BRIDES BEWARE! MY FLOWERS FOR MY WEDDING WERE NEVER DELIVERED. EMPLOYEE WHO WAS DESIGNATED TO DELIVER THEM JUST LITERALLY FORGOT TO DELIVER THEM. Details below: I ordered flowers for my wedding from Perry's in Ronkonkoma. I thought this was a safe choice since my husband and I were getting married down the block at St. Joseph's which would make the delivery process super simple.
Being an anxious bride, I followed up after ordering/paying for them in the store asking for my order and delivery date/time to be put in writing. After a few days of waiting, Wendy sent me the confirmation in email. In addition to this email confirmation, I confirmed the delivery information AGAIN via email with Wendy a week before my wedding and also on the phone with another employee two days before my wedding.
The wedding day flowers were supposed to be delivered at 3:30PM for a 4PM start time. I arrived at my wedding at 3:45PM ready to walk down the isle to find that the flowers HAD STILL NOT been delivered. Everyone had been scrambling. We tried calling and emailing and received no response from anyone at the store. My sister in law literally ran out of the church and drove to Perry's herself to find the door locked, lights off, and no employee in sight because they were closed.
My sister then ran out and drove home to try and find flowers for me at least so I wasn't walking down the isle empty handed. My father in law and dad were running around the church checking every room inside and outside to see if they were delivered someone else. Our guests were waiting in the pues for 45 minutes waiting. My family and bridal party had no flowers and the church alter was completely bare without our flower arrangement.
My bridesmaids literally walked down the isle holding their thumbs awkwardly while completely flushed red from running around trying to help find the flowers. Not to mention, we paid for a photographer to take bridal party photos afterwards and we did not have flowers. We also planned to use the bouquets as a part of our decor at our reception which also didn't happen.
Our Mr. & Mrs. Dias Table was bare. My husband and mother in law went to Perry's the next day to talk to Wendy and figure out what happened. Wendy took all of the responsibility and said they messed up and that nothing she could say would make this okay. While it was mature of them to own up to their terrible mistake, it still does not make the situation better.
They refunded my cards and my family left the store. I was completely shocked that they returned home empty handed. Perry's didn't even have the decency to offer to give us our flowers that were just sitting in the box still at the store and going to die in a day or two anyway. I called back asking for the flowers since we didn't have a keepsake from our wedding.
They delivered the flowers that day to our house, but didn't give us the alter flower arrangement we had made. They attached a small apology card to the delivery with my name spelt wrong. They didn't offer or add anything additional such as a plant, roses, a small gift, or discount, coupon etc. to even attempt to compensate or try to keep our business.
In addition, I asked Wendy for the full story while we were on the phone. I finally got it out of her that the employee who was supposed to close up the store and deliver the flowers just completely forgot to deliver them and left. It is completely baffling that there was not a confirmation between manager and employee that the delivery was completed or in process.
This is pretty sad since used to be such a reputable store. I love supporting small businesses in my hometown but I should have went to Towers Flowers in Nesconsent instead. Think twice before choosing Perry's for your important event.

Updated - I received a dozen roses (pictured) my husband grabbed them out of the case ( he didn't order them). They were pretty much dying already. Maybe the girls in the place didn't realize how long they were sitting in the case or something. Perry's replaced them with a beautiful fresh bouquet delivered to my house. Customer service was great. I honestly wouldn't mind the original bouquet if maybe sold for like $10 stating they are at the end of their lifespan and giving the opportunity to those who cannot spend $60 on a bouquet to make a loved one happy :) We always order from Perry's and this is the first time there was an issue. It was quickly resolved and very happy with the flowers sent. They however did not last as long as expected and began wilting within a week.

Thank You Perry's. It was the day before mother's day this year. Several florists said they would call me back but never did. Perry's was kind enough to help me with a last minute birthday arrangement. They really went out of their way to research what I wanted and to deliver it the same day. The agent and delivery people made the whole experience wonderful with no stress on my part. The arrangement was beautiful and very fairly priced. Thank you Perry's. You saved the day.

My mom ordered a bouquet of flowers spending $50 asked for specific flowers in bouquet which they said no problem. She ordered it for curbside when she gave it to me she was disappointed that what she asked for was not there. Next day flowers started dying. Not worth the money. She tried to use a local business but if this the crap they sell you not worth supporting them. Next time she will use stop & shop or Whole Foods. I do not recommend Perry's florist.

Today We ordered flowers for one of our doctors to give to his wife from From you flowers. Perry's flowers delivered within 2 hours which was great but the arrangement was nothing as the website picture. Bob called Wendy (very nice and sweet staff) helped fix the arrangement. Bob drove it back and within 45 mins we had a huge beautiful arrangement. I can't thank Wendy and Bob enough for what they did for us. I will call them directly from now on for anything we may need.

Recent order for birthday flowers was received and to my surprise the vase that was specific to my piece was not included. It is a bit of a disappointment to find this out upon arriving home. When I called to inform the store of situation she seemed to be indifferent about this. I explained it would have been much appreciated if informed of this while ordering. Sad to be treated like this.

My boyfriend got me 2 dozen roses from here and they lasted 2 weeks! I've never had roses last more then 3 or 4 days these were beautiful and they opened so nicely! I couldn't believe the quality! He will only get me roses from here for now on! The delivery driver was so kind and sweet when he delivered these to my office!

