This was my second dress shopping appointment and I was extremely disappointed. I felt dismissed from the second I walked in. This place feels like a revolving door.as though they are just trying to crank through appointments. Lydia was the consultant helping us and it all just felt so impersonal and "salesy". Her energy was very strange and the entire experience was very disingenuous.

I was looking for a plain, classic dress and Lydia pulled about 2 for me and then pretty much sent me on my way out the door. She seemed so checked out from me and my group and we felt very unwelcome. The second she realized they didn't have much inventory for what I was looking for, she left my group sitting there and moved onto the next appointment at the counter. I would not recommend going here in the slightest.

Katie was an amazing consultant. She DEFINITELY knew her stuff. She was helpful and SOOOO accommodating for my needs. I'm a huge fan of this place and will forever recommend!

I actually ended up not getting my dress at Jodi's, but I'm so glad my first experience trying on dresses was here. I really appreciated the separate space for each bride, the comfortable seating for family/friends, the selection of dresses was amazing and my consultant made the appointment a dream. You don't feel like a number here. Had customer service been the only determining factor, I'd have gotten my dress here! I found my dress elsewhere, but was actually quite put off by their customer service, process and overall selection after my experience with Jodi's.

Awesome experience with Katie she is a Jewel she knows the exact dress that fit my body and style. This is my 2nd experience with her and the 1st experience was out of this world customer Service with my best friend in March 2021. My daughter and myself had the best experience here. The entire staff were amazing and so helpful. They did not rush us and we're not pushy. Their selection of gowns was very expressive and my daughter found the wedding gown of her dreams. Thank you for making my daughter happy.

Absolutely love place! First stop for wedding dresses - found it within an hour. Katie is incredible, and helps you find a dress that perfectly matches your style that makes you feel beautiful. Definitely go here if you are looking for a dress!

My beautiful friend visited Jodi's bridal for her first wedding dress appointment ever this past Saturday 9/18. I was present as her MOH. The consultant Lydia made her feel everything but beautiful and bridal. She made several comments on my friend's size and budget that were incredibly inappropriate. Thankfully she found a dress she loved the following day at Mount Pleasant Bridal. I do not want any other bride to feel the way my friend felt this past weekend. I do not recommend.

**1 Star Review** I had a terrible time. As a 1st time bride I did not know what to expect, but I know I shouldn't have left feeling embarrassed. I had emailed the shop prior to booking my appointment as I am a mid-sized bride on a budget. They said they had options for me in my size and price range. I set the appointment a month and a half in advance. Lydia was my consultant and did not make me feel great about myself or my wedding.

There were multiple comments about my body as well as price point. At one time she even suggested, in front of my family and friends, that I ask others for money so that I could afford a dress there. She was very pushy and aggressive. Even though the dress was at the top end of my budget she was still trying to up sell me accessories. I did find a dress there that I liked and probably would have bought it if I had a better experience. **UPDATE: Besty, the manager, has reached out to me to apologize for my experience.

She informed me that she has spoken to the consultant. She offered for me to come back in with her as my consultant to give me a better experience. I did decline her offer as I have have already found THE dress at another bridal shop.

I had a private appointment for a larger group with Lydia as my consultant. She was extremely kind and accommodating to everyone and provided champagne for my guests and I, and also gifted me white roses. Lydia picked the perfect dresses out for me and when it came down to making my final decision between two I loved, she gave me advice that really helped me choose my wedding gown. I cannot say enough kind things about Lydia! I highly recommend going to Bridals by Jodi to find your wedding gown!

I went to Bridals by Jodi as my first stop for wedding dress shopping, and it ended up being my only stop. I didn't know exactly what I wanted apart from lace and non-strapless. I was able to try on many dresses and finally found the one I loved: Allure Bridals style 9609. The dress was $2250, but I was able to purchase one off the rack for 40% off.

I took it to Nadya D in Mt. Pleasant for alterations. I also picked up a veil at Bridals by Jodi which complemented my dress well. I was very pleased with my purchase at Bridals by Jodi and would recommend the store to others!

I had made appointments at 3 places in Charleston to try on dresses and this was the first one I went to. After trying on a few, I found my dream dress here and it was in my price range. I still went to the other appointments, but I came back to try the dress on one more time and I knew it was right! Rachel was my dress consultant and she was awesome!

She wasn't pushy about buying a dress, whereas the consultants at some other places were. She was honest and genuine and a pleasure to work with. I enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend Bridals by Jodi. They have great selection and service!

We made an appointment at Bridals by Jodi on a whim when I was in town visiting family and I found my dress! Kayla was so helpful and patient with my family and I. The store was very clean and followed all the appropriate COVID protocols to make for a safe and pleasant experience. I definitely would recommend buying from here if you are looking! They were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure a fun and safe experience for all! Check them out!

