There are lots of hidden fees and you could end up spending triple the initial fee they give you. If you look at their services, they say the same actions in multiple ways so it looks like you're getting more than you actually are. They could stand to be more transparent with cost and commission. Morgan and team are nice people but be cognizant of finances going in so you don't end up going out having spent way more than you initially thought. Lots of the embellishments seem unnecessary at start but spiral quickly and lots of time Out of your reasonable control.

Modern Elopement made planning my wedding a breeze! I really appreciate Summer's help throughout the whole process. She was organized, professional and answered all my questions. She even offered suggestions on how to work within my budget. On the day of my wedding, Summer allowed me to be fully in the moment to enjoy the whole day, taking everything off my shoulders, ensuring everything would run smoothly - and it did! All the vendors they recommended were fantastic too! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Modern Elopement to anyone planning a wedding!

Their team is patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about their industry and each island. AND their vendors are all outstanding. Had the pleasure of having with Leilani from Modern Elopement as our wedding coordinator. She was so sweet and always helped answer our questions quickly. Because of covid we didn't meet her until the day of the wedding but communication through email & phone calls worked for us. The wedding process was painless and easy to understand. Modern Elopement was very professional and I would highly recommend! Can't thank everyone on their team enough that helped make our day so special. Everything was perfect!

Modern Elopement helped us plan our dream elopement on the Island of Oahu! What immediately drew me into the company was our initial phone call, I could tell that they were so passionate about weddings! I also liked that they had "lookbooks" of options that you could pick from like flowers, locations, dinner, etc. The lookbooks helped me visualize exactly what our big day was going to look like, which was very important to me.

I also added some custom things like a custom cake, dinner reservations, and first dance, and they were extremely flexible and willing to accommodate requests. This took the Elopement to the next level because those custom touches are what make the day even more special. Nicole was our wedding planner, and by the end of our wedding day, we were sad to say goodbye!

Throughout the process, we felt like we were old friends; she is such a genuinely sweet person! On the day of the wedding, we had rain, and Nicole managed to calm me down when I arrived at the venue. She also bustled my dress after the ceremony, which was a lifesaver. I was so worried about that! If you are on the fence about eloping, I would plan it with Modern Elopement, we have no regrets and were able to celebrate with 17 of our closest family and friends in paradise!

Modern Elopement made our special day stress free and intimate - exactly what we wanted, especially in light of the ever changing COVID precautions. We spent an hour or so planning/providing feedback and Nicole took care of the rest, including everything from car service, to assisting us with our marriage license, to ensuring we had the best photographer. With the logistics arranged, we were able to cherish the moment with each other. Highly recommend!

Easy but also flexible! We've had a great time planning our elopement with Modern Elopement. Throughout the process, Nicole was always so helpful and was there for us when needed. I had a plenty of early morning Skype sessions before I went to work but I had fun planning the elopement with her (it was worth it!). We had our determined venue picked from the start so we build on from there.

We asked for the particular photographer who wasn't listed in the option but they were kind enough to arrange the one we liked on the day. Also I had a vision about my flowers/bouquet, so I sent so many photos to tell them what I envisioned. They of course successfully executed and as a result, my bouquet was probably one of the favorite parts of the day.

Other thing I asked to customize was the invitation. We wanted it to be original so that guests could get excited just seeing/reading the invites. Nicole has helped me a lot and worked very hard to get what I wanted. I am so grateful I chose them as our wedding planner. Highly recommended. They are brilliant!

Using modern elopement was the best wedding decision my husband and I made. Their team is by far the best! Nicole was in constant contact with us. She took the time to ensure our wedding day would include everything we wanted and more. She helped give us the best suggestions for our added embellishments. The day and night of our wedding could not have gone more smoothly.

It was truly THE BEST night of our lives! I could go on and on about how amazing the modern elopement team is. If you are looking for a planner stop what you're doing and hire them already!

