TLC went above and beyond when helping me find my perfect wedding dress. Pre-COVID, I had found a dress I loved in NY, but then we postponed our wedding, and I didn't buy it. In 2021, we moved to Frederick, and I started searching for that same dress, but it was already a few years old by that point and no one had it in stock anymore. I saw on their website that TLC was a carrier of that designer, so I gave them a call without much hope.

But they were able to get a loaner from the designer so that I could try it on again before buying it. They were very communicative during the entire process, so I never had to worry that they had forgotten about my request. The loaner came in, and I made an appointment to try it on, after which I had some questions about color and style options, and JayJay contacted the designer to make sure the dress would look exactly like I wanted before ordering it.

Then when it came in, JayJay called me immediately because she knew I was on a tight timeline. At each of my appointments, everyone was so kind and helpful, giving me opinions and suggestions when I asked for them and taking photos for me to send to my mom and bridesmaids since I went to my appointments alone. JayJay also helped me pick out a veil and recommended an excellent seamstress for dress and suit alterations.

My entire experience with TLC was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress in the Frederick area. It is obvious that your satisfaction is their highest priority.

I booked a Bridal Exclusive appointment at the shop to accommodate my best friend's large wedding party. From the moment we walked in the door we were met with smiling faces and contagious energy. The owner, Michelle, is INCREDIBLE. She led our private appointment. She was incredibly personable and knew exactly how to make our bride and the entire party feel comfortable. Michelle was attentive and very thorough.

She made sure our bride tried multiple styles and considered dresses she may not have picked for herself. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. And yes, our bride did say yes to her dress! Thank you TLC for an amazing day! That is what dress shopping is supposed to be!

I bought my "Mother of the Bride" gown at TLC Bridal Boutique and I found the staff to be lovely, sweet and very knowledgeable. When my gown arrived, their was an issue with the sizing and the dress did not fit. I was horrified since my daughter's wedding was in 3 months and not sure what my options were in such a short notice. The staff called the owner who then met me at the shop within a half hour. She immediately called her supplier, expedited the shipping, and paid to have the dress shipped to me directly. Thank you TLC Bridal Boutique! You ladies are Rock Stars!

TLC Bridal is absolutely amazing! I booked a bridal exclusive for myself and my family and friends and it was perfect! There was a delicious food spread for us to nibble on when we got there, and then once I started trying on dresses, their selection really wowed everyone! JayJay was absolutely incredible, a ball of positive energy from start to finish! She found me the PERFECT dress and I couldn't be more grateful! I would recommend them 100% ten times over! I could not be happier!

I went to two bridal shops prior to TLC and TLC honestly blew both out of the water! The staff was SUPER friendly and kind. They actually listened to what I was asking for when trying on dresses. I swear my consultant knew me better than I knew myself. She picked a dress out and asked me if I'd try it on - I didn't love it on the hanger but decided to try it on anyway.

It was THE dress! I cried and all. I also am not super tiny and they had dresses that fit me/were larger than me. Other boutiques I went to I had to try to squeeze into size 6 dresses which just made me feel terrible about myself. The selection of sizes was a huge plus for this place! I had a wonderful experience with this team and would recommend them til I'm blue in the face. Awesome experience!

Unlike my experience at other boutiques, I truly believe THIS is what a bridal appointment should feel like. TLC was welcoming, professional, and personal. My consultant paid attention to what I was looking for, and I ended up purchasing the very first dress she selected. Beautiful store, easy to get to, and a wonderful team who makes it clear they're there for the Bride. Thank you, TLC! 1,000% recommend.

I had such a great experience at TLC Bridal! The staff was so kind and accommodating. Susie went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of amazing! I showed her examples of what I was looking for and she knew exactly which dresses to pull. Plus, the boutique is very clean and you get your own private dressing room with 1x1 attention. This boutique definitely has their brides' best interest and truly prioritizes their brides' happiness!

I went to pick out & try on wedding dresses back in January & the staff was absolutely amazing! Knew exactly what I was looking for & right within my spending limit. When I said yes to the dress they were so excited for me & so helpful with everything! And picking up my dress was just as good of an experience. The ladies were so complementary & so sweet! Picked out my dress during the peak of COVID and the shop took great measures to make sure appointments were spread out and the space was clean. They picked out several gowns based on my style and my dream dress was one of the first ones I tried on - literally the second dress. They worked with my party to show us what the dress would look like in the color I wanted and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

My best friend took us here to try on wedding dresses for the first time! This was such an amazing experience. The consultant made her feel so beautiful and special. I could not rave about the experience more. The snacks they provided were so yummy and they had sparkling wine for us as well. I'm getting married next year and will definitely be making an appointment here!

I had a great experience here with Kalyan. She pulled a variety of dresses and helped me figure out what styles looked best on me-which was really helpful as TLC was my first appointment. I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision at any point during the visit. She even wrote down my top choices for me so that I could go home and look the dresses up online to see how other brides accessorized them. I'd recommend this spot to any to-be-weds looking for a dress.

