Baryames News and Clothing was established in 1922 in downtown Lansing Michigan. In addition to a Newstand, the store would shine shoes, block hats, press pants and coats. In later years the business branched out into Dry-Cleaning and Men's Formalwear. Today Baryames Tuxedo has a Lansing area location that offers the finest quality men's and boy's formalwear and suits for rental and sale.

$169 for 11 pieces. First time I went to this cleaner. The cleaning was fine. I just came here from Chicago and I would have paid 1/3 of the price in a historically expenses city. They didn't tell me how much until I received an email with the cost. I thought it was a mistake! Kind service. Just not worth that much!

I had a large quilt and a blanket that needed dry cleaned. They were super friendly, had a drive thru, and we're open on a Saturday which checks all of my boxes. My items were ready by noon on Monday which was pretty fast after dropping off on a Saturday afternoon. Prices were very reasonable. Drop off and pick up were super simple and fast. I don't use the dry cleaners a lot because of the inconvenience and time. But the way this place works is great. I plan on taking more items there as needed.

Service is good and quick, but the prices are outrageous for shirts and pants. Plus, the prices aren't displayed anywhere online or via pickup/drive-thru so I have no idea if I'm being correctly charged. I present coupons from their website and receive no confirmation that the discount was applied. 1 suit and 2 dress pants were $42 after providing coupons for "2pc suits $14.99 and up" and "15% off entire order."

Extremely unsatisfied. brought jeans in with crease in them, from heavy starch. Young lady told me on the first try to pick up that they didn't crease jeans unless told. Ok so we redo it for the second time. And this was the results. Jeans in middle is what heavy starch with crease looks like. Black jeans I did myself with regular iron. Other blue jeans is what I received back. so in other words I just gave yall $42.00 to wash and hang up [4] pair of jeans.

I had a small, what they considered formal dress, dry cleaned. It was over $42 to be done. Mind you this dress had no beading, attachments and wasn't badly soiled. The dress itself was hardly more than the cleaning bill when first purchased. In hindsight, I should have asked what the cost was going to be.

Mixed review: Friendly professional staff. Patient. My items came back clean and packed in these great zippered bags. I was told my items would be ready at 4 the following day but got a text at 11 saying "your order is ready for pick up". Cool. After fighting my way thru cross town traffic I found out only part of my drop off was ready. The rest would be available at 4. Not the end of the world but annoying to have to make two trips. Kinda pricey in their services too. IMHO.

The handling of errors is terrible! Their manager will come to your HOME and deliver letters to your children if their is any error with your rental. They will threaten you with police action regardless of your communication to fix any errors. Completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time or hard earned money. Lesson learned, go to a professional establishment for your special day needs.

Wow! This is by far the best tux rental establishment within 50 miles or more. The lady who helped my son and I was great. She WENT WAY ABOVE & BEYOND. SEARCHING THROUGH CATALOGS AND EVEN BRINGING OUT MATERIAL SAMPLES. She knows her profession. He was a SHOW STOPPER! Thanks again, I don't have her name but I think her initials are KB.

I cannot thank Kelli enough for the work she did even with being so busy with Prom season. I had the honor of having her work on my military ASU uniform for my Commissioning Ceremony at Michigan State University last week and her work was top notch and the turn around time was directly on point with what we had agreed on. I'll most certainly be telling people to go to Baryames for any work they need done in the future. Thank you so much for getting everything done for me and you guys are most certainly the best in the area.

Good service. fair price. nice selection. if they don't have what you are looking for, they will get it. you can rent as well as purchase. very friendly. no complaints. they belong to the baryames umbrella of companies, which includes dry cleaning and similar services, so they can (and will) help you after the sale. 4 stars.
