I went for one thing I needed then realized they had something else I probably didn't need but wanted.

Very creative and unique bakery. Capable of doing difficult baked goods. Over the top courtesy, service, and price.

I love the store and the service they provide. But the cost for a few of the items they sell is a bit steep. I dont buy fondant nor boxes from here. I get those things from another place out Glen Burnie. Other then that i like the store a lot.

Great place for the basics! I bake cakes for friends' and coworkers' birthdays. My local cake supply store closed recently and I could no longer get the simplest things. buttercream frosting, flavorings, fillings, decorating tips, disposable icing bags, and boxes. There were plenty of other things to look at here, but I only got what I came in for.

It was the middle of the day in the middle of the week, and there were people lined up at the registers! They had a couple of employees working, and I have only been in once, so I do not know if this was typical.

I've been doing cakes for 17 years and have used cake cottage many times in the past, however I will never shop there again. My mom did me a favor and went in to purchase two full sheet cake boards for me. I told her exactly what I needed and she wrote it down. She asked one of the employees for what I had indicated and instead of giving my mom the $2 boards she asked for she gave her 2 drum boards that cost a total of $26- but I am not allowed to return them or get store credit!

It's not my fault I am stuck with ridiculous priced boards. Seriously, those boards are worth no more than $5! It's a real shame all the other cake stores in this area are closed and people are forced to shop at Cake Cottage. Maybe one day places like Michael's and JoAnn's will have a larger higher quality board and box selection.

Buy your wedding invitations here. There is no other place that is as welcoming, inviting and helpful. We went in to look at their invitations and they had a comfortable table to sit at, we sat for hours because my wife is incredibly indecisive, but the employees didn't seem to mind at all. They brought us water and even leftover snacks from the class they were running.

The actual purchasing was EASY we pointed to the one we wanted and the staff walked us through the entire thing! They even had a discount off the book-price and made sure we got the free thank you cards. Months later I still think about how my wife and I would never have had the amazing invitations and wedding that we had without the help of this place. THANKS!

I was advised to go to this store to look for candy molds for my son's LEGO Birthday party. When I arrived the 2 ladies were talking to each other, and never said hello, or may I help you. After walking around the whole store once, I finally stood by the front counter, until one of them approached me as if it was the hardest thing for her to do. I asked what I needed and she took me to the candy mold sections and showed me a domino mold.

I advised that LEGOs are not flat, that the circle connectors need to be raised, and that they come in different lengths and shapes, unlike dominos. She acted like I was an idiot, and did not know the difference, and continued to say it was for LEGO OR Dominos. I said they are 2 different things! She was extremely rude and then said quietly that "the kids won't know the difference", at which point my 5 yo son told her "yes, we will know the difference. Those are not LEGOS!" and we walk out the door. NEVER AGAIN!
