Music On The Move

Music on Move has done two events for me, a fundraiser and my wedding! My experience was a 10/10. Hobie was very professional and accommodating. He was friendly and knew exactly what information to get from me when I was in 'event planning' mode. I look forward to working with them again!

Hobie was incredible! He worked with us during quarantine to plan everything out and work with our budget including a payment plan to offset all of the week-of payment chaos. He also helped us fine-tune our music preferences and gave us worksheets to figure everything out in an organized way. We got more compliments about the music at our wedding than we did about our vows! Haha. He made our day perfect from the romantic ceremony music all the way through to the party where everyone danced all night.

Music on the Move wad so much fun at our wedding! They played all the songs we wanted and avoided what we didn't want. Once they began, no one was sitting!

We hired Music on Move for my husband's milestone birthday celebration. I shared with Hobie my vision for the event and he not only fully absorbed it, he expanded upon it offering suggestions to improve the flow of the evening and experience for the guests. He is a true professional who is responsive, reliable and even arranged a prior meeting at the venue to review the play list, walk through, and plan set up as part of the package.

He is unflappingly optimistic, charming and high energy. While I offered a list of songs I would like played at the event he mixed them and interspersed them with others in the same genre which kept people on the dance floor the entire evening. When I was running around, he would offer reminders for the scheduled speeches etc we had planned but can often be overlooked in the excitement of the evening.

Throughout the night, guests, who were dripping with sweat and exhausted from dancing, happily made their way over to ask me, "Where did you get that DJ?" "Music on Move, " I told them. They were outstanding!

Hobie was the dj at my wedding recently. He did an amazing job from helping with the planning to keeping the party going exactly how we asked. Great variety of music, I think he was mixing songs live! We received tons of compliments on the way he read the crowd and kept the energy up. Highly recommend!

New place above the karate studio is called The Rock House. Great for rehearsals and recordings.