Had an amazing experience shopping at TLC bridal. This was the first place that I went dress shopping and I was not disappointed. Sarah and Kaylin were a great team, and somehow made sense of what I thought I was looking for. They turned it into a great selection of dresses that were flattering for my shape and stunning. In the end, I found the perfect dress thanks to them! Very happy with the quality of the dresses and with the staff. If you want to get the full bridal experience, this is the place to go!

The "Cinderella Room" is a room in the attic where dresses are kept when no longer in production. There are gorgeous wedding gowns for less than half the price. You'll be in the attic so prepare to sweat a little and do some work digging, but I found "the one" in 30 minutes. The dress was too small (by several sizes) so I'll spend a little in alterations, but walked out with my dream dress for $350! Everyone I worked with was very helpful, friendly, and kept checking in on me. They also offered good insight on what was possible for alterations.

This bridal boutique is amazing. They have a great variety of dresses everything from Allure to Maggie Sottero, tulle, silk, crepe, ruffles, lace, beading they have it all. Not only do they have a ton of dresses but their customers service is unmatched. My mother and sister couldn't be with me because they live across the country but no worries I had my pseudo mom Kaila there to help me try on dresses and take lots of photos for to share for them.

After showing my family the dresses I love I went back and they helped my work with the designer to customize my dress. I couldn't have asked for a better experience : I highly recommend coming here for your wedding dress and formal dress needs. This shop is amazing and they are such lovely people to work with.

WARNING! This shop has past years dresses for to try on and then orders the current season dress based on computer images. When the dress arrives in a completely different color & fabric which does not meet your expectations- so sorry - too bad! You signed a contract & you are stuck paying for it! Saying they are deceptive and manipulative is being kind. Honestly think it is pathetic that the business feels the need to berate minors and speak poorly about parents in a group setting. Clearly the business is doing poorly since they work with distributors that don't stand behind their products & they need the $300 more than my 16yo daughter.

I shopped around a bit for wedding dresses and decided to say yes to the dress at TLC! The employees were very welcoming and made me feel on top of this world. Super happy with my dress and can't wait to show it off in 6 months! Thank You TLC!

I was absolutely dreading having to shop for my mother of the bride dress after a recent awful experience elsewhere. As time was running out, armed with a recommendation and a great big nudge from a friend, I made an appointment at TLC Bridal Boutique. From the initial phone conversation, to walking through their doors, to actually trying on dresses and making a purchase, the experience was a joy! JayJay & Susie did everything and more to make myself & my daughters feel comfortable.

They took their time helping me in and out of many gowns, discussing what & why we did or did not like about each. I never felt rushed or unimportant but instead, was made to feel quite special and dare I even say, pretty! My only regret is that I didn't go to TLC sooner. After having experience with both of my daughters' weddings & many bridal shops in general, I truly cannot stress enough how absolutely fabulous TLC is. JayJay and Susie are the very best of the best at what they do and as far as I'm concerned, they're now my new BFFs! Treat yourself, go shop at TLC Bridal, you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend looking here for your wedding dress- you won't be disappointed! My sister and I went here after we had looked at 2 other places out of state. My sister (the bride) had an idea of what she was looking for and showed our consultant Sarah a few photos to start. Let me tell you. she knocked it out of the park with what she put my sister in.

She pulled 4-5 dresses and every single one of them was EXACTLY what my sister had asked. She immediately knew the first 2 dresses were her top 2 as soon as she put them on. Unfortunately my sister chose a dress at another shop after this, as she ended up having her "bridal moment" in another dress. But we were amazed at how awesome Sarah our consultant was, how cute this boutique is, and even how friendly and accommodating the managers were! 5 STARS!

Stop looking for the best spot to find your dress-- it is 100% at TLC Bridal Boutique in downtown Frederick! From corresponding with owner JayJay before my appointment to PICKING OUT MY GORGEOUS DRESS to coming into the shop to search for accessories, JayJay and her team (shoutout to Suzi and Sue) were nothing short of incredible. They are the most down-to-earth, fun-loving ladies you could meet and hope to hang out with as you search for "the one." JayJay and her team are knowledgeable and professional.

They know how to narrow down what you're looking for, encourage you try out different styles if that's what you want to do, and are more than happy to let you go back and forth between dresses or continue your search at their shop or elsewhere (however, I'm betting that you find your dress at TLC with them). They DO NOT pressure you in any type of way, and they understand the significant investment that a bride is making when she purchases a dress.

The staff at TLC are kind, thoughtful, and HILARIOUS, and I guarantee you and your friends/fam will have an amazing time searching for your perfect gown, and the likelihood is that you'll find it there! Even after I purchased my dress, the ladies at TLC were happy for me to come back in and gave me just as much attention when searching for a veil/accessories.

