Nyack Seaport

Nyack seaport catered a event at the Double tree in Nanuet for us. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing! Cocktail hour amazed our guests. We had numerous compliments about the entire evening. We can not say enough fabulous things about Tommy, Angelo and all their staff!

They provided a great b-day party and 50th wedding anniversary for my In-laws. Great food & service. Management has always been very attentive and helpful during the multiple parties we held there.

The hall itself is ok, but the entrance is a bit of a downer. Uneven pavement, with only a partially private feeling for the private party event that I went to recently. The downstairs bathroom hallway has damaged ceiling panels, which gives it a very cheap feeling. Overall an ok experience.

FINALLY! Last night my wonderful daughter and son in law had the wedding of their dreams after having to postpone two times due to the pandemic. We needed a new venue after the first two dates didn't happen. We came to the Seaport months ago and Angelo said "well we're in the midst of renovating. Here's what we're going to do." He showed me what they were planning on doing.

Well what he described sounded so beautiful so we booked the Seaport on his promises. Boy did he deliver! The place was stunning and even lovelier than we had hoped. Add in those views and it was truly gorgeous. It's 2 hours after the wedding, middle of the night and I got a million messages saying how delicious everything was. Everyone loved the place and said the staff couldn't do enough for them. Tommy and his staff didn't miss a thing, guiding us through what was happening and as the MOB I didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Nyack Seaport! It was magical!

Attended my sister's wedding on Saturday, September 25, 2021. The venue was very nice, the food was great and the waitstaff was attentive and polite, with the exception of the head waitress (older woman, curly salt and pepper hair), who was brusque, sarcastic, and rude. During the reception, the table I was sitting at was missing utensils and napkins.

I walked to the service area near the kitchen and asked the head waitress if I could have 2 setups for my companion and myself. I waited near the kitchen for approximately 10 minutes, and she did not return. I assumed she had gotten distracted and pulled to another task, so I asked someone else, who gave them to me immediately. I went back to my table and approximately 10 minutes later, the head waitress appeared at the table holding a dozen setups cradled in her 2 hands.

She asked me if I needed one, then made a rude comment about me asking multiple people for a setup, before turning around and walking away. I was taken back by her sarcasm and nastiness. I certainly understand that waitstaff are very busy during an event like this, however, it does not give them license to be rude and nasty. To think, she knew someone else gave me the utensils already, but she made it a point to seek me out, ON PURPOSE, to be rude and nasty, because she felt that she had been somehow wronged. Individuals like this person do not possess the proper demeanor or have the "people" skills required, and should not be working in the service industry and interface with the public.

While this person's bad behavior reflects poorly on her, unfortunately, and ultimately, it reflects poorly on the venue and negatively impacts the establishment. If you do book this venue, you should ask them NOT to assign her to your function. If you attend this venue and she is working the event, do not engage with her.

The food & service was amazing! I went here for my Aunt's birthday party. It was a three course meal. We first had Orecchiette Pasta with Broccoli Rabe & Sausage cooked to PERFECTION al dente. It was delicious. Then a fresh salad of mixed greens w/oven dried cranberries, candied walnuts, w/a cider vinaigrette dressing. The main course was a choice of Medallions of Shell Steak w/a Merlot Demi Glaze, Chicken Franchise, or Filet of Salmon w/Mandarin Orange Ginger Sauce.

I had the chicken and it was unbelievable! Others enjoyed the steak and/or salmon dinners very much! All came with a side of fresh cooked veggies & roasted potatoes. Not sure where they got the birthday cake from, but it was 100% delicious B&W cake w/choc filling accompanied by french vanilla ice cream. This place was very clean, the service was exceptional, and the view of and on the river was beautiful!

I really can't say enough about this place. Try it for yourself! ---- Sorry, wish I had thought to take pics of the food, but I did get this fantastic photo of a double rainbow that showed up at the end of the afternoon.

We held a reception after our son's baptism and Angelo took fantastic care of us. First, we planned the party from across the country and Angelo was a prompt, professional, and thorough communicator. Second, the flexibility and options that we had from the room, menu, cake, decor, music, etc. really helped us have the event that we wanted. Third, the entire syaff at the Nyack Seaport, including the maitre d, Grace, were so accommodating and helpful. I can't say enough great things about the venue, food, and service. We would definitely work with Angelo again and have another event at the Nyack Seaport.

