The Wedding Headpiece or Veil - symbolizes modesty - began as a 16th Century custom for the unmarried woman. The Bridal Gown - became the fashion following the marriage of Queen Victoria, who wore an all-white gown with a Honiton lace veil. Previously, women were married in their best dresses. Something Old symbolizes traditional values taken on by the bride and handed down from someone who is respected and married.
I have been very fortunate to be involved in the exchanging of vows with thousands of different couples. People from all different walks of life and places on this earth, and although no two ceremonies are ever alike, there are some constants which have stood the test of time. Maggie is the coolest she made the whole wedding easy and beautiful. her photographer was super knowledgeable and helped us with everything we needed. I really enjoyed our wedding day. I am so happy we went with this company! I recommend barefoot weddings 1000 times over. my husband and i had the best experience!

From the time I first called Maggie up until the day we said I do she was extremely professional and very committed to make our day special! First wanted to say that we live out of state but that didn't stop Maggie and the great level of communication! We originally had our date on March 28, well covid hit and they closed the beaches! She worked hard to reschedule us to a later date.
We worked through covid and hurricanes and our day was still PERFECT! We absolutely love Maggie! She also stayed after hours when we came into town so we can sit down and finalize every detail. She was on site during our ceremony to make sure everything ran smoothly! I can't stress enough if you want your dream beach wedding book barefootweddings with Maggie!

Maggie was so awesome, she made our day absolutely perfect! She had great communication and extremely responsive. The day before the wedding we went to her office to approve of the flowers and colors. She made wedding planning stress free, all we had to do was show up. I told her a story about my late mother the day we met to approve the decor, the day of my wedding she surprised me with a very heartfelt and personal way to honor mom and make me feel like she was apart of our special day.
It meant the world to me. You can really tell she loves what she does and she will do anything to make sure her clients have their dream wedding. Thank you Maggie and the Barefoot Weddings crew for giving us a more beautiful wedding than we could ever dream of. It was the perfect day.

Maggie has done 3 weddings of people in my family. She has the most professional and caring wedding company on the Emerald Coast. If I was ever to get married again i would have her do it no questions asked. I recommend her to everyone I know! From the moment I emailed Barefoot Weddings about our May ceremony, I knew they were the company for us. Living in St. Louis and planning a wedding in Florida seemed like an impossible task and they made everything easy. Every question I had was answered from the beginning. The people were phenomenal. Maggie was amazing! We were so last minute. I contacted her 1 month before the date and she never treated me like an inconvenience. She has an actual office so your not doing everything through email. She always had a positive attitude. I feel so lucky to have found her! Everybody on her team was amazing and friendly. I will definitely be recommend Maggie and her team to everyone! By the way her bouquet was absolutely stunning! I sent her a picture not expecting it to look the same but she did an outstanding job!