This company has amazingly high standards and will make your day an absolute dream. The vendors and locations organised for our elopement where sensational and so helpful. Our photographer and make up artist were such a joy to meet i couldn't have asked for any more for our big day. Communication can be drawn out if your in AUS due to time difference and can sometimes feel a touch stressful but rest assured you are in the best hands. Nicole will always reply and make sure she has everything perfect, confirms exactly what you have asked with answers and even mood boards to ensure your both on the same page and is more then happy to Skype to ensure your calm and confident and totally stress free exactly as a elopement should be! The owner of Modern Elopement threatened legal action if we left a review - so we'll start there. Long story short, we paid in full for their elopement package then later needed to cancel to sort out some personal concerns before getting married. When we cancelled our original date, the owner said she would honor the money spent on the package when we decide to reschedule.

When we contacted Modern Elopement to reschedule, we were basically told to kick sand. Keep in mind, it's the wonderful photographers & florists that make these elopements look beautiful. It's important to know what kind of values the owner of a company has when doing business with them & in our opinion, they have none. They have been exceedingly rude to us at every line of communication - when all we wanted was the elopement package we paid for. Thousands of dollars spent on a service never provided & later threats of legal action brought by Modern Elopement if we post about our awful experience working with them & to take even more unearned money from us.

We loved our Modern Elopement! When our wedding venue accommodations in Wisconsin went out of business, my fiance and I decided to elope to Hawaii and we're so happy we did! It was just the two of us, but we still wanted our wedding to be a special experience to enjoy and cherish. Nicole of Modern Elopement made our day incredible. She took care of everything. the officiant, the flowers, the setting, the music, and the photographer were all amazing.

We gave her a little direction of what we wanted in advance and then we simply showed up to our dream ceremony. Best part was that Nicole immediately felt like a friend. If you're getting married or eloping in Hawaii, hire Modern Elopement and don't look back!

Nicole was our amazing wedding concierge and I felt like we were best friends when we met (moments before I walked down the aisle) who had been sending each other emails for months!

She is a natural at her job and I just felt like "she had us!" I didn't need to worry at all because she handled Every. Single. Detail. So we could just enjoy it ALL. I truly keep reliving our day over and over and being overwhelmed at how it all unfolded better than I could've ever imagined. The options and vendors they have for you to choose from are the BEST on the island so you cannot go wrong. The locations are beyond. Our perfect day was worth every single penny and I'm so happy we trusted ME to make it happen!

Modern Elopement was the best choice we could've made for our destination wedding. We wanted an intimate ceremony with high-end touches, and ME delivered. Kayleigh was fabulous, always responsive to my questions and made the day go SO smoothly. We could just relax and enjoy our wedding day. We don't have much time planning this wedding (less than 3 months) and we don't have any experience. Modern Elopement did a GREAT job by guiding us through the process step and step. They took care of all the things for the perfect day. We had a wonderful day at Oahu and it's definitely one of those most important moments in your life. What can I say about a day that went *perfectly?* I am so, so happy I chose Modern Elopement for my "elopement" (read I my case, wedding) and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. After booking the package I decided that I wanted a more traditional wedding reception and so arranged for one on my own, and Kayleigh helped me blend the separate events seamlessly.

Being an artsy person with a limited budget I also DIY'd a few of my own elements like place cards and a wedding sign and her team incorporated them flawlessly. She's always available to answer questions (albeit sometimes not immediately!). Overall Kayleigh took care of our every need, from working with a guest count from two different cultures that was larger than most, to having the ceremony blend seamlessly with my separate reception.

On the day of I was so relieved when I met her and Nicole in person and left it all to them. We were so happy with their vendors who honestly represent the best of the best that the islands have to offer- from the flowers to the officiant to the music. If you're looking for a destination wedding in Hawaii for a group of less than 25, do yourself a favor and look no further.

We still can't believe how gorgeous our wedding ceremony was with Modern Elopement! Kayleigh and company really executed to make the whole process streamlined and stress free. We honestly didn't know what to expect, all we needed to do was show up and enjoy the day. I recommend people who are trying to elope with a small intimate setting to choose Modern Elopement.

Their packages are easy and they were always available anytime. They worked with us to customize every detail to our liking. We still can't believe the cost of it all either. The cost of our wedding would have been equivalent to the catering cost if we stuck with a wedding in Los Angeles. Thank you guys!
