Preferred Party Rentals

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was told they could accommodate my order and two days later I get an email saying they couldn't with no real explanation. I've heard some negative reviews but since they're local I thought I'd give them a chance. Don't waste your time!

The people in the office are really nice and professional. The tables and chairs are nothing fancy. Some of the tables just need to be replaced instead of still being rented out.

I received a quote on 5/31/21 and it stated that I needed to sign and return the paperwork by 6/1/21. The paperwork was completed and emailed on 6/1/21 during business hours. I finally was able to reach them today 6/2/21 to confirm and was told it was too late and they didn't have anyone to deliver the rentals to my party on 6/6/21. Total disappointment. I would not recommend

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I had a contract with them for a party tent along with table and chair rentals. They had the audacity to call me a week before this event to tell me they can't do the party. Now I am scrambling to find someone to help me and we all know what it's like at graduation time to find this. I have 40 people coming to my home and if I can't find anything, I'll be forced to cancel because this company doesn't know how to run a business. Disgusting business practices! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

We did business with this place five years ago, I had no problems. But now, the woman that took my order was really nice, but she's the only good thing that came out of doing business with this company. This time around the new management is absolutely horrible! I was promise the tent the day before the celebration. He called and promise us that the tent would be here before 12 on the day of the event.

The day of the event he called and promise us by 2 the tent would be delivered, but the size that we ordered would not be available and asked if it was okay to give us a smaller size. We agreed. The tables and chairs arrived two hours before the event. When I called to see what's going on he made up excuses Then around 4 he called to tell me that the tent would not arrive until 6, the event started at 6.

First the tent would arrive at 12, 1, 2 then finally he said 4, the tent never came! I prepared all months for this event they made things harder and stressful. And the money I paid for the package was way too high and the stress and anxiety that came with it was not worth it. If you are looking for a tent do not call this place, it's not worth the aggravation! you're better off buying your own tent, which we had to do! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! IT'S BAD SERVICE! BAD MANAGEMENT! That Monday we did get reimbursed on our down payment. That is one good thing the manager did.

Do not rent from this place. I rented from them in August and had no issues. This time not so much. I ordered a package that included 30x30!tent sides tables and chairs the day before my event. Well the tent and tables with chairs came but no sides. They called after I questioned the delivery people and said the sides would be here by 10 the next day.

Well they arrived at 1120 and weren't even the right size. They put them on and left them just hanging with the excess on the ground blueing in the wind. We had to put stuff around on the to keep them from blowing. When I emailed them to complain and ask for a discount they said that they are short on sides and did the best they could. Gave me ten dollars off of the two sides due to time inconvenience. I'm sorry but they should have had the right sizes since ordered the over a month ago. We will no longer be dealing with this place. So if need to rent DO NOT from here.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Preferred Party Place. I had reached out for a quote for an upcoming party and received our quoted contract which states in bold "Quote valid for 30 days". So, less than a week and a half after receiving that quote, I go back to lock in the supplies and pay for it. I am told that they could no longer take new delivery orders for the week of our event.

I was also told that everything is based on availability, which is not stated anywhere on the contract or in the previous emails I had received. If I had known this extra bit of information, that time was of the essence and I didn't have 30 days, I would have acted quicker to lock the delivery in. I was falsely relieved thinking I had 30 days to decide when within less than a week and a half the delivery was no longer available.

I think Preferred Party Place needs to do some rewording on their contract and emails as to not mislead their customers. Luckily I didn't wait until the last minute to do this so I had time to find another party supplier. TNT Rental quickly saved our party and TNT Rental was so much easier to work with. I feel like we dodged a bullet on this one.

I have always rented from Preferred Party rentals. The service is great. The only issue I had this time was I rented satin chair covers and alot of them had rips. Thank God I was putting chair sashes around the chair covers because you were not able to see the rips.

We rented rugs and a room divider for our party - the delivery went smoothly. However, I was annoyed to see that one of the rugs ended up being stained and the wrong size. The delivery guys immediately had the manager on the phone with me. She apologized and also gave me a steep discount since it was too late to replace it, and i needed something for the event. IMHO, oftentimes i get the runaround when there's a problem, so I am SO happy that Preferred Party Rentals go out of their way to provide good customer service. I will definitely use them again!

I rented a tent, chairs, tables, linens, and portable toilet for an outdoor bridal shower. Overall the process of ordering the equipment was simple and Michelle was a great help. The only negative review is that the equipment is not in the best of shape. You are charged a damage waiver fee when most of the equipment is already damaged. Some of the chairs didn't work or had gum/stains on them, the tables were all scuffed up and bent, the tent had rips and holes in it, etc. overall they served their purpose, but for spending a decent amount of money the equipment should not look like that.

Mike, Thank you so much for making my party a success. The tent, tables, chairs, and blue linens looked awesome for my husband's surprise birthday party. The DJ loved the stage, and my guests loved the dance floor. I could not get them to go home. Tell Michelle and Kristin thank you for all their help. Your delivery crew was awesome. They were on time for the delivery and the pick up of the rental equipment.

It was a pleasure working with your company. I will definitely do business with your company again and I will share your business information with my friends and coworkers. It is hard to find a good business today who cares about their customers. I am glad I found Preferred Party Place.