TLC is hands down the best dress shop in the area! I bought my wedding dress here a few years ago and was recently in the market for a formal gown to wear to a black tie gala. TLC was the first place to pop in my head. I wanted something that wasn't PROM but also wasn't MOTHER OF THE BRIDE. I'm 44 so I wanted to look classy and not too young. I was able to get in for an individualized appointment quickly and found the BEST dress! The service and attentiveness are unmatched. They will definitely get my call again!

I came to TLC all the way from Baltimore hoping I would find my wedding dress, and even though I didn't buy a dress I had an unbelievable experience. I called on Friday for a Sunday appointment and they were able to fit me in right away! I went ahead and purchased the "Bridal exclusive" package which included wine, appetizers, and 3 full hours of consultation (the shop was completely closed just for me & my friends!) for just $200!

I enjoyed the intimacy of my appointment and How JayJay was 100% focused on me / determined to help me out. She has a large selection of dresses and the shop is super chic! Truly worth the drive! Highly recommend JayJay and her team.

These ladies are excellent! Suzi helped me pick out a gorgeous dress that looks beautiful on me. She helped me try on as many dresses as I wanted and really helped zone in on the parts of each dress that I liked so she could pick out a better dress for me to try on next. There was absolutely no pressure from her, or from Sondra when picking out our bridesmaids dresses.

I did go to a different salon also, and they were very high pressure trying to get me to purchase a dress we didn't love. If I had to do this over again, I'd definitely pick TLC!

I purchased my gown from TLC and I couldn't have been happier with how accommodating the women were when we came in. We were there past closing but never felt like we were being rushed out or pressured into a dress. When I went to pick my dress up we tried on some veils with it and none of them were what I wanted. There was one that matched my dress really well but I said multiple times it wasn't what i pictured.

In my excitement I bought the veil because it matched the dress even though it was a lot more money than I intended to spend. I attempted to cancel the order the next day after some serious buyers remorse but was told it was impossible and there was nothing they could do. It didn't feel like they even cared that I was so upset over it. I wish I had been encouraged to take more time to decide based on the obvious hesitation I was showing while trying to pick the veil. In the end my veil was very pretty and did look great with my dress, which I adored, so it was fine. I just wish I hadn't felt like I had to settle with it.

Thank goodness for TLC! I got my wedding dress from here after I had gone to several other places and was feeling a bit discouraged. The woman who helped me was so nice and was excellent at finding dresses that fit my style but also fit my figure well. I would say they have quite a wide range of prices, so I was able to find a dress in my budget. They made the experience so much fun, too, and they popped champagne when we found the dress!

Ladies. I went dress shopping in no fewer than TEN boutiques (aaaand David's Bridal) in the DC/Virginia/Maryland area. Tonight, I found my wedding gown at TLC! After visiting so many places, I can say this boutique offers one of the most attentive and, well, *joyful* experiences for dress-hunting. After calling last weekend, desperate to find a dress and running behind on the wedding timeline, JayJay was so sweet and accommodating; it felt like I had called an aunt or neighbor.

She offered her soonest available appointment. Today complicated matters when I got out of work late, putting me nearly an hour behind schedule. JayJay eased my stress and promised to make it work. When I arrived and climbed the stairs of the unassuming row-house, I found a beautiful and chic little boutique and a wonderful assortment of dresses. JayJay was energetic and charmingly down-to-earth.

When I told her my budget (think David's Bridal range) you could tell she was a bit daunted, but she was determined to find the right dress. She pulled around six gowns that fit the style I was looking for, and they were ALL reasonably close to budget. But ultimately, it was a BEAUTIFUL dress she graciously offered to sell off-the-rack that won me over.

The dress was literally everything I wanted. I left my appointment, gown in tow, thrilled, relieved and SO grateful for her help. (Also, MAD bonus points for the darling goodie bag!) If you're a bride-to-be, you really should put this place on your list.

I went here to look for a wedding dress after having really bad buyers remorse for another gown I bought a few months ago from another bridal shop. JayJay made me feel so much better about the situation! She and her assistant, Olivia, really took care of me and listened to every like/dislike about the dresses I tried on so that they could find more of what I wanted. They're not pushy. It really is about you finding your dream dress. This is a great place to go get a gown! Highly recommend.

Came here with M to look at wedding dresses for her. TLC was awesome. Service was wonderful and attentive right from the beginning. JayJay has a great sense of humor and made our visit one to remember. She has a wonderful personality. There were plenty of dresses that looked beautiful on M and she left more than satisfied. We arrived a bit late for our appointment and JayJay was more than accommodating and incredibly patient. They have beautiful dresses here and this boutique is adorable. Wow - I just had my first wedding dress consultation with jay jay and it was amazing. As a slightly clue-less bride on a rather tight budget, she made me feel like I was just as important as those $3000+ brides. Her, along with my matron of honor made this day so incredibly special. So intimate and lovely. Thank you thank you thank you!
