My wife and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Folly Beach, SC. I surprised my wife with a vow renewal and hired Dennis to capture the moment. Our experience with him cannot be described in words but I'll try. His energy was absolutely amazing and did not at all feel like a stranger. We would absolutely use him again. His assistant was also super polite and a pleasure to be around. You absolutely need that type of professionalism and comfort from a photographer in order to take natural looking photos. I hired Dennis to capture my marriage proposal at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. It went better than I could have hoped for, and we have beautiful photos and video to capture the experience forever. Dennis was easy to work with both in planning and after the session. He went above and beyond during our photo session, capturing the moment of the proposal, and then taking us to all of his favorite sites in the garden for additional photos, all the while promoting a joyful and fun experience. I highly recommend his photography services, and think he offers a great value for his work.

Dennis was an excellent photographer and an even better person from start to finish. I got engaged this weekend, not to my knowing, and Dennis was the photographer for the event. He was funny and really eased all the tensions for my now fiance. We met with him the day after taking pics and he is just such a delight to deal with. We highly recommend him to anyone for any sort of pictures/videos. He is absolutely first in line when it comes to thoughts of photographers for our wedding.

For my engagement, the photographer canceled at the last minute. Dennis came to the rescue at a moments notice! He scouted the proposal location beforehand for the best spots to take pictures even on such short notice making the moment magical. I, as the now fiance of a woman who loves taking pictures, has never loved to do so until Dennis made the process so enjoyable! It was an overall fantastic experience that I would recommend to everyone who asks for a photographer in the area!

Dennis did an OUTSTANDING job of taking pictures of my fiance proposing to me. He not only recommended the location for him to propose to me but captured the moment discretely so I wouldn't catch on to what was about to happen. This once in a lifetime moment will be remembered so vividly partly due to his help. He helped us with our posing for pictures after the big moment and encouraged our love to be displayed through his lens. Amazing personality, talented with his ideas, and personable. 10/10 would recommend!

Dennis is amazing at what he does! His photographs of our engagement shoot surpassed our expectations. He knew the locations very well that we asked to shoot, and he knew spots, I would have not even thought to take photographs. The photos were absolutely stunning. He was professional, informative, and he had us laughing through our entire shoot. I had no idea the experience of taking our engagement photos could be so memorable for us as a couple. He captured memories we cannot wait to share with our family and friends.

My fiancé and I won a free session with Dennis. We were a little nervous and not sure what to expect at first as this was our first ever professional photographer we’ve ever met with. Dennis was awesome! It was never a dull or awkward moment. We had so much fun and it is a memory we will look back on for yours. Dennis was very accommodating for our family photo session. The venue was perfect and he was able to capture truly tender moments. He was great to work with, very flexible. He has a great sense of humor and was able to capture the love we have for each other and our sweet little family. He was easy to work with and he explained why he positioned you a certain way as to be able to capture the light just right or to be sure you weren't squinting in the photograph. WE enjoyed working with Dennis and Charleston Photo Art and look forward to other events with them.
