Isadora's is amazing! I have purchased (or been gifted) multiple pieces from their store. Their customer service is second to none, and I always have a ball trying on pieces when I go in, never any expectation to buy. You can tell they truly love and appreciate antique jewelry. They have offered free written estimates of all their pieces for my insurance, and the value of their pieces and their knowledge of jewelry really shines through. I'll be going to Isadora's for years to come!

I discovered Isadora's about four years ago and have become a frequent customer. Their carefully curated selection of one of a kind antique jewelry, from the 18th century to the 1970s, is better than any other antique jewelry store I've ever visited. The people who run the store are friendly and helpful, and take the time to educate me on the history and gemology of the pieces.
And when I've needed pieces resized or repaired (which is not unusual, for 100+ year old jewelry that has been worn and loved), the service has always been prompt and professional. Love this place and will keep coming back for more!

I purchased my fiances engagement ring here, they were amazing! The ring came with an appraisal which we appreciated and the staff were quick and kind. We recently took the ring in to have it cleaned and they were literally fawning over the flawlessness and handcrafted elegance of this ring. 10/10 would recommend!

Isadoras offers absolutely exquisite/stunning jaw dropping antique jewelry. Their customer service is outstanding and if I could give them 10 stars, I would! I have been a customer of Isadoras for several years and can't recommend this shop highly enough. If you are looking for unique and gorgeous quality pieces you will not be disappointed with this shop. I am already looking for my next purchase. Thank you Isadoras!

I cannot say enough good things about this jewelry store and the people working in it! I went engagement ring shopping in Seattle and went to many jewelry stores but this was my absolute favorite! They were kind, informative, professional, and genuinely excited to help me find my ring. It was the little touches that really made this a magical experience- from steaming the ring, to tips for the best photos and then being on the line for a video call with my fiance these people really went above and beyond.
They shipped me the ring since I lived far away and it needed resizing. The whole process was very secure and they kept in touch the whole time making sure my ring got to me safely. And now, I have a beautiful, unique engagement ring that I hope will be passed down for generations. Thanks again to the ladies at Isadoras, you gals rock!

I stumbled into this beautiful store while visiting Seattle for the first time. Vivian was very helpful, sweet and patient with me. I browsed through several items and I bought nothing the first day. I came back before going home and got one of the rings I tried on. It's absolutely gorgeous with several mine cut diamonds that make up a leaf! After returning home, I continued to browse their website.
Just recently, I decided on a filigree bracelet. It was Fed-ex to my home within a few days. Again, I worked with Vivian who took pictures and video of the bracelet. I'm very happy with the pieces and the quality of service! I've had nothing but the best experiences!

We had such a great experience working with Isadora's where we purchased my wedding ring (which is my diamond solitaire, typically would be an engagement ring). It is a stunning and unique piece which I have not seen anything at all similar to it in all my online ring shopping. I first went in as things were closing down for the pandemic shopping around for ideas.
But over the course the last few months, everyone we worked with through the process of deciding on and purchasing our ring, was amazing. Communicative, flexible, and low pressure -- always a great combination when making a large purchase. We felt very cared for in the process of finding and purchasing THE ring, even in these crazier times.

I cannot say enough good about my experience here. I actually work for a jewelry company and decided to go with Isadora's for many reasons. I cannot stress this enough, their selection will be the first thing to grab your attention and it.is.fantastic! I was really interested in a vintage piece for my engagement ring. I browsed their inventory online to ensure they had the style I had been researching.
They had at least 15 different rings in the style I wanted, all completely different from one another. We were in and out of there in 30 minutes, they worked with us, didn't try to talk us into a higher priced item, just supported us and provided unparalleled service. I wanted to go home with it that day, I took it back the next day to have it sized and they had it back to me in less than a week. I couldn't recommend this establishment more if you're looking for a vintage piece that is truly unique.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. This was the first store I went to when searching for an engagement ring. I went to a few other places but I ended up coming back to Isadoras to make my purchase. They have a fantastic selection of unique estate jewelry which is exactly what I was looking for. My fiancee loves her ring and we will definitely be coming back to purchase her wedding band as well.

Hands down the best customer service! I love stopping in and seeing the unique and beautiful jewelry. My Boyfriend had spotted one of Isadoras advertisements in a magazine at our hotel and we went on their website and was really impressed with their selection. We went down to their store and tried on several rings with the help of a very knowledgeable Elizabeth. We ended up purchasing a beautiful Victorian ring that she had sized and shipped to NYC at no charge.
The experience couldn't have been more seamless and easy. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Vivian for handling and shipping the ring out so quickly. We will be back. Highly recommended!