I had such a great time wedding dress shopping here (July 2018)! I had a classic case of "girl drives by wedding dress store every day on commute and dreams of having one of the dresses in the window". Anyway, they were so helpful and patient while I was trying on dresses - each one numerous times. She even brought me a dress I hadn't seen (I ended up not picking it).

I received a lot of help figuring out which style was best for me and my wedding. I ended up getting a one-of-a-kind dress another bride decided she didn't want and it was the dress of my dreams! They even held it for me for 6 months- a relief in a city that floods so frequently to know it would be safe during hurricane season.

Bridals by Jodi is absolutely fantastic! Katie was WONDERFUL, and I highly recommend requesting her to help you pick out your dress! She put me in all sorts of different dresses to make sure I tried a little bit of everything on to get a feel for what I liked! I ended up not in what I would have thought I would be in, so I am glad I tried different dresses! Bridals by Jodi has a wonderful variety of dress styles & prices, so there is something here for everyone! They also have bridesmaid dresses. : I highly recommend making Bridals by Jodi a stop in your wedding dress shopping!

This place is absolutely incredible. Katie helped us and was the kindest person ever! She made the process so easy, completely accommodated for our budget, and picked dresses for me based off of the ones i picked that i ended up loving! She also accommodated for my large party that joined me! It was my first ever time trying on dresses and i ended up purchasing my dream dress (that was also in my budget). overall a 10/10 experience and i recommend Bridals by Jodi to everybody!

Phenomenal selection of dresses. Lots of styles all within an affordable price range. I was so nervous about dress shopping because it is a huge deal to pick THE dress. Every time I went into a dress shop I would panic, and while I started to here, from the beginning they made it very calm, easy-going, and fun! They start by handing you little clothespins and then explain how their dresses are arranged, and then you go and pin your favorites.

They pull the ones you pin and you try on from there. They were so kind and fun throughout the whole thing and they kept me feeling happy and positive the whole time. I went to a few other stores after but ultimately came back and bought my dream dress from them! They also helped me save money with my short timeline and ordered a shorter dress that didn't have to be express shipped and it's such the perfect length that I don't have to pay to have it hemmed!

It fits almost perfectly so alterations (they have someone who does theirs) has been incredibly cheap! So happy with my experience at Bridals by Jodi and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for their dress! 10/10

Bridals by Jodi is the best place to shop for your wedding gown. I purchased my gown in February 2018. Katie and Rachel were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. I used the seamstress they recommend, Kyra, and she also did an incredible job on my dress alterations. My wedding was this past November and the dress was truly the dress of my dreams.

The day was a fairytale and I can thank Bridals By Jodi and Kyra Elizabeth for being a huge part of that and making the vision come true. I highly recommend going to Bridals By Jodi! Thank you Rachel, Katie, and Kyra!

This place is a joke. They need to be careful who does the seamstress work. They have a person there that is very nasty, does not listen and when they do the wrong thing they don't honnor the work and correct it. This person is a joke and makes the shop look very bad. Get a clue

Unfortunately, this was not an ideal wedding dress shopping experience. The appointment before me was running late, but I do not fault the shop for that. Everyone was very apologetic. The only question the consultant asked me when I arrived was, "What do you have in mind?" I showed her some photos on my Pinterest board and that was the end of the discussion.

She never asked my size or budget. She never pulled any dresses for me, my group and I did all of that. And she never told me that dresses on silver hangers are sold "as is, " size and condition. This was disappointing because I had three dresses in the fitting room on silver hangers. The consultant rushed me between dresses and never offered to put anything back on the hangers.

She did not use any clips or accessories to help me have a better idea of how the dresses would fit. The most disappointing part of the entire appointment was the tiny sample sizes. Knowing that bridal sizing is much different normal clothing, it seems logical to order larger samples that more brides can fit. Sample sizes 6-8 make it impossible for anyone larger than a normal 8 to have an idea of how a dress will fit. It leaves a curvy bride feeling incredibly self conscious and frustrated on what it supposed to be one of the happiest days of her entire wedding process.

Conveniently located beside Mex 1 to fight off any hangar situations. Jodi's was awesome! My attendant met with us and told my party and I to look around and let her know if we saw anything I should try on. She pulled soooo many dresses for me to try on without complaint. She also stuck to dresses within my budget ($1000) that she pulled for me to try on.

