When I decided to have my wedding dress made it was simply to get a better dress for less money. Given my height, wide shoulders and scoliosis, it was one of the smartest decisions I made.

I've brought 2 dresses to Alban Limited for alterations. The bridesmaid dress I had pretty much needed to be 3 different sizes to fit my hips, waist & chest. Magic was done & it fit just right. I recently took my wedding dress there & again beautiful work was done. It fits like a glove! Highly recommend Alban Limited for your alterations needs!

Dave is seriously amazing. I cannot even begin to explain how much I recommend this shop! After a less then good experience elsewhere, he listened to my concerns and offered great solutions. Dave is INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend him for any bridal alterations! The seamstress I had planned on altering my wedding gown quit a month and a half before my wedding, and I was recommended Dave by a friend. He took on my dress in that short amount of time with his very busy schedule and did a wonderful job! I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out!

Absolutely amazing people to work with. I needed patches put on my wetsuit for my job and was having a really hard time finding someone who could do it. And even though they were busy, they fit me in and did incredible work. Its exactly what i wanted. I'm so happy I found them. I will be bringing all my future seamstress needs to them. Dave saved me from a seamstress nightmare. The first person I took my dress to, had lied about working on my dress after having it for a month, no work had been done to it. I called Dave up with little time before the wedding, and he wasn't only able to get it done in time, but it looked amazing! I have scoliosis and Dave took the time to make sure the dress laid well on my back and hips. If I can figure out how to post a picture of the dress I will. Worth the price, for the quality, and trust me when I say, peace of mind knowing your dress is in good hands.

I highly recommend Alban! They are very knowledgeable, timely, and reasonable. I brought my wedding dress here to be altered and needed length shortened, straps shortened, and dress bustled. I picked up my wedding dress yesterday from being bustled and partially altered. When I opened the bag and took it out I cried happy tears. It is beautiful! It is what I pictured in my mind of how I wanted it and it looks amazing! I highly recommend and can not wait till next year when they can put the finishing touches on my dress for the big day! My mom and I took my wedding dress to David. BEST DECISION! He's a miracle worker! My dress has a lot of volume and horsehair (vertical, which isn't something I've seen a lot of). We were so worried it wasn't going to be able to be hemmed because of how difficult we we told hemming it could be. It needed to be taken up at the waist (and not from. the bottom). David made my dress look even better than I imagined and I'm so grateful he put the time and effort into it. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'd recommend David to anyone who has garments they'd like to have handled with care.

I brought in a stack of stuff a few months back, including a dress that was destined to become my wedding dress. It was a simple jersey knit, but had a bunch of beaded panels that I wanted removed. The lady helpfully pointed out that without the beading and mesh, the cowl neck of the dress would likely not stay up. She offered to make a back strap out of the mesh to connect the back shoulders, and it came out perfect!
I got the simple neckline I was after, without worrying about flashing my whole top half. It wasn't anything I would have thought of on my own, but I so appreciate the advice and wonderful tailoring. Hands down, best tailor ever!

Called about 2 weeks before the wedding to have my bridesmaid dress altered and they got me in right away. I know how hard it can be during the wedding season and they were fast, professional, and the alterations turned out perfect. Prices are incredibly reasonable. I usually don't write reviews, but had to because I was so impressed! I highly recommend it!
