Q: Have you always been located in Paradise, California? A: No, the business started in the midwest, came to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1986, moved to Stockton in 1992, and finally came to Paradise in 2008. Q: What happens if you can not show up for my wedding? A: Very good question. Allensmusic would hire a replacement to cover the event.

I have just taken delivery of my Lowrey Grand Marquee organ from Allens. I have bought several instruments from them in the past and every transaction has been dealt with so professionally and with efficiency from the initial sale to delivery and after sales service I would like to thank Trevor and Tom for their patience when giving me advice regarding the instrument best suited to me and to Tam and Con for the hard work and understanding when trying to manoeuvre the Lowrey around numerous tight corners at my home Dealing with Allens has been a pleasure and I hope to continue my association with them

Contacted this shop to enquire about a keyboard in a shop window display in Lowestoft which I was interested in purchasing for my husband as a surprise gift for Christmas. This keyboard would bring back many memories of his childhood and his father who had recently passed away! Having called several times for approx the last two months and always a promise to call me back with an update so they could arrange to get it out of the shop window they never did.
To say the customer service and communication was zero would be an understatement. I know the keyboard was old and probably not worth much to them but it meant a lot to me to get this for my husband.

Having read the reviews, this sounded like a good business to deal with. I was interested in an instrument they were selling and corresponded by email. I was invited to make an offer which I did (which was a perfectly reasonable offer) and provided ideas regarding delivery. I did not hear back so sent a follow up email. Sadly, two weeks on, I have still not had a reply. Very disappointing. If they did not want to accept my offer, the courteous thing to do would have been to tell me.

The technical service is very miserable. When you show interest in buying an organ they are friendly and helpful, but when you have bought an expensive organ and face a technical problem afterwards, they let you down. You can get your fingers sore, you don't get an answer from them and they pretend that they no longer exist. I can only advise everyone against buying. Hands away from this unreliable Dealer!

The customer service was super polite, I was shopping for a guitar and unfortunately they only carry the lower end of the guitar market. If you are looking for a yamaha or a non branded guitar, im sure you can get something there. If you are looking for a Fender/Gibson.etc.you may have to look elsewhere.

While in Yarmouth for a few days I just had to go into Allens and meet Trevor etc. Just a social visit but I did want to hear the Rialto. WoW, Trevor blew me away on it. A great big thank you to Trevor. A huge thank you to a guy who's name I don't know. But he helped me a lot with my walking difficulties. I really must get myself a Rialto. Thanks guys
