Evaline's Bridal

My friend ordered her bridesmaids dresses from this store. When I went they measured me at a size 10 (I wear a 4 in real life), I said no way. The associate told me sometime dress sizes differ, and if I felt too uncomfortable to go with an 8. Reluctantly I agreed. The next week I went to another bridal shop for a different wedding and they measured me at a 4.

So I knew something was off. Today when I went to pick up my dress from the store, the dress was HUGE! The associates (who I had to find because they were not in the front of the store) said I could pay $100 basically to get it altered. This place is a SCAM. If you're measurements are that off, why would I trust you to do alterations correctly? Also horrible customer service! Do not come here if you want to be measured correctly!

I walked into Evaline's very discouraged from my previous appointment at another bridal shop but it was such a warm and welcoming environment! Kari line was THE best help! She made me feel so comfortable and confident and I walked out with the dress of my dreams! 100% hands down the sweetest and best ladies at this shop! would recommend to everyone!

Do not spend a dime here. I had an appointment on 5/20. I called ahead to schedule and to verify the availability of the specific designers I was looking for and the availability to purchase off the rack. I was ensured they were able to accommodate me. Upon walking in there were 3 bridal sales women who were helping me which was overwhelming. I had tried on two dresses one was a Berta and the other one I was told was a Berta for $6,000.

When it came down to decide on which one I wanted to purchase I ultimately wanted the true original Berta. Since this is an off the rack dress I asked for the off the rack price and they told me the dress was "new" and had never even been tried on before which was a LIE. It had self tanner stains inside the boning, there was a dog walking all over the train and after I looked into the dress multiple pictures were posted in the gown I was attempting to purchase on their Facebook and Google reviews, the same gown was also in the trunk show they had in December.

I had a horrible feeling about this place since I was spending close to 10,000 and was treated like 10K isn't good enough. When I told them that I'm going to go home and think about it they left me to undress by my self no help and they all dispersed back to their areas. When I came out the women said I should make my mind up because multiple people buy Berta dresses and someone just bought one last week but I was previously told nobody had bought any of these in months.

Ultimately I loved the Berta dress from this store and would have bought it if the experience was different but the blatant lies to make a few more thousand dollars is why I did not purchase from them.

OMG! This store is incredible! They have an AMAZING amount of dresses and they are all gorgeous. More importantly, the experience you will have here is top notch. We visited a larger, chain store before coming here and it was night and day different. You will get personalized attention in an intimate and inviting setting. The consultants will listen to what you want and select dresses accordingly. Brooke is FANTASTIC.

She has the beast demeanor and best attitude and will work tirelessly to make sure you find the dress of your dreams. I cannot say enough good things about her. You will NOT be disappointed in Evaline's! Brooke is off on Fridays, make sure you go on a day she is there!

Bought my prom dresses, years ago, and my wedding dress, yesterday(!) at Evalines. Morgan was awesome! She understood what I was looking for and pulled the perfect gown after we tried a few dresses out. The other ladies we talked to were also friendly and warm. The selection and variety of gowns was top tier. I've recommended them before and will continue to recommend this shop! Worth the drive from Pittsburgh to keep the family tradition.

Had a blast working with Beth! The crew was very attentive and understanding of my vision for my bridal gown and they already had the one picked out before I got there! So glad I got to work with them today! I recommend their shop to any bride looking for a comfortable and happy enjoyable bride dress shopping day!

I worked with Rachel on a virtual appointment and she was THE BEST. She kept me up to date when the dress I wanted arrived early for the trunk show and called me on time for our appointment. She was such a joy to communicate with.

I cannot say enough about how horrible my experience was with Evaline's. After the first appointment where I purchased my $$$$ dress and paid for it in full, everything was a complete disaster. I tried time and time again to have faith that they would apologize, do the right thing, or that my next experience wouldn't be as awful as the last appointment, but every single time I was let down.

At exactly 37 days before my wedding I was left having to find a completely new dress as they ordered my original dress 2 sizes too small and they could not guarantee the correct replacement dress would come in, in a timely manner. We were fortunate enough to get our money back, but only after repeatedly going back and forth with the owner and after her nickel and diming us for every last penny.