Let me start off by saying that this is a beautiful place, however it's run by an incompetent person. The woman in charge of booking events didn't return my calls. On top on that, even when we visited the place, she was on the phone and told her secretary that she couldn't meet with us. I was baffled. How can you turn away potential customers when they are at the venue.

It was only after I insisted to wait did she come out to meet us. All I have to say is she's terrible and should find a new profession. She seems miserable and could care less about booking an event. She didn't care to accommodate and wasn't friendly at all. It's sad that such a nice venue is left to such incompetent person. Look elsewhere!

Nyack Seaport catered my husbands 60th at Spook Rock Chalet. The food was outstanding. The staff made sure our party was perfect! Exceeded my expectations! Thank you for making our party a huge success.

We had our wedding here and I can not say enough good things. I was a little nervous at first as I do not live in New York so we had one meeting in person and than did a lot over the phone. I did not have to worry at all everything was done perfectly before and during. They had everything under control and I was never worried the day of the wedding.

Also a special shout out to Audrey for being so helpful to the bride and groom. I will always remember her calming me down before I walked down the aisle. I have a feeling she has done this before. They also did a great job recommending the additional vendors we needed as we were not from the area. They were also always willing to accommodate my requests as the bride even though I was not the one paying the bill which I appreciated.

The food was above and beyond. Six years later people are still talking about how good the food was especially the penne vodka that we had during cocktail hour. There was so much food during cocktail hour my guests were stunned that there was still a full sit down meal to come. We had a choice of prime rib, chicken, or salmon for lunch and they were all excellent. We also really enjoyed the ice cream and Italian cookies for dessert that we had with our wedding cake. I highly recommend The Nyack Seaport for your venue.

Upscale banquet restaurant for that bridal shower or special occasion. Located right on shores of the Hudson river in the historic village of Nyack. Magnificent waterfront vista and panoramic view of the Tappan Zee bridge.

Nyack Seaport is a hidden gem. We held our recent December wedding there and I can't say enough about the staff or venue. It is family-owned and they make you feel like one of the family as opposed to a larger impersonal banquet hall. They clearly care about food and are a restaurant style caterer; they were even so accommodating as to have a special meal prepared for my 92 year old grandfather!

We held our ceremony there as well, with the Hudson River in the background at sunset. Village of Nyack memorial park is next door and a fantastic spot for photos. Cocktail hour and Viennese hour were great. One thing I also liked about the space is a large dance floor. The wedding coordinator is responsive and thorough. Her assistant and the maitre d were also excellent.

The one thing I would flag is if you have disabled guests; there is a ramp on the other side of the building but ensure it is well coordinated with venue that valet automatically directs disabled folks there. All in all, I highly recommend Nyack Seaport as a great spot for a wedding

We had the greatest wedding especially when they were accommodating at a such short notice due to another venue being horrible. In just 3 weeks they got us everything we asked for and more. The food had nothing but compliments and I enjoyed the BBQ very much. They made sure my wife and I were well taken care of during the reception I even got to eat I heard that was difficult to do. Over all every thing was perfect to the end and I highly recommend for any venue you have to be at the Nyack Seaport. The greatest gratitude, Mr. & Mrs. McGill

Food was bland. The chicken was dry and tasteless and it is very expensive. Not worth the money.

Reserved a table for my girl and I, when we arrived they had a corner booth in front of the window prepped for us. Food was delicious anyone who says otherwise is too classy for their own good

I hat this place don't come here they are mean bullies and send girls to the bathroom only. Don't come here for bar or bat mitsvah

Valicitie was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. My husband and I could not have picked a better place to have our wedding reception! The food was delicious, and even our pickiest eaters couldn't stop raving about it.

We had my son's Bar Mitzvah here on a Saturday night. The service and food was excellent. Angelo and Valicitie pay attention to every detail. The hall is pretty and not overdone and the views are terrific.

We were here for a graduation party and the food was ridiculously amazing! The only thing I could even remotely complain about is the confusing parking situation and trying to figure out which door to go in to get to the banquet room. The cosmos were perfect, the appetizers delectable and the seafood stuffed sole was exquisite! Best fish I have ever had in a banquet setting. Found one pin bone but otherwise it was flaky deliciousness without being dry and overdone. The location is cute and the outdoor deck/patio is a great place to sit.

We planned our high school reunion at the Seaport Inn, and the event was really wonderful. The room, the food, the planning attention from Angelo, and the price made the evening quite a success. Special thanks to our maitre d' Audrey for making us feel pampered and well organized all night! We highly recommend the venue for special events like ours.