This jewelry store is the only one you ever need. The pieces are all collected with quite an eye. The prices are unbelievably reasonable, and the old mine diamonds mean you don't have to have the environmental and social justice impacts on your conscience when you purchase what is sure to be a treasured piece. Elizabeth worked carefully with me to pick out a piece that my girlfriend is sure to love, and was flexible when I changed my mind a few times.
Their customer service matches the quality of their stunning jewelry. They size for free AND ship for free. There is nowhere else to go if you are looking for a gift for someone - or for yourself! I'm over the moon with this establishment.

I searched high and low for the perfect antique engagement ring and I found just what I wanted at Isadora's! Elizabeth was extremely helpful and made the entire experience smooth and pleasurable. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to see the collection in person if you can. Often times the pictures on the website can't pick up the vibrancy of certain pieces.
If you're not in Seattle, they can easily ship the piece to you to see in person. If you're looking for one of a kind pieces supported by excellent customer service, begin your journey at Isadora's! Thank you Elizabeth!

I searched high and low for the ring I wanted and I found it at Isadora's! I live in Phoenix and my best friend lives in Seattle. I sent her in on a recon mission to check it out. I cannot emphasize enough how it important it is to go into the shop and see their collection in person--sometimes the pictures cannot do justice to their exquisite collection! Elizabeth was so accommodating to my best friend and my fiance purchasing a ring long distance. Outstanding customer service, and beautiful jewelry! Thank you Elizabeth for being a part of our special day! My ring is perfect!

Isadora's is the best antique jewelry store with the best selection in the Seattle area. Laura and Elizabeth are mother/daughter partners who have been in antique jewelry for over 25 years. They are knowledgeable, funny and kind. If you visit their beautiful store, you will not experience any pressure to buy and you will leave with new knowledge of antique jewelry. They clearly love what they do (so do their lovely staff) and know how to treat their customers right. I would give them more stars if I could.

I LOVE Isadora's, they have such an amazing selection of just stunning and unique antique jewelry. If your in the market for an engagement ring this is your spot for a truly unique ring that has history behind it. I have spotted a few pairs of earrings in there that I am in love with as well. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they have a passion for what they do, they are always welcoming to let anyone come in and try on their art.

My long time partner proposed to me in January 2018 with a beautiful vintage diamond ring. He knows I love antiques so he made the right choice when he decided to go with a ring from Isadora's. A few weeks after he proposed, I decided to pop into Isadora's just to look around and thank the ladies for helping him out. To my surprise, when I said that he had just proposed a few weeks prior, they remembered my fiance and knew who I was because they recalled his proposal plans he had shared with them.
I thought that was very sweet and showed that they were attentive and really listened. After having the ring for about 4 months, one of the diamonds did fall out of its setting HOWEVER I luckily found the diamond and immediately brought the diamond and the ring into Isadora's. I love antiques and vintage items and I understand that a ring made around 1901 will potentially have this type of thing happen so I was not upset, I was very happy I was lucky enough to find the diamond for replacement.
The ladies at Isadora's were swift in taking the ring & diamond and sending it off for resetting. My fiance returned a week later to pick it up and he was not happy with the fact that the new prong was noticeably larger than the others (this was a given as the others were older), so the ladies at Isadora's agreed to send it back out to the jeweler again for some size reduction of the new prong.
We returned again in another week to see the results and it did look better and smaller but the ring was no longer uniform. The gal who wored with us (I believe Elizabeth) could tell I wasn't in love with the fact that it wasn't completely uniform and offered to have ALL of the prongs redone to secure the settings free of charge. This was a hard decision to make because I wanted to keep the ring as original as posssible but I also wanted to feel secure that it would hold strong for as long as possible so I agreed to have them all reset.
I picked it up in another week and it looks AMAZING! I am so in love with this ring and I am incredibly satisfied with the service we received from Isadora's. They went above and beyond to make sure we were fully satisfied and never got frustrated with how picky we were at times. They could have easily said "well you purchased the ring a while ago and we re not obligated to repair it" but instead, they helped us with no hesitation and really wanted to make sure we were happy.
I think it is crucial to understand that if you are going to purchase/own a piece of vintage jewelry, it may not be "perfect" and will require TLC. But that is what makes it so special and beautiful. If you're looking for a cookie cutter, generic, machine manufactured ring go to Zales. If you want unique, hand-made pieces with admirable features and a story behind them, go to Isadora's!

