Sean was amazing. At our initial consultation we talked about our overall energy level and expectation for the wedding and picked a list of songs we wanted him to play for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He reviewed the list, followed up with us to make sure he understood what we were going for, added some suggestions based on his experience and absolutely delivered!

On the day, he had us mic'd up for the ceremony, was setup for an outdoor cocktail hour and then transitioned inside for the welcome/reception seamlessly. He acted almost like a wedding planner to help keep us on schedule and checked in with us to make sure things were going as planned. He did so well, the Bride and I both separately went up to him during the reception to praise his high energy and talents!

He played all the best parts of all of our favorite songs, knew when to bring it down so people could catch their breath, then went right back to up-tempo. Sean is amazing and I would absolutely recommend him!

Y'ALL working with Sean was the BEST. He knew exactly what we wanted and executed perfectly. He reads the room so well and feeds off everyones energy. I ended up so sweaty by the end of the reception because I could not and would not leave the dance floor! There are a lot of opinions to be had when it comes to wedding DJs, but you really can't beat Sean! He is everything that you want in a wedding vendor: nice, responsive, flexible, and organized. And that's just how he runs the business, I haven't even mentioned how great a DJ he actually is! We have received nothing but compliments on our wedding and one that always shows up is just how great the music was. Sean works with you to play the music that you want to hear and he is able to read the room to know when changes need to be made.

Our wedding was front to back bangers to the point that some people just lost track of time while on the dance floor, completely missing dessert. We also wanted to have a live music component for our first dance, and Sean did not hesitate in collaborating with our sound engineer to pull it off effortlessly. Deciding on a DJ was one of the biggest decisions we had to make for our wedding and my wife and I are so thankful that we ended up working with Sean. He was so responsive throughout the process and even performed a live demo to showcase his abilities. We LOVED having Sean as our DJ for our wedding! He made the whole process of choosing our music effortless and stressless. Since our wedding was a destination wedding, we did all of our correspondence through email, text and phone calls. We never had a hard time getting in touch with him and he always made time for us and any questions we had. He really is an artist in what he does; there was never a strange transition from one song to the next and he was great in keeping with our preferred songs for the evening. He also gave some great recommendations for ceremony music. I wish I had more excuses to hire Sean; he is truly a joy to work with!

I was one of those brides who thought I didn't need a DJ and could just play a playlist from my phone, but boy was I wrong! Sean is much more than a DJ--he helped us create the mood and tone of our reception, and he helped coordinate logistics and flow throughout the day. We had a lot of moving pieces with my brother playing the ceremony music, and he coordinated everything perfectly.

He was professional and calm, helping to reduce any nerves or stress about the big day. Also, during the reception, I was so impressed at how he could read the room and crowd and adjusted the music accordingly. DJs are hard to hire if you haven't heard them live, but that's what I did with Sean after a very successful and positive phone interview, and I am SO GLAD I did. Sean at ATX DJ is phenomenal. Not only is he great at keeping any vibe going that you wish (country/rock/rap/line dances), he is a 5 star-highly recommend from me because of his ability to pick up social cue's. There were multiple times (mother-son dance, father-daughter dance) that we needed songs to simply end and move on, and Sean only needed quick eye contact, and he would flow into the next moment with no awkward pause.

DJ Sean Alan was so awesome! From beginning to end, planning meetings to wedding reception, he couldn't have made it easier for us. We went away from the reception wishing it wasn't over, and much of that was due to the music and the fun we were all having on the dance floor. We had a wide range of ages attending the reception and Sean worked really hard to help us have something for all. We've had comments from from so many on how much fun the music was.

The dance floor was never empty. Also, must say the photo booth was quite a hit as well. Loved getting the great photo album with all the fun pics to look back on. Thank you Sean Alan, you're the best!

DJ Sean Alan is THE BEST! For a couple who loves music so much, but aren't big dancers, DJ Sean was a life saver. He had so many creative ideas and suggestions for keeping our guests entertained while still keeping our vision for our wedding ceremony and reception at the forefront. He's very responsive and will be involved in the planning as little or as much as you need him. He even helped us create the timeline of events for our wedding reception, which was such a huge help, considering we did not hire a wedding coordinator. We could not be more pleased with Sean's services! He provided us with both quality DJ services and the photo booth service, which was an absolute smash at the reception. Seriously, the photo booth is an amazing idea, and every reception should have one! Sean was incredibly responsive to our needs and interests. He took amazing care of us by consulting to understand precisely what we were looking for during the reception, offering suggestions where we weren't really sure.

