SRC Party Rentals & Supplies

It's the week before summer vacation and all the local schools are having graduation parties and events. Everyone Reserved their party supplies months ago. I thought I was on the ball when I reserved a cotton candy machine back in March from SRC party rentals. The day before I'm supposed to pick it up, I called SRC to confirm my reservation ( I called on a Monday when they are closed). Turns out I made my reservation for July 7, not June 7 like I really needed it.

I was so upset with myself but SRC Pulled a cotton candy machine for me, cleaned it (even though it was their day off) & made sure somebody was available to meet me so I could pick it up. It was literally the 11th hour. But they made it happen for me and the kids had an amazing time the next day at their party. SRC is a local business who went way above and beyond.

They charged me just $45 to rent a huge, commercial size cotton candy machine Capable of making multiple cotton candy cones at once. I will use SRC in the future for all my party event rentals. I have already recommended them to many friends. I say without hesitation you should Use SRC for all your party needs. I'm so grateful for the extra lengths they went to get me what I needed on time. These folks are the best! Super quality products and the customer service is over the top great! We've used them for two weddings and numerous private parties. We also rent from them for our holiday family gatherings!

When we had to move our wedding to a small backyard ceremony in Penn Valley because of COVID, we had to scramble a bit to figure out all of the details, and the extremely friendly staff at SRC were so helpful in getting all of our tableware. They are great with communicating and very accommodating with adjusting pickup/drop off as needed. Super grateful for their help!

These guys took care of everything i needed for my party! They were super polite, let me add and deduct things from my list before the event. Even blew up and ribboned baloons. The drop off and pick up was smooth as butter and they had such cool stuff we needed. Large games, drink dispensers, china, tables, chairs etc. Reasonably priced as well. Great experience with them!

Could work on their return policy. I don't think that if you cancel 5 month prior to the event then they should give a refund back. You literally have 5 months. I would get a month before or even 2 months, but 5 months?

We had a great experience with src! They were very accommodating to our location venue, dropped off our rental order on time, their prices were grea and very professional. I would then use again and recommend.

I'll never have any party or event without renting from SRC. I'm one of their biggest fans. I've used them for my engagement party, bridal shower, wedding, birthday parties and baby showers. Makes all my parties look and feel so much nicer, less cleanup and less waste by not using paper or plastic dish ware/utensils. Maxx and SRC in general is amazing! Can't thank them enough for years of party rentals.

SRC provided the rentals for our wedding. They made everything simple from start to finish. Everything was dropped off in time and picked up without any problems. We highly recommend!

We love SRC! I can't tell you how many times I was within hours of an event and realized I didn't have something, only for SRC to save the day! Max, the owner, is so helpful, thorough and all around just a great guy- I just love supporting his shop! His staff is equally as friendly and so very accommodating. We chose this place over Celebrations for our wedding in Browns Valley. When we first called to rent chairs (cheaper per chair than Celebrations), I gave the lady the address of our wedding over the phone, and she quoted me a $60 delivery fee after mapping the distance. Then, we slowly added more items onto our reservation list such as plates, glasses, & tables.

When we went in to look at items, we spoke to the owner Max who then told us the delivery price was $150. After I told him what I was already quoted, he stated that the $60 is the initial delivery fee they quote everyone before mapping the distance. He was very rude to us, and unapologetic for the incorrect price quoting. In addition, I had called to reserve gold flatware they had just received, and was told that they had plenty and no one else had rented any.

A few months later, I received a call stating that they no longer had the flatware available in the quantity I had placed on reserve. So frustrating! So, I called Celebrations, and rented gold flatware from them, wishing I had rented everything else from them as the delivery cost was the same from Roseville to Browns Valley. On a positive note, the delivery guys were very nice and arrived on time.

I worked with Carissa on renting an assortment of products for a large party. She was enormously helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. The delivery and pick-up were right on time, and the dishes and flatware were pristinely packed. I definitely recommend them! Thanks, Carissa!

We rented a snow cone machine here for our daughters birthday party and it was so much fun. Everyone loved having a snow cone and the rental experience was easy and affordable.

We used SRC to rent 250 chairs for our daughters wedding. We also rented some punch bowls, a drink dispenser and a table. Everything was perfect! They delivered right on time and they picked up right on time. They were great to work with! Thanks so much!

I met the new owner of SRC at the Grass Valley Wedding Fair and I liked all the rustic decor that he was showcasing. I live out of the area but I was planning on getting married in Nevada City, CA. Fast forward to the wedding, everything was delivered in a timely manner and picked up on schedule too. I liked that they pick up the dirty dishes and wash them for you.

They were a little more expensive than other big chain rental companies but I wanted to support a local business. They also let me add and subtract things from my order close to the wedding without it being an issue which was nice. After the wedding, things got mixed up by my people cleaning up and a few items got taken all the way back to the Bay Area. Max was understanding and flexible about that.

One thing I'd suggest though is that they put a dollar amount on every item in case it's lost before it is rented out. I say that because one thing that accidentally got taken back to the Bay was a rustic wood window frame. I asked how much it might be if we weren't able to return it in a timely manner and they hadn't given it a loss value so they didn't know.

It would also be nice to be able to browse and (perhaps) reserve their inventory online because they have so much more available than it shows online. I understand that they're new owners and trying to work out all the details though. Friendly people and good selection of event rentals.

We called SRC Party Rentals to rent most of the things we needed for our wedding originally because they are one of few vendors in the area to fill this need. We were so pleasantly surprised that they not only took great care of us, supplied us everything we needed for our big event, and delivered and picked up exactly when they said they would, but they had great customer service and followed up with us effectively in the months leading up to the wedding.

The only issue is that one of our round tables ended up being ridiculously warped which was inconvenient, but everything else was in great condition. We would totally use SRC again for more events.

This place charges non refundable deposits on rental items. If you're not 100% certain, don't go here. Prices seem very high as well. Will not return.

Words can not express how happy we are with the service we received from SRC Rentals. They provided tables, chairs, plates and silverware for a large wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The day before our event, the owner called to follow up and confirm the delivery and pickup times and to check if we had any last minute rental needs.

We appreciated their extra effort to make sure our event went smoothly. In addition to the rentals, we purchased paper products from their store. They have a great selection to choose from and saved us from having to make trip down the hill!

SRC is the best! Our wedding consisted of 250 guests and they supplied the glasses, silverware, plates, tables, speakers, cake stand, and even lawn games for the kiddos! The giant "connect 4" game was a hit! They also had beautiful bars for rent! The service was amazing and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be using them for every party from now on!

I have used SRC for my wedding, several showers and other events over the years. The people are friendly and easy to work with. I have always had a good experience. Some things are a little pricey but others are very reasonable.

Words can not explain how rude, mean, and threatening the male employ, at SRC is. I have never written a review for any business, as it is not in my nature to say unkind words about another. Nor do I want to speak ill of someone's company and effect their business because of a complaint about one employee, although I'm not sure if he is an owner or an employee.

I can see from past reviews that I am not the only one who felt this way about him. My first call to SRC was very nice and with a very sweet and helpful woman but every call after that was horrible. I read reviews for all the vendors I used for our wedding day but some how this was the one vendor I did not checkout before hand.trust me I wish I had. No bride and groom should have to deal with someone so rude.

We rented chairs here. Everything else is overpriced truthfully. My now father in law picked them up and dropped them off. This was to avoid the big fee. Luckily he has a big truck and 4-runner. Guy inside was kinda rude and there wasn't as much selection as I was hoping for. Oh well. The chairs worked :
