of months ago, we continue to receive high marks from family and friends who made the trip to California to be with us on our special day. Based on their amazing and positive experience, three of our SoCal guests are planning to have their anniversary parties at Pacific Hills Bistro and Banquet Center! Not only do we frequent the bistro for lunches, we had the team cater our Superbowl party because the food is so amazing! May Rod, Mona and the entire staff enjoy continued success!

Service was very friendly and helpful. I had the lamb Kabob. It was delicious. There were six of us and everyone was happy with their meal. The fries got tons of great comments. One friend said they were the best she had ever had! We will all go again.

Pacific Hills is a beautiful location. It's tucked in the corner of a strip mall next to the DMV and is much bigger than it looks from the outside and is really quite lovely inside. My church held a prayer night here and the staff was awesome. They were very accommodating and friendly! The food from the cafe was delicious!

I had the very nice opportunity of experiencing this restaurant while standing in line at the DMV. Without knowing I was offered a Starbucks sample and a sample of one of the best falafel wraps I have ever had. My wife and I have tried many Mediterranean restaurants in OC and we have found few places that serve good falafel. This is one of the best and I found out why directly from the owner Mona. Pacific Hills Bistro's falafel is made from scratch with herbs and vegetables that make it green and authentic.

I will be back soon to try their lamb as their chicken shawarma was tender and had authentic spices. Not to mention they have a full Starbucks bar and it is newly renovated. I also found out they deliver through GrubHub and I know with our kids we will have it delivered as well. Thank you again Mona!

We attended a special event at Pacific Hills. This place is amazing! Beautiful decor, helpful staff and a great layout. If you're looking to book a special event, look no further. This the spot.

If there was zero stars I think I would give it to this venue. And this review is primarily for the owner. I called over a month ago to schedule a visit. He seemed nice over the phone. He even said sorry you can't come today we partied too hard last night. Then I text called twice to see the venue and then he was in San Diego and there was construction on the site.

Fast forward to my scheduled appointment which was today he said sorry my team is in Palm Springs for an expo. Are you kidding me?!? This doesn't make any sense. He is sloppy, irresponsible and clearly doesn't know how to run the business. If you are planning this venue for your wedding or want to use their catering services don't. Trust me not worth the headache. He may have a "nice" venue but customer experience is WAY more important to me that just that.

We had our wedding at pacific Hills banquet, sadly, I must say it's one of the biggest regrets I've had. We had been warned to have all decisions written down, or Rod (manager) will skew his way out of any verbal contract. This guy is a big scam artist. He took our deposit, hasn't given it back, despite our multiple attempts to contact him.

He never provided security as it was written on the contract. He forbid the lights off the ENTIRE time the dance floor was open. He had blamed us for one of his benches being broken, when this bench was in an area he didn't allow anyone to be in. He also painted a fantasy when we initially met him, saying the entire banquet hall would be of our use during the time slot we paid for, yet he locked up certain areas. He rushed us through the entire wedding day :( This guy is a nightmare to work with, think twice before booking here.

I paid $150.00 to see Rami Ayash singing there tonight, he started singing at 11:30 pm and stopped exactly at 12:25 pm so it was 55 minutes only. This is a total ripp off, cheating, and in fact fraudulent from both the sponsor & the owners of Pacific Hills who provided a very lousy food it seems food served at a hospital or convalacent senior citizens homes.

I will never step a foot there ever again, the is CHEATING, . I will be writing about my experience on face book, all over Twitter and all social media. I don't tolarate it when people cheat I feel the whole world should know about their scams.

This place is unassuming from the outside. On the inside however, the place is gigantic. Spacious with a sort of modern decor. Perfect for a banquet dinner, wedding reception, or conference. The place probably fits about 150-200 people. The service was impeccable and the staff was great. This place caters and serves Mediterranean cuisine. The plating was great, appetizers( hummus, baba ganoush, falafels, salad and a potato dish I forgot the name of) were amazing.

Main entrees (chicken and beef shish kabobs) were tasty and not dry. Im not a big fan of dry kabobs. Servers were very snappy and efficient once the meals were done. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to host a big party or reception.

For an elegant location for your event you must come here. No hidden fees or charges. Excellent food and service. Staff is very accommodating for your venue. Many options for linens and layout. Venue has AV, PA system, bars, dance floor.

If you want a middle eastern food that is really tasty with a lot of flavor try this place A lot of options I tried their falafel. really amazing Love it And if the falafel is that good I think everything else is good

Wow The most tasteless oily awful falafel I've ever had in my life! Hummus was just dreadful. Some strange watery sauce/dip was given and that was like eating chalk. Meat was a combo of dry oily and yuck. The girl there can't pronounce anything, doesn't know anything, prices are wayyyyyyyyyy tooooo high for what you get specially since it's so bad! I'd rather not be treated so poorly and given awful food plus ripped off. Thank you.

I was fortunate enough to do my wedding at this location. My wife and I were very happy with Rod's help. He is prompt to answer your phone calls and help you out. They did an amazing job to make our wedding special and met all of our requests. I would highly recommended this venue for anyone who is looking to make their wedding night extra special. P.S. The venue is absolutely gorgeous as well

We recently had my parent's 50th anniversary event at Pacific Hills and we were very happy with the outcome. Rod and Fares made sure the event run as planned. They were both very helpful during event. My guests commented on how beautiful the venue is and how great the food was. I really appreciated their high attention to detail and amazing customer service. Thank you so much Rod and Fares for making that night so special for my family and friends. My parents are so delighted and appreciate all of your support!