He responds to e-mails quickly, and takes care of any troubles that you have. He made our reception amazing! DJ Sean Alan is AWESOME! He is such a pleasure to work with and is truly one of the most understanding, flexible and easygoing people I've ever met. DJ Sean was fabulous to work with for our wedding. Sean met with us prior to the wedding to get a feel for our style and favorite song choices. He has an interactive tool you can use to build your preferred playlist. Made everything sound-wise run smooth as butter! Very personal and fun. Sean did a fantastic job at our wedding - we had the lovely and personal ceremony and the epic dance party we wanted, and he made sure the event flowed smoothly and on the timeline we had envisioned. He arrived on time, set up perfectly (even in a ceremony space with no power!) and hit every cue for the ceremony. We loved how Sean brought energy to the party, without being cheesy or over the top.

For the first song after the special dances, the dance floor was literally flooded immediately with people ready to party, and it stayed packed all night long with both young and older guests. I can not express how happy I am that we chose Sean for our wedding DJ. Everyone told me (including my coordinator) that a DJ can make or break your wedding, and Sean MADE our wedding! Sean was the DJ for our July 2014 wedding and was flawless! First of all, he was very easy to communicate with, extremely nice. He was always professional, kind, conscientious, and was very well dressed. A couple weeks before the wedding he took the time to have a face to face meeting with us to discuss our tastes and preferences, and to get to know us as a couple.

He really put our minds at ease from the get go! He did a fabulous job and played the songs we requested. There were always people dancing and having a good time. He did a great job with keeping the flow and transitioning genres or songs in response to the crowd. He played all the right songs at the right time. I can't say enough amazing things about Sean! He is the best! He's so passionate about what he does, and his excitement is contagious! Sean got everyone dancing at my wedding last April. Everyone. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, awkward dates of friends, introverts, wallflowers, everyone. I was impressed with Sean before I even met him. He's got an interface on his website where customers can choose songs that should be played and, most importantly, songs that should *not* be played.

So I was able to cut out "The Macarana" and "The Chicken Dance" months before my wedding. It's not a deal-sealer for a good DJ, but it was a solid indicator that this guy knows what he's doing. Sean went above and beyond for our wedding. There was some confusion with our wedding planner so Sean and a couple of our friends who run a wedding venue stepped in to make sure everything went without a hitch.

If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, Christmas party for work, school dance, retirement party, house party, or any event that involves humans and celebrating, you're done looking. Hire Sean.

We used Sean for our wedding a couple if days ago! He is awesome it's like we found a awesome family member to DJ our wedding. He is super flexible and laid back. He played everything I wanted and did an overall great job! Everybody at the wedding loved him! Highly recommend!

I cannot speak highly enough of DJ Sean's talent. Most of my emails were responded to within 10 minutes of my inquiry - he made us feel important every step of the way and went above and beyond to make our wedding happen the way we intended. We weren't prepared for how well it went. I come from a family that's, uh.dancing challenged.we were all out on the dance floor the entire night, along with all the other guests. DJ Sean had perfect timing with song transitions and knew exactly which song to play next to keep things moving. I will without a doubt hire him for future events and if you want someone who knows what they're doing and LOVES what they're doing. You'll hire him too.

So my review is based on a simple inquiry as to schedule/availability. I read the reviews on ATX DJ and sent him a message based on everyone else being VERY happy with the services provided. I cannot speak to the DJing since I have not ever hired nor heard this company at an event. Sean was quick to respond to my inquiry. Though he is booked, he directed me to a site where I could look for another DJ/DJ company.

He was very nice and is also willing to continue to help with any questions I might have, in a general sense. I appreciate his help and if I ever need to hire a DJ in the future or know someone else who does, I would point them towards Sean. Thanks!

DJ Sean is as good as they get. He's a very experienced DJ in general, from old school raves to formal weddings. Two days before my wedding, our wedding planner, Buon Affare, dropped out. (They were horrendous!) Sean stepped up and offered to help as much as we needed him to, since our new day of coordinator only had two days to get prepared for our wedding.

His timing was perfect, the music sounded amazing and he kept my entire wedding dancing from start til finish. He even had his own props for when we danced (and sang) to fun songs like "Sunglasses at Night". If you need a DJ (for ANY event), Sean is your man.

Having Curt arrive by boat is not quite your typical ceremony entrance, but something fun and different. Having you play the music and timing everything just right, was perfect! All of our guests thought it was great!

I am also appreciative of your help in selecting songs for the cake cutting, and last dance...some things that I just didn't think about out, and with your help they were all the more special. We didn't have to worry about a thing and all of our guests commented that it was the funnest wedding/reception that they have ever been to, and we owe a lot of that to you.