My engagement ring came from this amazing store. The staff was beyond patient with us over the two years it took us to finally decide which direction we wanted to go. We've revisited since being engaged, and the staff is as helpful and friendly as they were before the purchase. Charming location, unbelievable jewelry and excellent staff. The experience here is like none-other.

BUYER BEWARE! We bought a gorgeous "circa 1850 ruby yellow gold ring" (in quotes because that is what my ring was advertised as online by Isadora's) in November 2015 as my engagement ring. Fiance paid $1100 for it. Fast forward to 8/2017. We decide to have the ring appraised at Antiques Roadshow in Portland a few weeks ago. Went into the appraisal not thinking they'd say it's worth a ton but really to find out more about when it was made and where.
It had intricate cannetille detailing that was popular in the 1820s so I wanted to confirm the time period. As soon as Kevin Zavian (look him up, he's a pretty seasoned Antiques Roadshow appraiser & knows his stuff!) looks at it he makes a funny face and my stomach drops not knowing what to expect. He puts a meter to one of the 5 stones and NOTHING HAPPENS. Tries again. NOTHING. Puts the meter on the other appraisers sapphire ring and the meter goes off.
Why did my ring not register on the meter? Cause it was GLASS. I was beyond heartbroken and pretty humiliated, too! We popped into a fine jewelry store in downtown Portland where they too confirmed the stones were glass. The next day (Sunday) I called Isadora's and explained the situation. I was told to come in Tuesday11-11:30am to meet with Elizabeth (owner? manager?).
I come in Tuesday shortly after 11am and she's not there (why would she not be there knowing someone is coming in to meet with her regarding an alleged fake ring they sold?!) so the shop girl assists me and calls Elizabeth. The shop girl says to Elizabeth that perhaps the ring was sold as garnets (why that matters who knows?) but I had a print out from when the ring was online and it very clearly says RUBIES.
The shop girl explains to me that an item in the range of what we paid doesn't get appraised. I find that difficult to believe - they never got it looked at/appraised before reselling? They just blindly buy "fine jewelry" off the dealers without confirming what the heck they're getting? Zavian, the other appraiser and the jeweler in Portland were all able to confirm the stones were glass due to the gas bubbles in the stones by simply putting it under a microscope or magnifying glass. Elizabeth ended up walking the shop girl through a full refund over the phone.
So yeah we got a refund but I will never, ever shop there again. Even with the shop girl saying "we won't charge you commission" on our next purchase. I had formed an emotional attachment to my ring but I couldn't justify the cost and keeping it. We were duped and I can't help but to think they knew the ring was glass, we trusted a shop that is considered reputable.
I am grateful we were able to get a full refund without a fight. If you must purchase from them (don't!) please, please, please insist on getting an appraisal from an outside appraiser of your choice!

Very beautiful jewelry! Very friendly, welcoming, and passionate staff. Allowed me to try on whatever I wanted, even let me see what a couple of rings looked like outside in the sunlight. Fell in love with a ring while I was there A few weeks later and my now fiance popped the question with the very ring I fell in love with!

What a wonderful experience! I happened upon Isadora's a year ago and from my first interaction just wandering into the store, I knew that it would be a strong contender for a future engagement ring. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my boyfriend and I bought an engagement ring. Everyone at Isadora's was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable.
Their space is very inviting. At every interaction it felt as if this was a calling more than a profession for everyone working there. They all seem to truly care about their customers. Above all that, they have such carefully curated pieces. The jewelry is stunning and very reasonably priced when compared with the appraised prices.

I've missed this place in passing on my last trips and didn't think much when looking through the window. I walked in and was impressed by the selection vs. space. Things are well organized and stuff that you actually want to adopt, however, items here are way over priced. I do antiquing as a hobby so I am aware of the marginal fair market value vs. condition.
There is a difference between appraisal vs. market value. Watch the show Storage Wars which gives you a better idea of what I am talking about. Customer service on the other hand was awesome. The rings are nicely taken care of. 1 star down on the pricing issue.

Be prepared to spend upwards of $500 (which is fair for the beautiful jewelry they sell. The average price was about $1100. for many different styles and gems. they even had a Native American case which was beautiful. The woman (Elizabeth) who helped us was very knowledgeable. the only reason we didn't buy from her was because we were priced out but.they had an excellent selection, she was very pleasant and nice. I would recommend Isadora's any day!