I am one of 4 people I know personally have had a horrible experience with this bridal salon. I also notice that they continue to delete their negative reviews so I will be checking periodically to make sure that mine was not taken down, or I will gladly repairs it. If you want the memory of your wedding dress to be absolutely tarnished, to deal with an owner who never apologizes and always acts like it's "your" issue and that you're the one being difficult, then this is your place.

Would not recommend! My daughter in laws experience here was terrible. No bride should have to be stressed up until the day of the wedding over her dress! One week before her wedding day dress was still not altered properly and she was told to have someone pickup dress morning of wedding! Dress was picked up morning of wedding- shoved into a bag so dress arrived with bottom wrinkled needing to be steamed an hour before the ceremony. Unacceptable customer service!

Amazing customer service and excellent suggestion. I found my dress at another store but Maddie is continuing to help me with veils, bridesmaid dresses, and more. She even helped me with opinions on the dress I found at another store! She has been so wonderful to work with

Terrible experience. Dress was not altered as promised after 3 fittings and bride was told to just pick it up morning of wedding! Extremely stressful experience would not recommend this shop

The stylist, Pam, who was assisting me yesterday was. interesting. So asked to see pictures of styles I like and she started pulling dresses. She pulled one, and axed it by saying was too old-looking for me, "like something for someone on their second time around." I said, "it is my second time around." When I expressed my concern that a strapless dress emphasizes my broad shoulders, she told me it was body dysmorphia.

She asked if I was going to cover up my tattoos. (Why would I?) While I was in a mermaid style dress, she commented about my hip dips, and tugged on the dress there, saying it was loose just right there. She kept asking me, "what makes you feel like a bride? What does this dress have to have for you to like it?" And got annoyed when I said it was more of a feeling, not a specific detail.

She told me a dress looked nice on me and followed it up with "and you can trust me because I told you those other dresses wouldn't look good on you." And also informed me she doesn't work on commission. This is only the second shop I went to, the first that isn't a chain store. Overall I liked aspects of the dresses I tried but I felt rushed and pressured, and mildly offended by some of her comments.

She did put a veil on me and that almost made me cry. Just the veil, nothing to do with the dress. (My first marriage did not include a wedding or wedding dress, so this is all new to me.) Oh, and I emailed the store looking for a specific dress from a designer they carry when I set my appointment. The didn't bother to tell me they didn't have the dress I was looking for until I was in the dressing room.

She had mentioned dresses she pulled as being similar (they weren't) and it wasn't until I asked if they had it that I was told they didn't. I was a bit irked about that. It very much seems as if they intentionally forwent telling me that just to get me into the store, so they could try to get me to buy something else.

Very nice place. I did try on some dresses but I also brought a dress with me for my wedding. I wasn't quite sure which style I wanted. Eventhough I had a dress I was still willing to buy another if I found one. I tried a few on and then the one I brought and I ultimately chose the dress I brought. However they helped me so much with getting the corset lace, fixing all of the loose beading. The owners husband is the owner of Rite Cleaners and he steamed and cleaned my dress. Everything was beautifully done and I couldn't have asked for better turnout

Evaline's. Terrible, terrible Evaline's. I've seen way more BAD reviews than good ones. I've not had a pleasant run with them either. First of all, they make you feel less fortunate if you cannot afford a gown that is thousands of dollars. What tops the cake for me is, I put $400 down for the dress I want. $400 freaking dollars.

I began making my payments. I asked in SEPTEMBER when my ship date would be for this gown. I was told within the next few weeks. Ok, great. Fast forward to January. I called and asked when my dress would be shipped. They needed a week to get back to me. Laughing out loud at this point. They call me back and say it should be here by June. JUNE?! I ordered that dress in MAY 2019! They are full of crap. Do not go there. I don't know how they are even still in business. I've heard plenty of horror stories about them. Should have listened!

The customer service here is an absolute embarrassment - if you want a stress free wedding day DO NOT buy your dress from here. The alterations were completely wrong and when asked to come to a second fitting they asked us to take PTO from work to accommodate to THEIR schedule even though they were the ones that messed up. Brides be warned - if you want to be happy on your wedding day DO NOT come here
