I just got married in Mexico and Tom was our photographer. He previously shot a wedding at the same resort and we loved his work. Instead of just having our wedding photographed, Tom took pictures for four days capturing so many memories. He is very reserved but professional and easy to work with. We have not seen the pictures yet but can't wait to see them.
It is very unnerving to read these negative reviews. I hope that all of you will have some resolution quickly! I also wanted to mention that I read on Tom's website that his father passed away on April 20th. That may also be the reason for the delay.

AVOID - RUN AWAY! Thomas Sanderson Photography was by far our WORST wedding vendor. Photography was SO important to us, now we don't even look at our wedding pictures because they remind us of Tom and how he treated us. We blame no one but ourselves for allowing this to happen as we ignored numerous RED FLAGS from the start with him. Once the wedding was over we NEVER heard from Tom.
His deadlines would come and go. nothing. Only after several e-mails and phone calls (he NEVER calls back BTW) would he reply with another deadline. and then proceed to brake that deadline. If you call him out on anything he becomes belligerent and totally unprofessional. The pictures he delivered were NOT of the quality he displays on his website. even the digital files say they were taken by Arthur Kim, odd. So, if you're still considering using Thomas Sanderson Photography we hope your experience is much better than ours. I never thought I'd cry over my wedding pictures but this guy sure made me. Thanks Tom!

My experience with Tom overall was quite unpleasant, and I would not recommend this photographer for your wedding day, unless you want a lot of headache after the wedding. I will explain why. Although the pics were overall ok (I was not crazy about them though), working with Tom left a bitter aftertaste, and was very frustrating. Everything went well until we paid the full amount on the wedding day.
After this, it was not possible to reach the photographer, he stopped responding to any calls and did not bother to return any calls. It was hard to reach him by e-mail too. It was so frustrating as he still owed us a photo album. It took him 6 month + to deliver the album after we submitted him the selected photos. He was not responsive, and at times he was rude to nasty to us during this process.