My then-fiance purchased a half-eternity band for me here. I purchased his wedding ring as well. Both were vintage Tiffany's. Six months later, we realized there was an issue with the setting on my band and one of the 7 diamonds was missing. I contacted Isadora's from our new residence across the country, and they handled the issue with unsurpassed diligence and professionalism.
They arranged for the Fedex of the ring to them, had the ring fixed (channel replaced, missing diamond replaced), and returned it to me in beautiful condition. I believe this took about 2 weeks total, which was quite good because it would have been quite a bit of labor and not a fun job to redo the channel. All of this they did at no charge and with no resistance whatsoever -- completely lovely attitudes the entire time. We are quite glad we purchased our bands from such a reputable and professional shop, and for this reason I recommend them without hesitation.

Let me just say I LOVE old jewelry and this place definitely has excellent taste. Two stars for their business model and execution. But the prices? Get out of town. If you pay what is on the ticket you are going for the ride of your life. Now, I get that this stuff is "antique" and "rare", but the fact is that antique jewelry isn't all that rare, and with any effort whatsoever you can find these things or very similar things for a mere fraction.
What you're paying for here is their high-profile location and good curating abilities, but seriously, that only goes so far. I do a lot of estate jewelry shopping, and I'm pretty familiar with the varying degrees of marking up that goes on - usually I shut up about it but in this instance I just couldn't. This place is the highest cost per unit value ratio I have ever seen, hands down.
My strong suspicion is that they're asking the appraisal value, and if you know anything about jewelry, you know that most appraisals are arbitrarily huge numbers issued for the purposes of insurance and that no one (except the mindlessly rich perhaps? but i suspect not even then) trades at those numbers.

This is a gem for jewelry. The women are patient and knowledgable. The only thing I would highly suggest is a offering to print out a client wish list after they've spent a long time trying rings. Make it so easy for your client that they can return and purchase don't make them write everything out themselves. You're trying to make money right?
Also if a client spends a lot of time and money offer them something to drink! Where's the water? Where's the wine--you're making tons off their sale why not help celebrate. Other ring stores are doing this and it's a way to create excellent word of mouth marketing. People are looser with the wallets too. Make it an experience!

My first experience with Isadora's was many many years ago when I was walking around downtown with my dad. I must have been about twelve years old, and I was absolutely obsessed with everything Art Deco! When we walked past the store I begged and begged and begged to go in and look around. My dad took me in the store and the girls there were nice enough to let me try on a few pieces and answered every question a twelve year old could come up with about jewelry!
I was hooked! Ever since then I have been wondering in on the occasion I am down by Pikes Place. I am always in awe of the pieces they have. I love when I stop by I not only get to look at beautiful jewelry, but that I get a mini history lesson on the piece as well. I have been fortunate enough recently to work with Laura, Elizabeth, Mandy, and Mieko, through my own line of work.
They are a spectacular group of women who have an indescribable passion for what they do. I feel very fortunate to not only call these women colleagues, but friends now as well. Stop in, look around, talk to them and you will NOT be disappointed!

Gorgeous vintage store with so many great items. Just a warning to those who dare write a 'bad' review in their eyes. You'll be contacted. Although the email sent to me wasn't really malicious it did pressurize me to delete my review. I have integrity so I definitely won't do that, but of course I'll add the updated information.
Please see below asterisks (***). I gave 4 stars. I don't understand why this was so upsetting. The four stars stay regardless of the obnoxious email sent. (***My last visit to the store was 3 years ago. It has since changed to only focus on jewelry. I promised to add this after being contacted from the store about this change.) The vintage estate jewelry was beautiful and much of it was also platinum.
The Chinese scarves were my favorite and there was a nice variety of patterns and colors. The wedding department was gorgeous which included wedding dresses, accessories, and MOB. My second fav was the lingerie. The prices were rather ridiculous for the vintage clothing. I couldn't understand how the store moved anything due to the prices. I vintage shop in NYC and the prices in this little Seattle store were higher than you'd find in NYC. strange. Thus, the missing fifth star.
Except for the vintage jewelry, which I question due to a previous Yelp review about a watch not working after it was taken home, I'd have to say that all the other items were in fantastic shape. You knew it had all been handled with care and dry cleaned before you bought it. Now I realize I was right about the prices for the clothes. The store just couldn't sustain them and didn't know the correct descriptions for their own clothes. Thus, probably the reason why they changed to be an antique jeweler. Oh and one last thought. Perhaps they will now change their photo to be only jewelry. Especially since it upset them so much that my review focused on the vintage clothes.
