PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING THIS COMPANY. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. Extremely unprofessional. I placed an order for my daughter's 6th birthday at the beginning of the week for this weekend. $120 for balloons and they got one of the colors wrong, even after having to ask for an invoice with the correct colors (blue and purple). Sure enough, we wake up this morning to see the wrong colors (pink and purple).

I obviously wasn't thrilled but mistakes happen and even though it doesn't have my daughter's favorite color, I was sure she would still be excited. As a small business owner myself I expected at least some sort of apology. The gentleman that I spoke with was completely unprofessional. He took no responsibility, blamed the "workers" who set it up and then instead of offering at least a small refund (at least for the balloons that I didn't order), he told me that they would come and take it away, which obviously would have crushed my daughter since she had already seen it.

They made a mistake, and all they had to do was attempt to make it right, even just a little, but instead he chose to be defensive and rude, and therefore lost a first-time customer. I'm sure there are plenty of other balloon display companies that will not only actually get your order right, but will be professional and make it right when they do make a mistake. UPDATE: they came and took the display last night in the middle of the night (without notifying us). so we had it for ONE day.

Today is my daughter's actual birthday and she was devastated that it was gone this morning. $120 for one day of the wrong balloons. He now keeps hanging up in my husband. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. It's a scam.

Had a balloon set up for a first birthday and agreed to all the terms. Called twice and sent three emails to give credit card for payment and finally heard back 24 hours before hand and was told he was too busy and couldn't do the job. He said I left him Phone calls and sent emails but so did 20 other people and he just can't be expected to get back to everyone. HORRIBLE way to run a business. Extremely dissatisfied that anyone would treat a customer this way.

At the last minute we decided to have a grad party for my son. Ken was so nice and accommodating. Everyone loved the balloons. Made the party perfect! Will definitely call him again.

Ken was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He was so accommodating with time and delivery. The graduate sculpture was a big hit with our granddaughter and the neighborhood. Woul highly recommend and will definitely use MakinMemories again!

Fantastic business. Great communication and suggestions before finalizing our balloon creation. Amazing green camo-colored birthday balloon arch and number appeared in the wee hours of the morning for my son's 12th birthday. Bigger and nicer than I expected. Extra special appreciation for Ken running back over to our house multiple times to make sure it stayed perfect as long as it could despite the hot and windy weather! Definitely recommend.

Awesome customer service! Got my order in a week before my sons graduation, and was highly satisfied. Definitely some quality work! I look forward to using them again!

This place is HORRIBLE. They will not answer phone calls or emails and then will say that they get 20 emails/calls a day and why should they expect to answer those? This is after they agree to do a job for you and then 24 hours before hand they will FINALLY return a call and said that you didn't finalize payment so your job will not get done.

Very hard to finalize a payment when they don't return calls or emails asking how they want you to pay. Left me high and dry for a babies first birthday. So disappointed and wonder how Ken even manages to run a business. Thankfully I found someone else who came through for me at the last minute. and was a better price as well. STAY AWAY from this shady business.

This is a great company to use for any and all occasions. From giant balloon statues to balloons drops for any event, they always deliver. My fiance and I are getting married next year and we have already decided to use them to make our day that much better. I will be using them for any and all events coming up in the future. Highly recommended!

I would give this company a zero star if I could. I hope google does not remove this review because it accurately reflects what has transpired. This is the first review I have ever written, which is a measure of the level of disappointment I have experienced today with this company. I feel like I just got scammed by this company. Ken seemed great in the beginning.

I showed him exact pictures of what I wanted and he promised me he would be doing exactly that.we even went through many texts and conversations reviewing details of the type, shape, and color of balloons. He insisted I pay cash for the full amount ahead of time and made me drop of money to him at his house (he works out of his house!). I thought this was unusual but I gave him the benefit of doubt.

Next thing, he doesn't pick up phone, and when I did finally reach him shortly before event, he acted like he had no idea who I was and what event I was referring to the job as if was too small for him ($400!) and he was too busy to remember who I was. It was like I was talking to a different person from before the payment and after. He just said "don't worry about it, I'll be there".

So I was skeptical but then thought, why would he intentionally screw me over. Well, he delivered nothing of what we had discussed. For the bubble-themed party, instead of round clear and blue balloons that look like bubbles and round large balloons with confetti (which he charged $20 a piece for and promised me that this is what I was getting), he showed up at the banquet hall and dropped of balloon arrangements that looked like the stock balloon arrangements from a grocery store, and left in 20 min and would not respond to any of my calls.

This is highly unprofessional and concerning. I trusted him. But he set the wrong tone for what was supposed to be a celebration of my son's first year of life. Ken, Since you won't respond to my calls, I have to express my thoughts in this review. I hope you realize that what you have done is simply immoral and mean. At the end, they are just balloons. but it's the principle of intentionally taking advantage of another human being. Considering this is supposedly your passion and your business is called "Makin memories", I would think it would be your mission to make your customers happy and their event memorable. For those considering their services, at the very least, don't pay in full until the event.

I contacted Makin' Memories on short notice to see if they could surprise my family to announce the sex of our new baby while I was away for work. They were SO accommodating and hit this one of out of the park. Not only was this turned around on the same day, but they accommodated delivery to our house in the range I needed and went above and beyond with the display.

He also took special care to wrap/conceal the entire display so my husband could be totally surprised and unwrap the balloons with our kids. I was on the phone with my husband the whole time so I know first hand this could not have gone any better. I am so glad I found them! They will be my first choice any time I need balloons.

Ken and Sandra were fantastic! They made our son's second birthday even more magical with 5' tall jungle animal balloons that were the talk of the party. Very easy to work with and nailed every idea I had for his birthday party. Thank you guys, and we'll definitely be calling you again for our next party!

This company did a phenomenal job for us. The job was exactly what we wanted. It was efficiently done and in a timely manner, it was extremely professional with excellent pricing. We highly recommend this company our entire party was so happy and impressed. Beautiful job. Highly recommendable. Thank you so much for everything.

We have had this company do two events for our office and they are amazing! They are so helpful and the know how to fill a room with balloons and the wow factor! I highly recommend for any event that you need the "WOW" factor this is the place.

The customer service was excellent! Makin Memories made my balloon wall to perfection. they answered all my questions and were very accommodating! I gave them a photo of the balloon wall I wanted and they replicated just it just right. I would definitely use their services again!

While working with the American Lung Association, I used Makin Memories for our balloon arrangements at our Walk, Climb and Expo. They always did a wonderful job and were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking!
