I've only had good experiences working with Julia. Great teacher! She's also a wonderful person. I consider her a close friend. I've learned so much and enjoyed all the parties and the people we've met. I highly recommend 1st Dance Studio. You won't regret it!

I have Julia for about 15 years now. I thinks she is a very sweet lady and have always enjoyed her Friday night socials. I live in a different state now but sure do miss her Friday night dances.

Julia is an amazing dance teacher! We took 5 private lessons from her to learn our wedding waltz, and by the end, we were already adding lifts! She is very good at teaching beginners - we not only learned steps, but feel confident with weight distributions and direction as well. I will definitely return after the wedding for more classes!

Me and my husband were thrilled to discover this dance studio! We wanted to learn different types of ballroom dancing and signed up for group classes as well as private lessons. Julia has been our teacher the whole time. She is absolutely amazing! She is a professional teacher who will make sure to teach you correctly how to move your body to make sure you don't hurt your spine.

She places a huge emphasis on correct body posture and makes sure you understand the reason behind it. She is also multilingual and has excellent understanding of cultural significance of various types of dancing. In her classes you will meet men and women from all over the world, single and married of all ages. She is very patient and will manage to teach even the hardest totally tone deaf case to dance.

She also has an excellent sense of humor. There are other teachers in the studio as well who you can sign up with for private lessons depending on your need. We attended a Friday night dance party as well and had a great time. The studio feels like United Nations with lots of very good looking folks from all over the planet. The studio has that relaxed vibe and it feels like being surrounded with friends unlike some other dance studios we visited which felt overly tense. Julia will also help you select and order proper dance shoes for the style of dance you wish to learn.

Make sure to get professional dance shoes instead of wearing regular shoes. It will help you prevent foot injuries. In a nutshell; if you want to relax, get a good laugh and learn how to dance I would wholeheartedly recommend this dance studio. Bring your business cards with you, exchange phone numbers and make new friends. It will be one of the best time investments you made in your life.

I love 1st Dance Studio! The place is beautiful and is kept in great condition, which is very important to me. We had several events at the Studio, and Julia, the owner was always helpful, friendly and very professional. They have great dance teachers and instructors there, and oh.they dance breathtakingly!

Julia was very instrumental in choreographing a tango for our annual 2020 Winter Ball. The Ball is a major fundraiser of a nonprofit Russian Heritage and a group tango was very well received by our guests. Two months of rehearsals were also very well organized and fun to attend

This studio has a very pleasant atmosphere and vibes. The teacher Julia has a very pleasant personality and it feels like we are one big family. She's strict during the teaching classes and that brings results! I am very glad I've joined this studio! Definitely would recommend it!

Friday night's are always fun. Even if you are not into dancing much still it is a good place to meet nice people. Julia is very personable and genuine person and great instructor.

As a person who has never danced in my life, I am so glad I went to this dance studio. Julia was patient, kind and understanding, she really goes over and beyond in making her clients feel comfortable. I was able to make new friends and feel good in an unfamiliar environment. Based on other reviewers, I tried 1st Dance Studio to help my family prepare for an upcoming wedding. Our instructor, Julia, was professional and fun to work with. I feel confident Julia will be able to get the bride and groom ready for their big day.

I love this studio! My whole life I was shy to dance and stood aside of dance floors. But after ~2 months of training, I realized that I already dance better than average person in a bar or a party. The Studio has a classes & individual program not only for beginners, but also for experienced dancers. You may come as a couple as well as a single person, there is about 50% single attendees of both genders.

During the class, pairs constantly mixed to allow students to share their experience. But you also can come with your spouse/fiancee and tell you never switch. I also like their Friday parties, where you have fun with friends and opportunity to practice with really great dancers (teachers, winners of different kind), who never attend a classes as a students. I definitely recommend 1st Dance Studio to everyone who wants to learn to dance, also to improve theirs skills.