She was also upfront with me about things I was trying on (it was over budget, it didn't have lace that I wanted, etc), it was a very good experience. When I went back the following day to order my dress (after trying on dresses at a few other places), they were happy to let me put the dress back on and see how it would look with particular accessories (colored sash, no veil, etc). I said yes to the dress AND it was under budget. #win

Such a helpful and accommodating group! I made a last minute appointment and Haley spent almost two hours helping me navigate through my first wedding dress experience. I would definitely recommend this boutique to anyone! They have a great selection as well.

I pass Bridals by Jodi all the time and was excited to go. I had an appointment after work on Friday, so maybe this is why, but I was very disappointed. The consultant didn't ask my price point, style of dress, or anything at all and let me wander the store alone. She disappeared and I actually had to pull the dresses I wanted myself without knowing the price.

What a waste of time! All the consultant did was pin me into the dress, otherwise she was no help. Dresses were very dirty as well. I went to 3 other bridal stores in town and would recommend any of them over Bridals by Jodi. I did find a dress there I liked, but decided I wouldn't go back and be treated like that so I bought a dress elsewhere.

I had a once in a life time experience here. They had no reason to be nice to me here. I walked in with no appointment and a very small budget and needed to leave with a dress that day, plus I had just had a baby and nothing should have fit me. I honestly left there with a huge smile on my face. They found the dress of my dreams. It was perfect for me. They were nothing but kind to me and I'm only writing this because I was blown away with how amazing they made my big day.

I had a specific dress in mind for my wedding. No other salon had this dress, but Bridals by Jodi had it featured in one of their trunk shows. I had to custom order the dress and the process was super easy. They did everything and kept me informed of when it was ordered to when it came in. The staff there are absolutely wonderful. They are personable, friendly, and want every bride, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride to have the best experience possible.

I also got my bridesmaid dresses from them. Even though I had a little hesitation about the color of the dresses when they came in, they were perfect. They also have a seamstress that works with them so that took some of the stress off of me to find a seamstress for my dress alterations. I would recommend this bridal salon to anyone looking for a wedding, bridesmaid, flower girl, or mother of the bride dress.

These ladies are professional and complete sweethearts. Knowledgeable, patient, prepared. I didn't spend a lot of $$$$ on my dress (under $1,000) and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever worn! And I'm ready for my wedding TWO MONTHS in advance- they get the job done. Go here. You will be so happy you did. Even got my bridesmaid dresses and got a discount!

After a few disappointing experiences in Savannah & statesboro. I contacted Jodi's to see if they had a dress I had seen online to try on. They did and held it for me until I arrived. Brittany was amazing. Great spirit about her. She had me try on 4 dresses prior to trying on the one I called about. All were beautiful dresses & she was even honest when one didnt look great. haha.

Which I realllllly appreciate. Luckily when I tried on the dress. it was THE DRESS. Good price ($1k) but looks like 10x more expensive. She really made the appointment enjoyable. Getting nervous with me and my 2 guests when it was time to try on the dress- and celebrating with us when it was perfect. I ordered my dress and it came in a timely fashion- and I was notified immediately. Kuddos kuddos kuddos! - I cannot review the alterations department because I'm lucky enough to fit into the dress without any.

My best friend and I went on our very first outing to try on wedding dresses while we were out of town in Charleston. I made an appointment with the shop and they were very conscientious about following up with me regarding the appointment. When we arrived they were ready to start our consultation. Brittany was the young lady who helped us and she was really a JOY to work with.

Fun and helpful. We were basically by ourselves for most of our experience but even as they started to get a little busier. I never felt like the focus wasn't on my bride. They were definitely not pushy like the other reviews said. Brittany made some great choices and gave helpful guidance on trying on the dresses. My only complaint would be the store probably needs a little internal facelift to make it look a little nicer on the inside - in the dressing room and organization of the racks but overall we had such a fantastic experience and the prices were great. I would recommend anyone who actually lives in the area to go to Bridals by Jodi.

This place was outstanding when I purchased my wedding dress. It was the first place I tried on dresses and after experiencing most of the other bridal shops in Charleston, I went back to purchase my dress from Jodi's. They had a great selection and helpful consultants that weren't too pushy. Despite other customers, they made us feel like we were the only ones in the store. I always recommend them!

The best bridal place in the city. I was in from out of town helping a friend find her wedding dress. Many other places were pushy, snobby, or crowded. This place was awesome. She tried on a ton of dresses, came back to show her mom, and they remembered everything from the visit. The staff were knowledgeable about order times and dates, unlike some of the other shops, who gave wishy washy answers. I'm used to being talked down to in dress shops, because I don't have 5K.

Not here! They valued our under $500 purchase just as much as the woman buying a very pricy (and beautiful) dress. Don't waste your time at other places. This is a locally owned business and they know what they are doing.
