As professional photographers for more than 30 years, Michael's Studio has been selected as one of Lansing's featured merchants the past five years. Michael focuses on creating images that subtly combine classic posing with a natural response. Michael spent two years training with one of the country's leading wedding and portrait photographers, Monte Zucker.

Monte's influence enhanced Michael's ability to bring inner beauty to the surface of his images. During a recent television interview at Michigan State University's Kellogg Center, a reporter asked Michael, "Why do you make photographs?"

Bees Report

I met Brett before the wedding. I had photographed Nicole yearly since childhood so the wedding took on a very special meaning. Her father also taught me the art of bowling. Providing images for this family was like 12 strikes, the wedding was perfect.

Bat Mitzvah Report

A bar/bat mitzvah is an incredible family event. The event directly translates as the son or daughter of the commandments. A child becoming an adult only happens once in a lifetime and we at Michael's Studio feel proud to be part of that day.

Children Report

We dote on them constantly. Children's images are framed, carried around in our wallets and purses, stuck on the refrigerator and sent to other family members. How can you look at a child's face and not smile?
