Soundwave Guitarist Pete Lapre is an awesome addition to our Orlando entertainment services. Pete is a skilled acoustic guitarist offering wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music. He is well versed in traditional wedding ceremony music, rock and pop music. Pete has been part of the Soundwave team for a several years as a DJ assistant and lighting technician.
Soundwave Entertainment is one of Orlando's leading Wedding Lighting companies offering state-of-art LED technology and design services. We also provide Lighting Design for corporate and convention events for up to 2000 attendees. Soundwave Wall Uplighting is wireless and battery operated (LED technology of course).
Geena and Mike's Central Florida wedding was a lovely and fun affair from beginning to end. This is always a fun venue to transform and we were excited to return to one of our favorite stomping grounds. Geena and Mike opted for an intimate ceremony on their special day. Their ceremony space featured floor-to-ceiling windows and endless amounts of natural light.

DJ Ray is absolutely amazing! He understood exactly what we wanted and it was beyond our expectations! We had a great mix of different genres and he kept everyone on the dance floor! Wendy is phenomenal! She always answered my questions without hesitation, always available and all around a wonderful person! She was very knowledgeable about her staff and which DJ would be best and boy was she right! Stop searching, Soundwave is the company you need!

Dj David and Wendy were amazing! I loved utilizing the online portal for planning purposes. We received a several page document outline our wedding plan and s phone call with the Dj. The music was perfect and a great mix for everyone to enjoy! David also kept our bridesmaid dance a secret and worked with us in the planning and making it all happen. 100% would book again and ask for David!

Soundwave Entertainment was our DJ and Lighting team for our wedding and we were absolutely stunned at the amazing job that the whole team did. From day one, Les and Wendy were energetic and passionate about the vision we had for our wedding. They were communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding and had a fantastic online portal to make planning simple, easy, and exactly like what we were hoping for.
In terms of music at the reception, Les was nothing short of phenomenal as a DJ. He understood the genre and vibe we were going for (classics that were family friendly), and delivered on it with his own touch. Plenty of people were telling us what a great job he did, but we could tell based on how busy the dance floor was. The lighting, done by Wendy, perfectly accentuated the decor in our reception venue and brought the place to life. Overall, everything was perfect and we wouldn't change a thing about our choice in Soundwave.

When looking for a DJ absolutely go with Soundwave Entertainment! They were excellent from beginning to end. We had DJ Les and he was an absolute professional and so kind and a pleasure to work with. His wife Wendy and the rest of the team are great as well. He gave us an amazing party and everyone complimented the music and had so much fun!

DJ David was exceptional. We knew we were going with pros when we chose Soundwave, and DJ David went above and beyond to keep our guests entertained, and had music for our wide variety of guests and music styles. Soundwave's online process of choosing all your music, must plays, never plays, styles, guest types, etc. made it easy to know how the night would go, and then confirming and reconfirming timing for various wedding events went smoothly, and the final phone meeting with DJ David to get to know us put us at ease. DJ David did the music for both our ceremony and our reception (as well as our cocktail hour), and every guest had great things to say about the music and the DJ.

Wendy and DJ Dennis were great. In the planning process, Wendy was very thoughtful, detail oriented and quick to respond. Dennis did fantastic at the wedding. He really knew how to work the crowd and get everyone on the dance floor. Would 100% recommend Soundwave to anyone looking to hire DJ or lighting services for a special occasion.

First off, DJ Justin is SUPER TALENTED as an actual DJ, and he was without a doubt the perfect match for our wedding. We are big EDM lovers and this guy knows how to throw an absolute party (Our addition of Glowsticks and LED Stiltwalkers definitely helped too). Not only was he completely on point the entire time with our tunes, which were VERY diverse, but he was also a great EMCEE, and a true professional.
He was a real pleasure and we can't thank him enough for such an awesome job. Wendy is so nice to work with and so friendly. As soon as we first talked with her, she knew our vibe and helped us throughout the whole process, and led us to match with Justin. We also had Soundwave do our lighting, and it was exactly what we wanted. They truly know what they are doing and it felt great to just have our trust in them and let them work magic! Also, we are so glad we added on the Digital Photo Booth, with props.
It was completely filled with action all night and SO many amazing, hilarious pictures. Definitely worth the add-on! Soundwave is TOP NOTCH, you won't go wrong choosing them!