I had my wedding flowers done by Perry's Florist and everything was beyond amazing! I got so many compliments by my guest of how beautiful my center pieces were. Angelina and the staff were so helpful through the process. The prices are also very reasonable in comparison to other florists who want an arm and a leg. Get your flower arrangements/needs here! You will not be disappointed, trust me!

Stop here for flowers for my mother in laws funeral. After sitting down and picking out the display we wanted in the book, we went to place the order the girls ringing us up than told us a price that was almost double the advertised price. Being it was a day before the service we had to get them being the other florist in town was closed on Mondays. Never again

This is the worst place to get flowers I bought a dozen of long stem red roses for my wife they died with in 2 days called to speak to the manager on several occasions. But she was never there she was either next door or not around please don't waste your money at a florist that does not give a damn about there customers and the young girls working there as well no class.

Literally sitting in the parking lot after spending $265.00 and completely disappointed. The day before Mother's Day, I walked in to buy flowers. Two small pre-made bouquets for my mother-in-law and friend and larger for my wife. They literally took a dozen roses and tossed them in a vase for $100. Fine I guess. I asked them to spice it up a bit, I had no problem spending more money. $165 later and they tossed four Lily's in the vase and wrapped it in a frosted garbage bag.
No effort whatsoever. I asked her to use the fancier clear paper for wrapping and she said they never use that, which is nonsense because I spend thousands a year here for occasions. So, she re-wrapped them. They use the clear paper EVERY time! Then she staples the balloons to the plastic so they fly away when my wife takes the paper off. I said you always tie them to the flowers.
I got nasty looks from the whole group that was working at that point. I am sure they are busy in general for Mother's Day, but the store had one person shopping aside from me. I even offered to run some errands and come back, didn't want to rush anyone. I would not care if I was buying $40 pre-made bouquets, which is why I didn't complain when she wrapped those in frosted garbage bags. But, the $175 I spent on my wife, terrible.
So disappointing. Never again. I have never sat in a parking lot to write a review. They lost me as a customer. Thousands a year out-the-window. If I wanted such a terrible arrangement, I would have used an online retailer. Again, so disappointed. Completely feel like I wasted $265. I also think she was messing with me because she filled the vase up to the rim and she knew I was taking it in my car. Again, awful.

My mother and my aunt just went into Perry's yesterday to buy flowers for my grandmother's funeral. They were both shocked by the horrible customer service. At a time when people are grieving, the LAST thing they need is to be rushed and treated rudely. My mother had picked out an arrangement on Perry's website, but when she arrived she was told that they had none of the flowers pictured in stock.
She was told that they would just "pick something" out to replace the flowers they did not have. When you're paying over $300 for a funeral arrangement, you should have a say in what flowers are in it. My grandmother lived in Holbrook and was a loyal customer of Perry's for years. It makes me sick to my stomach that my Aunt and my mother were treated so poorly by their staff.

So yesterday, I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday from 1-800-Flowers. Needless to say they did not get to her by end of day, although they said they were delivered. Called today for a person who signed for them, Bob signed for them. Whose Bob? Well after being frustrated and a day late for my wife's birthday, I called Perry's. Flowers delivered with 2 hours and coincidently at the same time as the 1-800 flowers delivery. My wife said the Perry's flowers were much nicer. And they were less expensive. So, I have a new florist.

These people are RUDE. We went to chose some flowers and such after my sister-in-law passed away. The chick at the counter was cold and might have been drunk? She took this haggard photo album with old polaroids in it and tossed at my wife and said "This is what we do" My wife is dealing with a bad time and the last thing we need is some heartless skell acting rude.
The flowers on display were DEAD and wilted and it was just awful. We went some place else. I will never even DRIVE past this place again unless i must. Cant wait for it to close down. Heartless and rude.

This florist is on my way home from work, (large parking lot) I often stop there to buy flowers for my beautiful wife Ermi, I have to say she always seems to love them. They always have a long life. Prices are reasonable and the little girls at the counter are always very kind. Sometimes I call ahead and the bouquets are always ready. Never had a bad experience.

I hava gone to Perry's for the last 15 years at least 3 times a year. WIfe's birthday, anniversary & of coarse Valentines day, Hint hint guys. I always get at least a dozen roses. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Never had a bad experience at all here. One nice thing about Perry's, Is that they don't jack up there pricing on a dozen roses come holiday times.
A dozen long stem roses in a box is 19.95. Great value in my mind, and i have found they last 4-7 days generally. Would recommend Perry's Florist if you are in the area.

Overpriced, rude owner (woman) and kids working the counter. No compassion what so ever when a customer is dealing with the loss of a loved one and no customer service skills on the phone or in emails. Constant confusion. After 3 or 4 chances, I refuse to go back and now give my business to COLONIAL FLOWERS down the block from Perry's. It's a shame, because the flowers they use are beautiful, but the people? not so much.

Every year I send my grandmother flowers from here on her birthday. This florist ensures that the flowers arrive on time and makes beautiful arrangements. With your input they design all kinds of great arrangements that really brighten up an room and make the recipient smile. The one downside is the price, but in comparison to the rest of LI its pretty fair.
