Our salad dishes are made to order using the same fresh ingredients found on our pizzas creating a unique salad experience for our guests. I rented a Penske truck from Persiano Events on 6/1/2020 to accommodate a local move. The vehicle was a brand new box truck. Clean, comfortable, and available as advertised. The Penske rep was friendly and saw me on my way. No complaints there. My main gripe is the organization of the transaction itself. I scheduled to pick up the truck right at the opening time of 9AM, but the rep did not arrive until 9:15 ish.
Once there, he proceeded to organize the inventory of trucks for the day, which only took about 5 min, but was still added time. And that's my point: If the site allows patrons to order a truck for use at 9AM, I would love to arrive, get the truck, and be on my way as soon as possible-not hang out in the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting. Just tell me to be there at 9:30 instead, if that's the way things are.
Once done with the trucks, the rep allowed me inside to complete the transaction. He asked me what I rented, for which I found strange. I placed the order via the website, and he had the computer on in front of him. Surely my information is in the reservation? So I took out my phone, looked up my order, and provided the length of the truck I reserved.
Once done, I signed the paperwork and was on my way. But alas, once at my destination, I found that the hand truck I reserved was not with the truck. Seems Persiano/Penske had stiffed me, and I really needed the hand truck to complete my move. So I still have some extremely heavy furniture at my old apartment I need to figure out how to move with a small window of time.
Not ideal. I called Penske customer service and they refunded me the cost of the hand truck. That wasn't a big deal. Long story short, here's my n=1 summary: This business doesn't seem to have a dependable system in place to fulfill customer orders as requested, and the service seems kind of laid back. That said, no complaints about the quality of the equipment provided or the friendliness of the staff. Just kind of missed the mark for superior quality, so there's room for improvement.

Prompt, quick & excellent service! Ally made sure not only to come scout the property multiple times but was there the day they were setting up to make sure it went off without a hitch. Would definitely be my first recommendation to anyone needing rentals, this is our second time using them. And we will definitely be using them again!

Had these guys do our rentals for a small, 55 person backyard wedding reception. Ali is super easy to work with and takes his time helping you figure out exactly what all you need for your event and is flexible with your rentals. The only issue we had is the sound system we rented wasn't delivered with a chord to attach a phone to like we were told it would and the Bluetooth audio (the only option at that point) kept cracking and breaking up through out the night, so if you rent the sound system, be sure you get them to leave the connector chord, it's a specialized one and NOT a USB like what you have at home.