Choosing the perfect vendors for a wedding is no easy task. We met a few different DJs at wedding shows but when we met DJ Ray, we knew he was the one for us. He was so chill, personable and just gave off this great vibe. When it got closer to our wedding day DJ Ray gave us a call to go over all the final details. After that conversation, we were confident that he had everything under control and would make it the best night of our lives.

Our guests were complimenting our DJ ALL night long! From the moment the dance floor opened, there was not a single moment that it was empty. Les was so good at reading the vibe of the crowd, and playing all the songs that were requested. The media booth was such a nice added touch, because the photo booth was truly never empty! We were able to get so many fun photos of all our guests having a great time. I will always recommend Soundwave to any future bride!

DJ lady Shay is the absolute best of the best and once you speak with her, any doubt or worries will disappear. We connected instantly and she was able to bring the soundtrack of our wedding to life. There is no way our wedding would have been as great of a success without her setting the energy and mood for each portion. It's two weeks later and our family and friends still talk about how great of a party the reception was thanks to DJ Lady Shay.
She was even able to make a suggestion for the sound system to ensure the music quality and sound have the exact effect we wanted. Wendy and Les were incredible, they are great people and they are willing to work with you. They have great advice and really help your vision come to life! My Husband and I had such an amazing time and danced the night away. DJ les played the perfect songs to get everyone on the dance floor. I would recommend them all day everyday!

We originally reached out to Soundwave Entertainment for DJing Services at our wedding because they were a "Recommended Vendor" of our Venue - so we knew that they not only had to be a trusted, reputable and respected Vendor, but also awesome. Wendy was so quick to respond to us, and she was so, so easy to chat with - from one conversation, she was able to get an idea of what we were looking for in a DJ and matched us with our DJ, Justin.
With the Planning Guides, there is no stressing about the order of events, or what music to play when, etc. because it's all there in the Guides - I cannot stress enough how convenient it was. It was so nice going over the Guides with DJ Justin a few days before the wedding - he checked to make sure all information was accurate, he knew how to pronounce the names of everyone in the Bridal Party, the vibe we were looking for with the Reception, etc.
I said that I wanted the dance floor filled the entire night, and Justin delivered that 100% - he kept the Party going the entire time and all "age groups" happy. It was so, so fun. Definitely recommend!

Wendy and her crew, including DJ Les, were such a joy to work with! They elevated our dream wedding to another level with truly beautiful lighting and high quality, glitch-less audio! Every single song was played with deliberation and perfection! We were really picky with our music choices and they made it all happen! We know for a fact they could execute music/ambiance in any style but we can attest that our taste was met perfectly!
It would be hard to differentiate our wedding and a high-end classy club which was exactly what we wanted. All our guests still talk about the unbelievably fun wedding they had.

A great event DJ in the Orlando area! We had a great time working with Soundwave to DJ our wedding. The price was more than reasonable and everything up until the day of the wedding was organized and clearly laid out. They provided a short schedule and song request form for the main dances and then a section to include "do not play" songs. We added a few we weren't fans of and then just got ready for the wedding.
All announcements the DJs provided were great and helped people get where they needed to be and know what they needed to do. We also purchased the photobooth for the wedding, which everyone had a lot of fun with. Yet, a bunch of the songs from the "do not play" list still were played and one of my favorite songs that I specifically requested and waited for was not played.
So yeah, that bothered me. It just seemed like they forgot to read that section of their own form. Other than that though, all the guests enjoyed the music and dancing, so I'd still recommend Soundwave for your next event!

Soundwave Entertainment is amazing! Wendy did our photo booth for our wedding and it was so much fun! It was such a fun touch to our reception and our guests loved it! Soundwave provided all of the really cute props and let us pick which backdrop we wanted. They printed out 2 copies of the photos and gave one to the guest and put one in a scrapbook for us. Wendy decorated the scrapbook for us and made sure our guests signed next to their pictures.
It is one of our favorite things to look at and see our guests having such a great time! We had so much fun with it! DJ Ray was our DJ and he was incredible! He did my older brothers wedding and we knew we wanted him to do ours. He did an amazing job at listening to the music genres we liked and then mixed all of that music in throughout the night.

Les and Wendy were SO great at our wedding at Paradise Cove in Orlando. We could not have imagined a better time. They hit the music just right and kept the crowd dancing all night. They also kept up with the time so well and kept everything on schedule. We didn't have a single worry. If I need a dj again I will ABSOLUTELY book Soundwave Entertainment and you should too!
